Oh Janee sweetheart :hugs: I'm so sad for you. I was thinking of you all day, hoping that you would have good news. I don't think you were naive for thinking your first go would work .. I think it's a privilege of being an IVF virgin to be a little optimistic. I'm so sorry about your BFN .. I really hope your FET brings you your little miracle.
Oh Janee...i'm so sorry sweetheart. As much as we all hope that this would have been your month, know that how ever many cycles it takes, that we are all going to be here for you, for as long as it takes. Take care of you and look forward to the next transfer with as much enthusiasm as you did this cycle. Love ya hun...

janee: i just wanted to add. We are almost at the beginning of our first ivf cycle and as much as i keep telling myself that chances are it wont work first time, i am still secretly sure it will. Does that make sense?
So when i do see another bfn i will be just as devestated as you. We are only human--wonderful women at that and we cant help our feelings and who would we be without any optimism? :hug:

I'm feeling really nervous and a bit confused - had mild AF like cramping yesterday but nothing at all today hmmmmm the mind wanders....I think I'm reading too much into it - but I can't help it. BT on Monday so desperately trying to stay away from the HPT's in the supermarket - although I do walk past them and linger for a while kind of wondering what if??? Nah - I'll try to stick it out and keep myself occupied.....Much Love to all

Janee, just wanted to let you know that IVF is very much a numbers game & success may come when it may seem unlikely too.
Don't feel that an FET has any less likelyhood of success. I personally have only been successful on FETs (even though m/c) & I have seen many a lady pass on through these forums from FET success. FETs are a little less pressure on your body
Take care of yourself, enjoy those 'forbidden foods' & especially give your family lots & lots of hugs.

I had the blood test this morning, so now I'm just waiting to hear the results. The nurse said to phone about 3pm, or if they're available earlier, they'll ring me. I haven't POAS yet .. the nurse was quite surprised about that, but I've just been too scared to. If it's going to be negative, I didn't want to know any earlier than I had to.
Sadly, about an hour after the blood test, I went to the toilet and had a tiny bit of spotting, so I'm feeling a little bit down about that. I know it can be normal in the first trimester, but it just seemed to be bad timing IYKWIM.

afer having some more bad news thrown at us this morning--- i know two bad things cant happen in one day!
im sure that test is going to be positive. chin up girlie :)

I too had my BT today. I have stayed away from the HPT's (how hard was that)..but like you cherie, I started some brownish type spotting last night (sorry if TMI). So now I am kind of thinking maybe this is not the cycle for us....I have also read on many sites that it may be quite normal to have some spotting but you still have a major stress fest don't you????? Now I have to sit back and wait for results this afternoon...will keep you posted.

Just jumping on very quickly to see what your BT results were Alex. Hunny, please don't feel that you have to hold back any good news because of my sad news ... I will be so absolutely thrilled for you if you got a BFP.
Guess what ... my younger sister phoned me tonight and told me that her boyfriend proposed to her last week, when they were over in Thailand on a holiday. I am so excited for her, and it has really lifted my spirits - it was really lovely to have to some good news to finish off today with.

Just a quick one to let you know that unfortunately we also did not have any luck this month. So I will be joining you all again for the next round. Sorry - I would have posted earlier but had to run off to work (shift work) right after I got my results, so I had to pull myself together rather quickly, but now that I'm home I can let it all out!!!
Feeling a bit down at the moment trying to deal with the emotions. I may have had my hopes up a little bit too high I think ! Anyway I hope everyone else is doing ok and here's to us all getting BFP's next time round. Thanks for all your support over the last few weeks.

Ok thats a good start :) when he explains what the nest steps will be, make sure you fully understand. my best advice for you would to ask questions- dont feel embarassed or intimidated. You need to be fully informed at all times :)

Hi Girls....sorry i've been MIA...i've been running the shop for the last few days (12 hrs straight each day) and was too buggered last night to turn the computer on....i just have to think though that this time in two weeks it's all over and i won't ever have to work in that stupid shop again!!!
