    Hi All,

If it's ok, I would like to join this thread. To give you some info about me...

DH and I have been ttc since June 10. After 6 cycles we conceived in October only to mc in Dec. 4 cycles later we conceived again, to mc in May. I have been to see my gp who said, that the text book says 3 mc before they will do anything. I persisted and said that 2 was enough for me. So in June he sent me to a O+G specialist. He again repeated the "textbook says 3mc" line to me and I repeated "2 is enough". He sent me for some BT's which all came back -ve and said to come back when I am 13wks pg. This miffed me as I have never made it that far! So after 8 1/2 mths and no conception I have now made an appointment with a fertility specialist who was recommended to me by a friend. I have also made an appointment with a new gp. Any advice on this would be much appreciated...

Anyway, I am now in the tww and I'm not too hopeful. Almost lost hope. Every month I get the same symptoms whether I've conceived or not. So every month I get my hopes up to have them dashed! Over it! I usually have a 26 or 27 day cycle and its day 22 today.

I have been reading your posts. Sending your way!

    day one...... umm...... ....... ..... ......

    yep.... crazy already!!!

Even DH feels like this is the one..... for different reasons to I, and I have to tell you the story - cause it's quite amusing actually ...so

DH has a history of having 'boys' weekends on melbourne cup weekend every year - a couple of times, early in our relationship I went with him - but one of the "boys" (who I will add, is single, and will prob always be!) decided that he wouldn't go if there were 'girls'... so after a year of (not much) the boys have changed it to a fully boys weekend - and just the 4 of them now.... which is perfectly fine...
Melbourne Cup (long weekend down here), can be a 4 day weekend (if you take the monday as leave from work) so it's great time to do something different, they usually go 4wdriving (which I would lOVE to go, and feel like I get left behind by myself... but that's another story)

anyway..... I'm sure you can see know where I'm headed with this.... if our little 'blob' sticks this time.... he/she will be due mid - late october (I think the 25th officially)..... and um.... well DH can't plan a weekend away if I am
    a. in hospital still
    b. at home with a brand new baby (It would look bad if he went anyway!) and
    c.... well.... I'll have a new baby...!!!

so.... I just told DH "hmmm... I'll be looking forward to telling Roger if this one sticks".... and he came over, laughing (with pain!) and said "you're killing me.... you're killing me" then when I said "you know it'll happen" he said "I know!!!"

he actually said last week that it would be his luck that bub was born on that weekend and he'd have to move the weekend all together as he'd have to be around for birthday parties

ha ha..... seriously - if everything aligns (which in this case means - stuffs up all our plans!!) it will be so funny - and predictable....

    having said all that.....

11.31pm.... that means I have 12 and a half days to go....... omg... Blood test will be on friday 17th feb...... BUT if it's anything like last time - a BFN will show up well before that - AF is probably due 13th feb.... so maybe I only have a week (ish) to get through....

umm.... am thinking POAS will be in order.... I would LOVE to wait... but don't think I will be able to manage!!! (I'm NOT that patient!!!)

Myturn- I too am developing tww insanity. I'm pretty sure this one will stick just to stick to your dh's mate lol. My Dh is the same about his fishing weekends (thankfully I couldn't think of anything worse than fish guts so happy to stay home).

Afm I am about to head to the airport for 10 days working in Singapore and Brunei. Hopefully my mind will be to busy to continue this torture of maybe I am, maybe I'm not. The horrible part is I have to take my progesterone pessaries on ice in my hand luggage. Explaining that is going to be SO much fun. Oh the joys... Packing that plus tampons because af is likely to arrive before I get home just feels weird. Trying to stay positive but the truth is I don't see how this cycle could work when it is no different than the previous few attempts.

Hi to everyone else, on my phone and can only see myturns post but will get on my laptop at some stage and read up. Hugs to you all xxx

yep... that's what I think too...!!!

....(but crap... this is gunna be a bad month if I'm wrong!!!!!)

I do hope you are too busy to think about the TWW - and you don't need to explain anything (I guess unless they ask formally) you can just say it's medication that needs to be kept cold for a 'medical issue', and I reckon if they press for more information you can ask to go somewhere private to speak to them - you may not want perfect strangers to know your business and you are entitled to that privacy.... well.. that's what I think!!! Keep your chin up...... it may work just beacuse you are so distracted....

Hi myturn, congrats on being PUPO
Good luck everyone else I just love following you all, keeps me sane

I'm jumping on here for the shortest time ever. I'm at the end of the 2ww, I'm progesteroning right now (DP says it sounds like an Italian dish, ha ha) and am about to go in for my blood test. I have POAS twice and both were BFNs so I know what's coming unfortunately

    Oh and Keta,
I've taken progesterone pessaries lots of times on domestic flights in a cooler bag with an ice brick in my carry on luggage.
Security has never questioned it. Hopefully international will be the same My plan if they asked me was to give them so many details that they would be so embarrassed they would wish they never asked, ha ha ha!

    Hi girls.

Just popping in to say a big hello. I got home from the hospital yesterday arvo and was still pretty dopey from the anesthetic so I went back to sleep and didnt wake up until 5.30pm

I was a bit crampy last night and I have been for most of the day as well but im just hoping that is because they put my little embie up high in my uterus because I couldnt feel anything while I was knocked out

Terrible back ache last night but nothing a heat pack didnt fix. Just been tidying up around the house today and now just having a bit of a rest on the couch and recharging as SIL has invited herself around for dinner tonight....DH and I were meant to be going out for a romantic dinner for two so now that is out of the window. DH suggested we still go out and SIL just come along but she never ever pays her own way or even offers and it drives me mental so ive said no.

My turn - If all goes to plan then you and I will be due on the same day. Although I have been told that the ob that I am looking at using likes to induce IVF patients at 38 weeks so we will see what happens. I am praying this little embie sticks, we are off to Bali in March so I will be around 8 weeks and my other SIL will be around 20 weeks when we go, dont know how ill handle it if im not pregnant and she is

I have my blood test on the 15th Feb, the day after valentines day and the day before DH comes home from work. I have told DH that I will go and have the blood test dont and then wait to get the results when he comes home. But secretly im going to get the results and if I get a + test then I will write him a valentines day card and when he flies home from work we will go out for lunch and ill give it to him then saying here is you cared, sorry its a day late but your present will be 9 months late

I wish I had found this thread earlier! I'm half way through my TWW after having a frozen transfer last monday. My period is due Wednesday, but my blood test isn't till next Monday. Not sure why my test is so late after transfer. When I did my DD's cycle (3 years ago) my blood test was 11 days after transfer.

I have been feeling positive about this cycle all the way, and have been calm and feeling good. About Wednesday my boobs got really sore (and huge), and I developed a sore throat - my only early symptom with DD. I have been exhausted all week too.

Early this morning I had small pink spotting, then again mid-morning, then nothing for the rest of the day, then a bit more (and a bit heavier and more red, rather than pink, but still not heaps) this evening. I'm really really scared that this is leading towards a BFN. I'm surprised that I'm spotting so far out from my due date, but it seems to late for implantation spotting (doesn't it?).

Do you have any thoughts? I think I might call the nurses in the morning. What do you think? Ugh - it will be a LONG week if they still want me to wait to test next Monday!!!
