The crinone is doing it's cramping (.Y.) tingling thing. This morning I had a sharp cramp in my tummy and I hope it's implantation pain.
My BT is scheduled for next Friday. I should have an idea by Tues/Weds as AF shows up exactly one week after transfer if it hasn't worked.
I'm out. AF arrived in the wee hours this morning with yucky cramps. I was expecting it though. Oh well, concentrating on losing weight at the moment - cant be pregnant while doing that!! :P Maybe my baby is waiting for a skinny mama before announcing its arrival Hope not - it might take a while
One kg down....1220174472103412073 to go!!
Good luck to everyone still in with a chance!!!!
Tei, Happybaby, TMS - I really, really, really hope it's your month
PS TMS - I have no actual cycle length when I am not medicated. It is all over the place. And, yes, I have lost about a kilo in the past four days. Eating like a pig! Hard to tell exact amount because of AF...Will stay in touch
Hi girls, i have just read all of the posts in this thread- i didnt know this thread was here! Just posted something similar in another forum but will transfer it here as i think its more relevant here. I too am amidst the ol tww at the mo- i had my ET 5 days ago and im having lots of cramping and the 'normal' cramping in the uterus that i get between ovulation and AF. Therefore there are no 'special' or 'abnormal' signs for me. Im naturally inclined to think that my lil 4-cell embryo has not stuck. Surely if it had, i would have different signs to what i normally get? Since having my lap 2 years ago i started getting pains and cramping between ovulation and AF, never had that before. And this same cramping is happening now just as it normally would every other month.....
So i have nothing to do but sit and wait another 10 days until the BT because i have absolutely no idea, my body is not telling me anything new. I havent been pregnant before, so ive got no idea what my body should be telling me. All i know is, at the moment, my body feels like it usually does before i get another disappointing AF.However i do feel that there is a bit more going on down there, but i have no idea what it is. Im trying to stay positive though and take it in my stride.......so im getting a mixture of mild to semi-severe cramping- what i normally get each cycle. Confusing!
I think Josie Jo your not too different from me timeline-wise- both waiting for the BT- mine is on the 28th. I have booked myself a holiday for 2 weeks, 2 weeks after the BT- so either way i have something else to look forward to......x

: I didnt press 'post'!
Just popping in to say cramping throughout the two week wait is entirely normal following an egg transfer.
The post transfer medications all cause cramping.
Oh ok i didnt really know that, i am on Crinone at the mo so im assuming this may cause cramping too, but my cramping 'patterns' are the same as usual, i.e. cramping immediately after ovulation, slight cramping then nothing, then about a week or so before AF severe cramping during the night that wakes me up. I got this last night which made me think its all over red rover. I slightly slackened off with my normal activities today as i felt a bit disappointed- couldnt go to yoga even and i never miss yoga. However i should stand tall and strong and dont think about it really....thanking you
Hi B! Well done finding the thread- they can hide around here can't they? Spoiled for choice! I've had no cramping at all...now I feel like I'm missing out! I've had heaps of other things to tide me over- most notably breasts so sore i can't lay on my tummy comfortably to get a massage- which is just plain cruel! And no yoga for you? How's a girl to relax?? Hopefully things will settle down (in a good way!) and you'll be able to go back to it.
We are at similar stages. My BT is this friday and I'm both dreading it and extremely anxious for it's arrival- just so I know if it worked or not. I'm trying to decide when to do a HPT cause I want to have an idea of what's going to happen on friday, but again, I don't want to know if it's no- I'd rather live in a world of make-believe. It's made it a loooong two weeks. I was talking to a friend and started crying and couldn't stop for ages the other night...sigh. I was doing such a good job of coping up until then too! I wonder if it's the crinone? Stupid emotional and teary side effects!
Coral I'm glad you're still around. I am excited to see how you go.
Saffy, sounds like promising implantation cramping I always had mild cramps around this time when i've fallen pg before...i have a really good feeling for you!
Wish i could say the same for me though not positive at all this time as already preparing for a negative. In crazy mixed-up way of thinking i'm half hoping for a negative so as to not risk another possible miscarriage!!!...its a f&%*ed way of thinking really and i honestly wonder why we keep pushing on, but then when i think of stopping all this ivf and walking away it really scares me!!! To think that its a very real possibility that i may NEVER have a baby, NEVER carry a pregnancy to term and feel a little person kicking inside me and NEVER having that special bond between mother & baby...well i just honestly dont know how i will live the rest of my life with such a big dark hole in my heart. I know that the pain of that loss will never go away and then i get pi$$ed off at the universe for doing this to me!
Sorry for this downer post...i know this is probably not the best place to dump all this as i want to try and stay positive on here for everyone. Sorry.
Yogi Bear, I couldn't read and not reply hun (and I 'm just a stalker here so you probably don't know me ) I wanted to send you a big hug and tell you that I hope with all my heart that you will be able to realise your dream one day, hopefully soon. I have everything crossed for you and hope the universe is a little kinder to you
