Beckie - AF arrived for my on Sunday arvo too - and so sick from it this month! Does anyone know how soon after having a lap/hys you can start trying again???
Tammara - sorry to hear the BFN - hopefully AF don't arrive for you though.

So we are insync again this month,cool!
My FS said you can BD as soon as you feel ok to do so, i thought id OV 3 days after op so we dtd then and i was fine but all FS are different i suppose.
ALso as AF arrived for me sun PM does that mean that today is day 1? I need ot start my clomid on day 2 so im a little confused......
Good luck with the op, i was fine after about 2 days and back at work and ive had 3 laps but the shoulder tip pain is a doosie!
Hi Beckie - I have checked this one out, as I have had this question of my FS before. Even though you get your AF in the pm (which I did too), it is still classified day one yesterday - so today is day 2.
I am not taking chlomid this month, as i have to wait for a natural AF after my lap, I am a bit nervous as to what they will find, but hopefully nothing~

Thanks for that, i took my first tablet last night, i heard they are much better when taken at night, heres hoping!
With regards to lap, i had one back in 06 and was pg the next month so i myself have alot of faith in the old lap, i have endo so a good clean out helps i think.

just popping in to let you know AF came today so im onto round two of the clomid tomorrow (i think, better check the box) so even though no pregnancy im happy that AF came so i know - hope- i will be regular-ish :)

Oh my goodness - my Fs has said I can get copies of photos from my lap, if I want!!!! Not sure about that. Has anyone else?
Hi 31Becc...When i had my lap in aug 08 i received photos.Not very pretty and had to have it all explained to me as to what,was what.Just a messy blob of yuk was what i thought but the surgeon said "its beautiful"........flowers are beautiful,not my insides as far as im concerned.LOL
Ok so on day 28.. I was feeling sik yesterday and found a hpt at home & i couldnt resist. I got a bfn, but i'm hoping that day 27 was just to early to tell, i promised myself i wouldnt do one but i gave in. My cycle is usually 32 days. ???

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me with a question in regards to Clomid. I have recently had a lap/D&C mid cycle and had bleeding for a week after. The FS has given me Clomid which I will be taking on days 2-6. I found the bleeding stopped the day before my cycle was to start, and its day 3 now and still no witch. Does anyone know if I should wait until the witch starts before taking Clomid or has the D&C removed the lining of the uterus and theres nothing left to shed, so hormone wise I would now be on day3 of my cycle now? Any advice on what to do would be appreciated, I am a little confused what to do after my operation, what to expect, and when the witch will return.
Please help me out, I'm a bit worried and don't know what to do.

Not much to add for me, im on CD8 so too early for anything,although i have had no side affects this month from the Clomid,took it at night this month,sooooo much better.
I actually just had a weekend away with the girls, it was so nice to have a break except one of the girls announced she was pregnant a few days before we left,she only started trying last month so that was hard to deal with especially as she was drinking and smoking all weekend,it was so hard for me to shut my mouth! Oh well each to their own right???
I hope you are all doing ok this cycle and im praying to see loads of BFP on here!:D:D:D
Beckie~ How hard for you having a friend announce her pregnancy THEN continue to drink and smoke.I understand it would have been hard to not say anything...i would have slapped her.Some people dont appreciate what they have.Sorry to be nasty but its true.
I get disgusted in pregnant women who take it for granted and put the health of their unborn baby at risk.

Wish i had some time away.Im at day 22 so one week to go.Really tired,needing a sleep every afternoon,quite emotional and very sore nipples and breasts.Probably AF making its ugly appearance in a weeks time.Fighting with DH and every thing feels like it falling apart.NOT HAPPY JAN!:(
Well girls - I am back at work today! - don't know why as I am still in a bit of pain from my lap/hys dye thing - well results were "apparently I have some of the best tubes the doctor has ever seen"!! and they couldn't find anything wrong - I am glad there is nothing wrong - but it doesn't tell me why I haven't been able to fall yet! I will get some more answers when i go back this week (it is really doing my head in and also sitting around doing not much was not helping!)
Oh - and my sister ( who does know we are having problems) announced she was preggies to me yesterday - she did it in a nice way and thought she should tell me - I am very happy for her - but it has upset me a bit.
Beckie - I can soooo understand where you are coming from - it peeves me too but each to their own.
Welcome Lioness - I would ring your FS to find out exactly what you should be doing.
i think any normal person (trying to concieve or not) would feel like slapping her for the drinking and smoking, so dont feel bad. Glad you are not getting any side effects - fingers crossed i have not had any effects from the clomid, the only thing i could say is i have been quite emotional and my moods have been a bit switchy but nothing too bad.
Good news about your tubes becc lets hope there are some BFP SOON!
i feel you girls when people are anouncing they are preggers while you so desperately want one, when i had my mc my friend was 8 months and i could not bring myself to go see her before and after the baby was born. I had to finally email her and tell her why i had been avoiding her.
I am in a very positive place this month so i think we will all become baby buddies :)

Tammara - yes that was my final vent - only positive thinking for me from now on too (even though it is pretty hard to do).

my update...af due on friday i think and...my husband just left me on our 7 yr anniversary...today.
I agree about the positve vibes, i am being so positve that this month is my month!
I am using the Pre seed, DH is on the Menevit and im doing everything i can this month so fingers crossed....
Im glad your feeling better Bec and it is good news all is good for you although it is hard when there is no answer. I was actually so happy when they told me my cervix was blocked, it gave me an answer so to speak. I hope when you go back to Dr they can give you more info for peace of mind.
Im on CD 9 so trying to chill out until the BD fest begins in a few days and the the dreaded 2ww but i wil lbe trying to chill out as last month i went insane so im going to try and keep so busy this month to help make it go quicker and itgs my birthday on June 12th and im due around the 16th so im hoping for a wonderful birthday pressie.

Hey Frustrated - month 3 might be it.
I went back to the FS yesterday - and they have given me the OK to do up to 3 more cycles of chlomid - then it is onto IUI. apparently there is a higher percentage of people that fall BFP after having the dye - so fingers crossed - now all I have to do is wait for a natural AF to begin - so a few weeks away I am guessing.
Hope there are some BFP this month.

I am thinking that i wont have any luck this month as hubby is away working till next friday so i think timing wise it is not going to work. Unfortunately he is working away quite a bit so i think the best thing for us to do is try the clomid another month then if nothing i might look into ivf.
Has anyone looked into this? i think (hope) i only need to use it for the freezing of sperm - because we cant guarantee when he is home and implanting. I have looked at the website but it is a bit confusing to work out cost involved with all the medicare rebates and health insurance, i just want to know how much is the most it will cost if anyone can help me out or explain it to me :)

I had the dye test done before i started on the chlomid, unfortunately it hasnt made it any easier for me 2 fall, but they did tell me it could as it clears out anything that may be causing blockages in your tubes.. Good luck.. babydust
Tammara :- Not sure with the health insurance etc..But im pretty sure its between $6000-$8000 that it costs up front then medicare will cover some, so you will get a little back. ( Not the doctor fee's), i am not in a health fund so i'm not aware of the amount that is covered by that.

Tammara - IUI - is where they insert his stuff into your uterus - that is the step before IVF - it is cheaper too.

i just called monash ivf and the person i spoke to was not terribly helpfull. If i do just have the sperm frozen and then implanted i think it will be $1372 for the implantation (then you get medicare rebate) and the freezing is $132. So if this is correct then it is not too bad at all.
If i have to go through everything it will be in excess of $4500 (not including rebate) so even if i have to go down this path then it will be so worth it, and it gets cheaper due to the medicare safety net.
I think the best thing for me to do is book an appointment with my fs and if this month is not my month then have a good chat with him and see what he thinks
Tammara - I was so glad I went back to my FS yesterday - I got a lot of answers to a lot of things, which were up in the air. So it was good.
Like... I get extremely painful hips and back around certain times of the month, which previously I & FS thought was endo - but my doctor explained that there are apparently 3 types of women - ones who can't feel ovulation, ones who can and my case extreme sensitivity with ovulation. So thank goodness that was answered.

Im on CD16 and got a postive OPK last night and im having some pretty full on OV pains today so im hoping OV will be today!
Im feeling so good this month on the Clomid,no side effects at all and i mean none,its so much better taking them at night....
I will be testing on June 12th, not due to 16th but 12th is my birthday and i have the early tests so bring on a birthday BFP:D:D:D

nothing is changed with me, waiting on a call back from FS office to make an appointment to see him about IVF or implanting, hope i get a call soon.

ATM - I am just crusing along waiting for AF to arrive end of next week or something. I have no idea when that will happen.
Good luck for your next cycle 31becc, the dye did the trick for me, hopefully does the same for you. Can I ask a question, is there a reason why your de hasn't increased your clomid dosage at all? I was under the impression that it is consistently monitored and up after a couple of unsuccessful attempts?

Ella'smum - dr hasn't increased my dosage because the current dose is making me ovulate and I am releasing about 2 eggs a month from that. So it is working in that sense, it is after that, that is the problem. I will put that question to them though and find out.
Ellasmum - you got me thinking so I rang my FS - the reason is, is that I am definately responding to the medication ie having two dominent follicles and ovulating. So didn't need to put my medication up to a higher dosage.

I hope everyone is having a good month!
I am now up to CD20 and im already starting to symptom spot. I think i OV CD16 or 17 so very early days just yet. I am having major cramps (but thinking that may be due to Clomid) TMI - very gassy and i woke up yesterday with alot of nasal congestion,which i had with last DD (first time this has happened whilst TTC) So its not much really but it has got me thinking but so has every other month for the past 10 months ha ha.....
Im trying to stay positive but its so hard,DH an di had a huge fight last night and he said i only have until July to be pg or thats it,wow that really knocked me for six. So im having a very down day today and to top it off a girl in my Playgroup had her baby yesterday and i have to go to hosptial today to visit,i used to get upset but i have had 3 friends have babies in the last month so i think i am immune to it now.
I hope you girls are having a much better month than me and we really need to see some Clomid BFPs, i need hope :pray::pray::pray:
