So what is EWCM? im not as cluey as you Gals.. im guessing its Lube, & i did read somewhere that it helps sperm slide (Kelli's words exactly lol)
No i dont think PCOS is Heriditary, my sis took maybe a year to concieve with her 15month, but that was bcos of her irregular periods, with her 2nd it was almost as soon as she started, i wasnt happy but now i have 2 adorable neices i adore! :p
Kelli, so how is your new house? i understand what you mean, we just bought a new house too earlier this year, & as much as i love it, the joy of a baby id love more.

Yes i think a break is what we all need.. Plus we'd be on holidays with my family around the time of DTD so that wouldnt be so comfy.. :dance:

re: the cyst when i had my ovarian drilling the Dr said there was a cyst there and they took it off but said that wouldnt have been the problem so i would say no but its always worth asking FS about things - everyone is different.
As for me AF came yesterday so i started my injections today and go have ultrasound wednesday and see how my folicles are going so fingers crossed they are big fat jucy ones lol

Be careful with using lube...my FS said even if it's marketed as being fertile friendly, it's best to use nothing, which for me can make DTD a bit uncomfortable unless it's right on O Day. EWCM is egg white cervical mucus - the stuff that indicates you are about to O. I don't get much - some women get heaps. I was using Preseed in the early days (It's expensive!) and there are a couple of other ones on the market now. I even contemplated using raw egg white as this is supposed to be the best alternative, but couldn't bring myself to do it!
Tammara - hope the injections do their job this time. Hope you're not feeling too down about getting AF - I know I always have a little weep when she arrives.
Yes, I agree Jess, we need to give ourselves a break on LTTTC over xmas. It can be such a constant burden at times! I have Yoga Teacher training exams for the next 2 weeks so at least that will help distract me while I'm in the 2WW from this last round of Clomid. I'm due to O any day now and have been having O pains, so fingers crossed and I should know if it worked just before xmas. Otherwise I'm going to let my hair down for xmas and NYE!

Thanks Mez, but im kind of glad i got it so i can start this step and i have decided if nothing happens with my folicles in a couple of weeks im going to talk to FS about ivf, im nearly 35 and i know they say 35 and over is even harder to concieve so im trying to do as much as i can to help

Thank you all for your help with my Cyst problem, ive still had some discomfort & i dont see it settling, but ive booked myself with my FS maybe she can enlighten me a bit, Glad to hear that it shouldnt affect falling pregnant.
What does Ovarian drilling do? & Implantation, is that AI?
Today has been a bit of a depressing day, for no other reason than this. Everyone that walks past is pregnant, so i think i see on average about 50woman walking past with beautiful baby bellies.. i do think they are beautiful, (even if they give us Stress Marks)
Cant seem to think about much else these days, not even shopping Helps :shakehead:

Hey Jess, what’s up love? Are you ok? I’m sending you big cuddles through the net right now. I’m still confused about PCOS not being hereditary, cos if it’s not then my sister and I are just extremely unlucky cos we both have PCO. Jess maybe your sisters irregular periods was to do with PCO, well done to her if she had two babies naturally anyway. Do you know if she’s ever been tested? House is going well, we are both very happy and much more settled in there now as it is our own. How about yours?
Good luck with the injections Tamarra, please give me all the details. I’d love to know more about it and how it all goes, side effects etc.

Basicly what they do is drill little holes into the ovary - to me it looks like they are using a soldering iron and burning a hard boiled egg lol
And as for what it does i think it just helps the eggs come out my mind is gone at the moment but it just helps the eggs release therefore in theory help you fall preggers. Something must be going ok with me cos since i had it done ive had 2 periods .
And the injections are to help me produce folicles the injections themself are no problems at all the thing that i really dont like are the internal ultrasounds last lot of injections i think i had at least 5 of them within 2 weeks - not painfull just not terrible comfortable as im sure you all know. so hopefully this wednesday when i have my first ultrasound the folicles willl be a good size then i have to take a different needle - this one makes me ovulate (i think) then its hubbys turn to give a sample then it is put in me and fingers crossed.

Hi everyone....so i took my 3rd lot of clomid this month my gyn said only to take half a tablet so i did. I went back to see about 2 weeks ago and he told me maybe the half tablet lowered my progesterone again he said it should be around 70 or 80 any way went for a blood test on day 21 and my results were 120 again!!! This was the result when i first took a full 50mg tablet so thats quite high i have 27 day cycles they are like clockwork but woke up this morning and nothing yet...trying not to get excited....:)

I don't know about you girls but I am sick of getting needles in this whole LTTTC journey - especially because I'm a frequent fainter! I just keep telling myself it's for our future baby, but needles still suck!
I'm 4 days into my 2WW. If AF doesn't come in another 7 days I'll be hopeful as she usually arrives 11 days after O time. I've just started a 7 days straight in my yoga studio as I finish off exams to become qualified as a yoga teacher, so that's helping to keep me distracted from thinking about the possibilities...

I'm currently on cycle 5 with Clomid. We've been TTC since February 2009. So about 10 months. So far the clomid has been working each cycle but alas no pregnancy as yet. I've been diagnosed with PCOS.
I'm booked in to have a Laparoscopy done in January 2010 to see what is happening with my tubes (I think they are blocked). Hopefully we can get UTD before the op. I don't hold high hope for that though.
I'm very frustrated with this process at the moment. I guess I just want answers like every body else who has fertility issues.
I'm currently CD19 and this week it's all about the BDing . Tomorrow is the last day that I should O. I'm not having my normal BT this cycle as I'm really only on Clomid to keep my cycles regular and ready for this lap. And the FS didn't give me any pathology requests lol. So hopefully this month goes quickly and we can hurry the answers up a little.

Hi everyone....so something like a period arrived 2 days late.....i woke up on monday and had a bit of spotting i had slight cramps and not a usual heavy flow it was sort of pale pink mostly when i wiped (sorry) this lasted most of the day but i got up this morning and nothing.... then today it has been slight spot and mostly when i wipe its pale pink not like a uaual period at all. Has anyone experienced this on clomid? I am not sure if its just because of the medication that its so light....i did have really sore nipples and my boobs ached for a few days but that has settled they are just a bit swollen. Any explanations would be appreciated!?! :wall:

Todays my 27th day, though i already know i am not pregnant so i dont have any hopes up, last week when i had my Ultrasound that found the Cyst on my ovary they didnt find that i was pregnant & i also had a pregnancy test, i guess this way is better cos im not holding onto hope. But now im understanding more why my periods on Clomid have been excrutiating.

Bella have you done a preg test just in case, if you get lines, even faint, ring your doctor and get a blood test ASAP. Do this before starting another round of clomid though.

had my ultrasound today and nothing is going on with me so it seems all the needles and operation have done nothing :( needless to say im pretty upset with things feels like everything ive done has been a big waste of time. I see the dr about ivf monday but to be honest ive had such an emotional year i feel like just giving up on everything and coming to terms that it will probably never happen

Tammara... I'm sending a big virtual hug to you! What an emotional rollercoaster. Hope you are treating yourself to something nice, although I do know that chocolate, warm baths and cuddles from those you love don't always ease the pain...but they are worth trying!
Bella...could it be implantation bleeding??? Or perhaps just spotting? I don't have heavy periods on clomid (never did before clomid either) and often spot for up to 4 days before my period. Deffers do a preggo test before starting clomid again. Crossing my fingers for you that it's implantation bleeding.
Porsche...here's hoping you get UTD so you don't have to have a lap. I'm in the same situation. Hopefully my AF doesn't arrive as scheduled in a week's time. The 2WW is torture!

Thanks for the virtual hug. and i have had some chocolate and a relaxing drink along with a big cry. Only thing missing is a big hug from hubby who is about 400 kms away :( oh well cant get everything i guess.
