Thanks N2L, I know that now is not the time to make decisions and we need to talk to the FS. I have been wondering what the threshold is for determining repeated IVF failure. If it is 14, do you know if is it at that point that they recommend PGD? I'm with IVF Australia and they offer something they call Advanced Embryo Selection but it is an additional $3000 which isn't covered at all by Medicare or health funds. The financial side of all this is starting to become an issue too. I've gone back to uni and I'm only working part-time and DH works in not-for-profit so isn't on big money. There's only so long we can keep this up.

I'm with Melbourne IVF. Apparently 14 is when they say you should start thinking about donors, etc. They don't force you to stop or anything, and my FS said there are those who have success after 14.
I asked her about PGD. She said it was a waste of time (for me). But then I am 40, so 90 per cent of my eggs are rubbish anyway Maybe you should ask your clinic???
I know what you mean about the money. I have had five Stims and two FETs with no health insurance. It sure adds up
