i did it for both preggo- you have to take you temp every day at the same time. you get use to it butwith both i saw temp spikes and i new there would be a good chance- jsut helpe me out

Well i am up to day 16 and am sure i have ovulated.I have had surges on day 11,14,15 but my nipples have become slightly sensitive today.Thats my usual sign.I usually get tender nipples at ovulation.The only thing is i have had very sharp stabbing pains at my right side at 7 pm on day 14,then the same side again but EXTREMELY sharp at 11pm last night.This morning my LEFT side is tender and had some pain there too.Its all very odd.Has anyone else experienced pain on both sides while ovulating and/or oes anyone else ever get + surge results several times?
My husband is starting to believe im ovulating several times...i wish.;)
Im hoping this works...i really do.Its been 5 years trying now and 5 months since my surgery to correct my infertility.Fingers crossed.

Welllllllllllll guess what?......I had my ultrasound today and i have 2 mature eggs yeha woohooo.:dance:... One each on both sides with supporting follicles whatever that means FS thinks I will o over the weekend i did another opk this afternoon and it was neg but my one this morning pos so I go with that one. Fs thinks i will release both as they are both the correct size to be released so now it is up to catching them. so its lots of BD for us over the weekend. FS said Bd tomorrow and sun i asked abnout tonight and he said for recreation yeahn why not!!! gotta laugh :lol:
FS did ask me if twins would be an inconvience not that there is a 100% chance but he said that the odds are quite high and if twins would not be 'conviencent' ( it wasn't this word but its what he meant)then to wait till next cycle and we go down to 25 mg of clomid. Told him we just got our 8 seater car and twins wouldn't be an issue allwe want is for then and us to be healthy.
So went and had a lovely massage this afternoon and thought about my eggs releasing ....I need a life :rofl: so heres to::fertilise:

Had the blood teast yesterday- fingers crossed I ovulated.
Been really worried I am overstimulated- very sore tummy- feels very bloated- more than usual for my period, and bad constipation only relieved by my new friend nulax
Been looking up pregnancy symptoms since its been 2 years since I last had them and apparently every pregnancy if different.- done two urine preg tests but both negative but its way too early to tell but I couldn't help myself- what a waste hey?
having pcos I'll not know when my period should be if I don't get it so I'm not sure when to consider it 'missed' as I can go a couple months without a period easily.
I got told if I get my peiod it means I ovulated.
I was on 100mg of clomid and was naughty with metformin- it ran out and I can't find my refil prescription and haven't had time to see the doc.
Plus I have sinuscitis which I think is contributing to my fatigue but I'm more tired than normal even with that.
Anyone else over stimulated ovaries? do you have to do anything about it? can it damage or ruin your ovaries? How to you know for sure? will it show on the blood test?
This forum has been a fantastic outlet for me as nobody else seems to understand and after the last time I got pregnant I'm not keen on telling veryone right away.

I am 28, TTC and have PCOS.
Diagnosed in Feb after almost a year of horrible 100+ day cycles, I took 50mg for my first month, and am now onto 100mg for days 2-6. I had a good 20mm follicle at my last FS appointment 2 weeks ago, blood tests have confirmed Ovulation, currently i am on CD26 hoping that it will only be a 28-29 day cycle.
Not sure if its just the clomid and the hormones kicking into my system or something else, but i have had really sore nipples for over a week now, slight cramping and nausea over the last week too, and horrible pimples! Is this normal after ovulation? I am trying not to read too much into things and get my hopes up, I did a test last night and nothing but its probably just too early.
I am hoping to find a few of you out there to talk to, just dont want to feel alone in this situation anymore ;)
Hi,I too am on clomid and have read everything about the side effects.What you have mentioned..pimples,sore breasts,cramping etc are common when taking clomid.They are also signs of intending period and also pregnancy.Try to relax.Its stressful not knowing what symptom is what especially as the symptoms are pretty much all the same as another.Everytime i ovulate even when im not on clomid my breasts become tender with really sore nipples,i get moody and crampy.This usually lasts until my next period....poor hubby of mine.;) And im on clomid this month and have just ovulated.My nipples are really tender already and i already lost my temper badly today....stupid dog house i was trying to build.:rolleyes:

1 word of advise if any, take the clomid at night with dinner.
I did it this month and I wasn't at all moody, didnt get half as many pimples and had no tummy pain/sore boobs.
The other 2 times I had clomid I had it with breaky and it was like I was a hormonal teeneger again with all of the symptons.

with DD took at nite -ssssssssoooooooo much bettter- it's the first piece of advise i gave to my met/clomid girls!!

After a long wait my doc prescribed provera to bring on AF so that I could start taking clomid. After 9 days it finally started (light). Now it seems to have stopped.
I was told to take it days 1-5 but Af seems to have stopped after only two days of very light flow. Can anyone tell me if this is normal and if I should continue taking the clomid. AF normally lasts much longer than this and is heavier. I'm really not sure what to do.
Good luck to everyone I hope the side effects aren't getting to you. I have been taking the clomid at night but am finding myself very teary...embarrassing as I am staying with my sister in QLD on Hols.

I did a HPT this morning and got another BFN, Today is CD 28, and since about an hour ago I have been getting AF type pains, so i think its safe to say we wont be having a bubba this year :( on the bright side there is always next month!
I was going to try taking clomid at night this time and since you have all recommended it I def will. My side effects are horrible, I am as vauge as hell, coming out with some doozies of sayings and doing really weird things and i get light headed and feel preety flat so if i could sleep through the worst of that i would be happy.

i tookmy first dose of clomid last night and allthough it is early, dont feel anything. I am mental on good days so i hope i dont get side effects like Avonlea lol
Hey Girls - wow I have missed a lot over the weekend with the posting!
Well AF arrived on Friday evening - I knew it must have been coming because I was feeling ready to k... someone in the afternoon!!
Anyway, so starting my next #5th attempt at clomid tomorrow, my FS cannot understand why I am not BFP yet, as I have been Oing every month BD when supposed and extra! and releasing at least 2 eggs each time. They have a feeling my tubes could be blocked or have endemetri (can't spell it!)...... So I have this attempt and if I am not by a certain date I have another appointment with my FS and he will do the dye blast and schedule me in for exploratory surgery - laprocomy or whatever. Anyone had one of these? How full on are they?

i have had a hsg/levovist - not to bad. dye inserted into my uerus thru my tubes to see if any blackages?? havent had surg though.
Hi Girls,Referring to Bec asking about the dye blast known as Hycosy (for short) i had one done and it kinda hurt! They usually give you some pain killers before hand.It showed up on me that one tube was clear and the other had a slight delay (time of when the dye flows out the other end of the tube but nevertheless they told me thay were both clear.......NOT correct. 2 years later i had my Laparoscopy (last August) and was found to have had BOTH tubes blocked and Ashermans syndrome (scarring in the uterus and adhesions caused by sons caesarean 12 years earlier):confused:.Lap wasnt too bad...bit uncomfortable from all the gas they put in your abdomen but felt ok 4 days later.( i react to anaesthetic)
Anyhow i am upto day 19 and think i ovulated 4 days ago.Had tender nipples for 2 days but now nothing except a bit of tearfullness which hubby is annoyed with.:(
Well at least the sickness,headaches and sharp twinges at ov have stopped.Now it is the long ttw.

Rang up the gyno today and clomid payed off- ovulation score of 105 so I may even have more than one egg- not sure how they test but the nurse said the sore was really high. So HPT next week and I should know for sure if it really really worked. Fingers and toes crossed:pray::p

First up I'd like to thank everyone for the advice about taking clomid at night..... I'm on day 4 ( cycle day 6) of taking it and have maybe had 1 hot flush, that's it. To be quite honest the whole clomid thing has been a complete non event!

Can a score of 105 in a blood test on day 21 for progesterone mean I could have twins? or at least have released more than one egg? Would be cool if i am just really curious. So tempted to do a HPT in case- but two docs have said I should wait a week.

im on my 4th day of the clomid and have had no side effect as discussed by other girls, until tonight. I have been sitting here chatting with an old friend listening to music and just got realy teary - dont know if it was the song that reminded me of my cousins death anniversary or the clomid but other than that things have been good. I appreciate the advice for taking it at night.

Congrats on the test result.
I asked my FS yesterday about the score levels and twins etc... as I released two eggs but he said that even if I released two or more catching them all is harder and the odds are relatively lowish. I am hoping we caught one at least so :crossfingers: i am on the TWW now with you....

MRZbaBy~ I am on the ttw with you too.Im at day 21.Had a tiny bit of cramping last night.Not sure what to think of that as i ovulated on day 14/15.Not sure if implantation might cause a bit of cramping??? Did anyone have cramping 5-7 days after ovulation???
I am starting to get paranoid now,checking every symptom i get.I know that all symtoms of pms and pregnancy are the same but not sure about the light cramps.Any help would be great.

Twins would be great- and I just got told the score of 105 not how many eggs I released so it may still be one (the nurse was quite short with me on the phone, I didn't get time to process it and ask questions). Whole idea of this was to at least have one child as well as to ovulate at least once. I'm glad clomid made my bit work properly- does feel a bit unnatural and a bit like cheating but when I think about it all clomid did was make my body do what other people's bodies do without help so its not too bad. I had horrible side effects- cramping and bloating were horrible. On top of it all I have sinusitus right now so I feel incredibly sore and stuffed up in the head (hopefully that doesn't ruin any possible chance of pregnancy- gosh I'm paranoid!).
Fingers crossed for you all- I hope at least one of us get a possitive result as it will make the rest of us more hopeful- this thread has help me so much, so thank you to all who have contributed.

Fistly Becc, I had the dye test done real early one when they were testing me and my dh to see if there were any major probs, my FS warned me that this test can be very uncomfortable and cause quite a bit of discomfort so advised me to take nurofen plus before hand, which i did and then didnt feel anything while the test was being done except for a little tingle when you could feel the stick like thing being put there.. Good luck!.

Ok so im up to day 32 now ( After 1st Chlomid round) I had light bleeding ( Kinda just brown blood) on day 27.I have been waiting for a call from my FS for the past week as i was unsure whether to start my chlomid based on light bleeding for 1/2 day. As i still have not heard i thought i should hold off. I called this morning and spoke to his secretary and she told me my day 21 levels were def 45 and asked if i had done a hp test i did one on day 24 ( i no way to early ) and said that i did one yesterday ( i forced myself to go to the toilet coz i was a bit to excited and wanting to see if i was p right away) i explained this to her and said that i was unsure if it worked properly as the purple surge that comes over the result window tool about 30 sec before it slowly went over ( usually covers straight away), she said that my fs would def call me today and thinks he will make me do a blood test .
i ran out of Metformin tab's about 1 week ago and only got more yesterday im wondering if this would have an effect on getting my AF.?? I have no idea what to think anymore. I havent had any sight effect's but for he past week and half have been getting really hot flush's. So confused right now :dunno:

Ellianna - that is a pretty high score - could mean that you released more than one egg - I have been up around the 70 mark and those times I have released 2 eggs - so maybe you released 3!!
Frustrated, i don't know why my specialist wanted me on chlomid for 4 months and then do the dye - but that is the way he wants. I have to do a blood test the day before i am due for the dye - it will be day 27 so should show some kind of results. I just wish it was now that I could do it. hate waiting for appointments!

Anyone else peeing a lot more after clomid? I can't even seem to get through a whole night lately with out needing a pee- so annoying but maybe it means good news? Will all this waiting never end?

Don't start your clomid if you have not had a real period start, remember it could be implantation bleeding and starting clomid if you are pregnant is a no-no...Remember that the clomid gives the same side effects as being preg so just wait it out and take another test or get tested at the doctor's office, but don't start clomid until you're sure it didn't work. I thought clomid didn't work for me either and was waiting forever for a period so I could start the next round...turns out I O'ed late and got pregnant...so be careful not to take clomid unless AF arrives.:

Yes,Ellieanna,I havnt stopped going to the toilet! I go at least 8 times and hour.Its driving me nuts.I was reading the info sheet that came with the clomid and this is a side effect.
Becc:- Hopefully you wont have to do the dye test. If your only on day 6 of your cycle fingers crossed your little miracle happens this month.:crossfingers: They have to wait till the end of your cycle to make sure your not Pg, they cant do the dye test if you are...

Just tested morning wee and got a negative result- hopefully its still too early to tell, and maybe i ovulated late. Hopefully don't begin to bleed within the next few days- I'll test again next week- and then I'll get a blood test maybe. I dunno what to do. Got a high progesterone reading and lots of symptoms but still no positive result and its my 28th day of my cycle. Doesn't look good. I am glad I at least ovulated. Not looking forward to another round of clomid though. I have a cold too which I hope hasn't ruined my chances- anyone else starting to get frustrated with their own body?
Frustrated - yeah I know, I have to have a blood test the day before heading to the doctors for the dye, I will be up to day 27 of my cycle and they said that pregnancy should come up on a blood test by that date. So I have my fingers crossed! I am getting a bit over the chlomid, but at least I will get some more answers when I go back to the FS.
Today is day 22.I had cramping yesterday from the previous night which has subsided.Felt really nauseated til lunchtime today.Felt so sick in my stomach i thought i was going to really be sick.My husband wont let me test until im due.He doesnt want me getting my hopes up just yet.Im keepimg calm as i have said time and time again that all the side effects mimic the symptoms of pregnancy and also pms.
One more week to go.....days are going so slow.Sooo tired.Cant function.Almost strained noodles onto the kitchen bench last night instead of the sink!:doh:

Just a little update as to what is going on with me
I had my HSG today, was not as bad as i though. there was some discomfort but no pain as such so that was good. I think i was lucky to have all women working with me :)
Good news, the dr said that my tubes were good the dye was flowing through both tubes so fingers crossed for this month :)

Everything is going well here...Thanks so much for asking;) - I am very very tired and had a spotting scare for about a week and a half...I thought it was over before it began, but I called the doctor and I am now taking progesterone tablets on top of the met and all the vitamins...Doesn't help keep food down in the morning all those pills...
I am still very nervous but am trying to take care of myself and relax and rest well. I am a complicated preg so have to see the doc every two weeks...kind of annoying, but at least helps to keep my mind at ease...and I get photos of bub every two weeks - trying to see things on the positive side :) I am nearing 7 weeks now, so nowhere near the clear, but am happy nonetheless and trying to function with the nausea and exhaustion...DH is being great and I am just going day by day for now.
I see the doctor again on the 4th, so I'll let you guys know how everything goes and I'll have another scan, so hope all goes well.
I keep up with all of you girls on a daily basis :) and I know we will have some good news from some of you very soon!!!!

Quick update;
Had my hsg today, can't say it was a fun thing to be doing but hey it's all part of it, anyway the doctor (and nurses) were very happy about the results being that there are no blockages and have given me a big fingers crossed see you in a month for your first ultrasound (she was very friendly and up beat!). Will certainly be very nice if that's the case.
Still not feeling any side effects of the clomid, am wondering when they start to kick in! Has anyone in here ever not ovulated after taking clomid, or can I expect to get a very very "full" feeling in the next couple of days?
Whats the test that you get to see if you've ovulated or the ovulation "score" I think someone called it in a previous thread that indicates how many eggs you've released?
I hope everyone is doing good at whichever point they're at!
Now back to concentrating on 15 days of some solid bd'ing, (I think I'm going to get sick of dh very quickly, haha, poor thing being treated like a piece of meat).
