LTTTC Two Week Wait # 8

it's only day three, but I feel like I'm going to give SOMETHING away at work.... I don't know how I'll be expected to hold it in until APRIL!!!!

bah.... totally noticing the crinone side effects today... I feel like a sooky la la.. constipation still got a tender belly (although not TOO bad... still noticable...)

still think I'm probably just being a sook... but eh... cest la vie.... if AF arrives, she'll come on tuesday next week, as BT is friday, I should have a good idea of whether I'm UTD or not....

here's hoping I can keep busy for the next 11 days.

Hi all,

I'm hoping you don't mind if I join the 2ww here with you I had a Day 5 blast transferred today - my first ever FET after not being able to have a fresh transfer aft my first IVF cycle last November, due to threatened OHSS.

So I have been waiting just over 3 months for today to arrive. We were lucky enough to have 10 x Day 3 embryos to freeze. For this cycle we decided to thaw 3 x Day 3s with the aim of getting one to a Day 5 blastocyst. We got very lucky and miraculously we had a beautiful Day 5 to transfer today - with the other two likely to be refrozen tomorrow.

ANYWAY - we are now officially on Day 1 off the 2ww - although it's only 10 days until BT - I'm such a novice that I have NO idea how that even calculates

I am really looking forward to supporting you on your journey, if I can!!

AmyJellyBean - wow we have BT on the same day I loved reading you and DH gut feelings - these things always happen to mess with our heads - so I have all my fingers and toes crossed that this is your month!

Actualy from memory I think Saffy was joining us today... If so, you wouldn't believe how much I'm hoping you get your bfp!

Afm- I'm pretty sure u caught myturns cold, we have clearly been hanging out too much lol. So I'm sitting in my hotel room with a movie on. Had planned to go shopping but not sure if I'll have the energy. I can't believe I'm sick normally my schedule is packed so tight I don't have time shopping. Hmm maybe it wasnt myturns cold maybe it was dh's evil plan to keep the credit card safe. Anyway 10 days since my trigger and the urge to test is getting strong. I have NO symptoms of any sort but just really want a bfp. My bt is due on our wedding anniversary, 9 days later dh turns 30 and then my birthday is 5 days after that. Id love to buy him a present from my trip and when he opens it it's something baby related and that be how I tell him. Hmm I might have to get out of this hotel room ad stop the mind from dreaming!

Amy - I don't think at all that I will go to term anyway - as both my sister and mum had preeclampsia, and mum had gestational diabetes.... so .... as a geriatric, I suspect I too will have some health issue that requires inducing (although I'd prefer not...) but will cross that bridge when it happens

Janie - 4 sleeps!! woo hoo!!.... I keep thinking next friday is closer than I think... but then I see that it's only 3 days past ET for me and i realise - it's forever away!!! sounds like you feel positive - have you POAS????

blossom - I get the mixed feelings about POAS so well!! I feel mixed too... i want to know.... but feel that I might as well wait - cause either AF will arrive or BT, and I'll just be wasting money by POAS.... but some people like the warning, so they are prepared for the BFN phone call.... I dunno how I feel..... I get both sides of the story - so it's too hard to decide!!! Will just have to see how crazy I'm going next week!!!

thirdtimelucky - welcome!!! I too get confused by the calculations, and cause we all have things done at differnt times as well - for example, my blood test is 13 days after ET (on the 17th), but amyjellybean has hers earlier, even though we had ET on the same day.... so it all gets confusing!!! Lol... as long as you know where you're at it's all good....and even thought AF arrived for me in January - I still feel like my cycle started in dec, cause that's when I started medication I think CD1 (cycle day 1) is the first day of AF officially - but maybe someone else can figure it out for you if you really want to know

Mrs Mac - oh... we all needs something exciting don't we..... I read an article somewhere about making lists of various things to help pass the days... like... list of names, list of baby goods needed, list of who to tell in what order etc.... I'm sure I'll end up revisiting this... sometime soon!!

AFM.... feeling less sooky today - that's a good thing really... but then I worry that maybe that means it's not sticking!!!! DH asked me to get kebab meat for dinner and I had to say "can I eat that" while at work... no one heard, but I think... doh.... I hint enough as it is, about wanting to be on "alternative arrangments" hint hint, so people know I'd like to be preg... but only a couple know what's going on.... I desperately want to show off the little embie photo..... but I don't at the same time!!
find myself checking BB all the time to see if anyone is updating, and then there isn't, and I get dissappointed - cause clearly the whole world should be ready to entertain me!!
so when can I expect this little blob to be trying to implant???? ET on saturday - so was it a day two or three???? it was collected thursday - so that means fertilised thursday, so where do they calculate the days from??? and then... how many days later can I start imagining said blob trying to burrow into me????

7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops

I know what you mean about people being there to entertain us, I check BB at least 20 times a day and then think to myself get a hold of yourself Amy hahahaha. That article thingo that you found is awesome. I was told around 3 days after transfer is when it starts to implant, ive had a crampy feeling all day so I know what you mean about the food situation as well, ive been feeling shocking for the past few days and the only thing ive felt like I wanted to eat was last night when I wanted a McFlurry. DH gots the keys and we went to get in the car and I nearly started crying when I realised im not allowed to have soft serve I felt like a little kid having a tanty!!!! Are you going to POAS and if so when???

Blossom - I dont know how you have not POAS!!!! Do you think you will do one before you BT? Ive got everything crossed for you honey!!!

Saffy - Yay for egg pick up!!!! Cant wait to have you with us in the 2WW!

AFM - Well im just going to come out and say it....i've been a complete whinger!!! I sound like all I do on here is whinge and whine Been cramping on and off since ET and today some of the nausea has finally worn off, im having a proper dinner tonight for the first time in 4 days Also at the moment I cannot stand the smell of DH's deoderant or aftershave (which I normally love!!!) Finally yesterday I was able to go to the toilet for the first time in about 7 days and ive felt a little better since then.

Anyone else had any other symptoms?

If you go by this list, and you've had a 5 day blast, then 3 days after ET you would be implanting...
....I can't remember... what did you have???

I was only 2 dp et, so I get to look at the 2nd list.... (and remember it's only general), and I guess some people would work differently anyway.... ..... we need a dr in here

Yeah I had a 3 day transfer so I am 3 dpt today. We sure do need a doctor but I can only imagine what they would say if they saw us over-analysing everything the way we do

Hahahahahaha your messages have made my day!! I've started taking my iPad to work because I am paranoid IT will check my Internet logs and find me obsessing over BB for half the day I'm sooooo the same as you my turn - when there are no updates I feel so disappointed and start wondering what anyone else could possibly be doing instead of posting all the gory details of how anxious they are feeling!!!!

Ooooh Blossom you are getting close! Temptation to POAS must almost be killing you! Although the PUPO feeling is quite a nice one so I can understand not doing it too. Fingered crossed for a bro in a few short sleeps.

Ket a - sickness is hopefully a good sign? My SIL has 5 kids under 7 (it's true!) and every time she falls she gets the flu or gastro or a cold so fingers crossed your body is cooking something more than just germs I still think if you can struggle out for some shopping, there would be no better distraction, particularly where you are!

My turn that calendar is awesome - now I have something real to fixate on during the day ( instead of doing my job). I'm in the process of drafting a maternity leave policy for the company I work for and am struggling to be objective..... Haha!

AFM - I'm a 5 dt and tomorrow I'll be 2dpt so I guess that means if implantation is gunn a start it will be tomorrow? Amy and my turn even though we had different day ET's and 3 and 5's I think we are actually at the same stage post ET. Does that even make sense? I am feeling nothing different so far but maybe cause I am only 1dpt today. I felt a bit Geary today and angry at DH for no reason (go figure) maybe because he is going to be overseas on BT day next Wednesday. I've already lined my BF up to drink a few bottles of wine if it's a bfn and eat massive amounts of chocolate if it's a bfp.

Myturn - No I haven't POAS yet - too scared too! I think I will jinx myself as on the cycle with my BFN I POAS and on my cycle with a BFP I didn't. Such a stupid superstition I know. I think your embie would have been a Day 2 transfer (as is mine) judging by when your collection and transfer were.

Hi to Mrs Mac, Kerber and anyone else I have missed.

AFM - well as mentioned above I have not POAS and don't think I will before hand. I am feeling well, having a fair amount of round ligament pain (I wouldn't have known what this is my first time getting pregnant - I just recognise it from when I fell pregnant with my DD) - so hoping this is a good sign! For those of you who haven't had or don't recognise those pains, it is a crampy feeling, but it is different to AF pains (at least for me) - often when I go to stand up I will cramp or sneeze or cough I will cramp. Lets just hope it isn't me reading too much into things! BB's aren't too sore, but they weren't until I was about 12 weeks with my DD. Don't have any real nausea or anything, but again with my DD that kicked in at 6 weeks 4 days. I have been getting a little bit of reflux also. As you can see I am reading in to every little symptom that I do or don't have! But there is only one way I will know for sure and that is after the BT on Friday. Still feeling positive though.

Hope all of you are travelling well (or as well as can be expected!)
