Hi all u lovely ladies,

Had my ET today! Officially have 1 bewdiful blasty on board. Waiting to hear if the rest of my embies will make it to blasty today / overnight! On previous 2 cycles have only ended up with 1 to transfer and none to freeze! Dont know why that keeps happening, but at least I have 1 as can imagine no transfer would almost be as bad as having cycle cancelled (which happened the 2nd time for me!).

Anyway looking forward to seeing lots of BFPs in here!

TL - hunger is a good sign! Hope all is well with you hun!

Janet - congrats on your ET today as well! GL!

Scooby - I hate the crinone! The cramps havent started yet, but looking forward to those! Imagine my joy this cycle when I found out I would be upping pessaries to twice a day! If it helps bubs stick then I'll put up with it I guess! Stay away AF!

Me - well had ET Monday. 2 embies put back - they were moralists (spelling..?) - almost blastie. So they kept the remaining 2 out to try and get to embie and sadly they degenerated overnight. OK - I'll admit, Tuesdays call made me really sad because I just assumed that the 2 put back may have gone that way as well. Anyway..have to hope they prefer their new surroundings rather then still being in a petrie dish.

Anyway..hope you girls in the final week are remaining cool calm and collected...

2 years this month of trying and yes we did give in on the weekend and did a test and it was positive straight away. They said hcg had to be over 100, mine was 800.

I'm out again - POAS this morning was neg. BT is on Mon but not expecting anything different :(.

Going to take a break - we only have one embie left and I dont hold out much hope of it surviving the thaw and I dont think I can face losing that before my uni exam.

Oh well its started i am offically turning into the psycho b*tch from hell, grrrr the TWW, i am preg iam not iam im not........ you all know how it goes and to make matters worse my little angel would be due tomorrow and i was sure all would eb ok because id be well in to another pregnancy by then :wall: And too top that off SIL ( the same one who told me i cant get pregnant because i dont relax and take time out enough) is coming to stay with us and bringing her friend and her friends husband and there 2 babies for 5 days yipppeee!!!! And all i want to do is withdraw from society till i know whats going on. I really hope my bad temper and ill feelings is not related to PMS :pray:
Sorry girls please feel free to scoot over this post had to get it off my chest. Apart from that still cramping and have been getting DH to feel the boobs every five minutes to see if theyve got smaller :lol: Well enough about me!!!!!!
FG: i am so so sorry i know what a tough journey this has been espicially feeling so isolated. You just never know that little bubsicle waiting could just be the one. Take the time you need though to get emotionally ready :hug: Hope your doing ok.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes, i feel so very fortunate and happy and I'm still not sure that it has sunk in yet. Yes, this was our first transfer, time dragged while waiting for the transfer because i overstimmed etc etc. But it was definately worth it!

Lets hope that there will be a baby boom in jan 09.

JBM - I am also doing the crinone twice daily and same sentiment as you. Just start with first crinone twinges a little while ago! Gotta love it! Either that or my lil peanut is burrowing away!

Scooby hun - so sorry to hear you are down and feeling shirty! Its all the hormones I say! I can understand if you are going to have a full house how hard it will be - esp when they have kids! Wishing you all the best hun and don't worry about your SIL! She is obviously quite ignorant and has no idea!

FG - dont give up hope yet - its too early!!!! those pee sticks can get it so wrong!!!

Dellydoo - great to hear u also have a blasty on board! Ouchies re. the braces! I too had them in my teens and they are not fun in the beginning that s for sure! Not to mention all the cuts and ulcers that come with them! Mind u braces thse days are so much more attractive than back in my metal mouth days!

Me - well got call from clinic this morning and 2 embies made it to blasty, however they only froze one as the other one wasn't good quality unfortunately! But hey I am really stoked that 1 made it to the freezer. That is the first for me in 4 cycles! So am over the moon! Nice to know that if this doesnt work have another chance before doing full stim again! But anyhow placing my faith in lil peanut, as its about time me says!

minniemouse - hello again, you responded very sweetly to my first IVF attempt story a few months ago... I'm glad you have 2 moralists ;) on board, we need more of them in this mad world. Wishing all the best for you, hopefully this cycle is the one!

tiggerlinda - hoping all is going well for you, and your two lovely embies as safely snuggled and growing well. Food cravings must be a good sign!

scooby - I was surprised with 24 eggs as well.They had seen 19 on the scan so a few more must have popped up! I was told at one point I have polycystic appearing ovaries, but not PCOS, maybe that has something to do with it. Strangely wasn't as bloated as last time before or after EPU, fine after a few days. I think the acupuncture helped with it all this cycle. Hows the cramping? More to the point, how are all your badly timed visitors going? You poor thing, I hope you get your time out... put your needs first!

mon - go the little blasty peanut, I'm sure it would have snuggled down by now and happily growing everyday! Congrats on getting another in the freezer too..

dellydoo - another blasty buddy :wiggle: I have 1 on board too... They have done so well to make it thus far so surely things are looking good!

JBM - hope your little girl :girl: is growing well ;) I loved your story about asking the nurse if any of the embryos were pink!

pookigirlba - all the best with your BT next week. Yours is the day before mine! Hope you'll have good news for us :crossfingers:

farmgirl - sometimes it seems easier to lose hope than to hold on. But don't give up yet! There are many stories of incorrect POAS results. Be gentle on yourself this weekend, try to treat yourself to something special. I hope your stick proves to be wrong... :hug:

BB73 - hope your BT next week adds another to the 09 Baby Boom!

This is my first IVF TWW although we've had plenty of natural ones. I told my hubby tonight I feel like my hope is like a caged bird. I'd like it to be confidently soaring but I keep finding myself thinking it probably hasn't worked :rolleyes: And then I slap my own wrist and tell myself to be positive. I think its some kind of self protection mechanism, because the higher the hope, the harder the fall. But we must still hope!! Hope got us this far, and for so many women it has got them far enough to finally have their gorgeous baby in their arms.

Is anyone else on Clexane? I have to do daily morning injections as I have Factor V Leiden (Heterozygous), a mild blood clotting disorder. There is so much fluid to push in and it hurts a bit. Am also on the Crinone at night as well.

I haven't noticed any symptoms except a bit tired, and little twinges and very occasional lower belly crampiness. Oh and I've decided I hate my job, thats a really bad symptom! It must be those "feelings of unworthiness" they warn you of on the Crinone brochure!

hey all not much happening, actually this doesn't feel real to me sometimes and i forget that i've actually got an embryo inside me?
i am still a little tender from egg collection and i am tired and bloated still. the gel isn't that bad but i have to wear a light pad as getting some discharge. dh and i had a look at the photo the clinic gave us of the embryo today. 4 cells. 2 day transfer, so hoping that little bub is sticking.
Mon: hope little peanut is growing and sticking well.
TL: i'm tired too, but i don't have time for rest. got an open house tom and we're getting ready for a fireworks night at our block next sat with some friends, no time to rest .
Numa:did i tell you the scientist was wearing a pink gown on day of transfer too and she actually put her in, i'm sure it's a sign. this is my first IVF/ ICSI and tww.
i didn't get tww with the others i just found out i was preg when period didn't come.

I've been pretty quiet throughout this TWW as I've been so busy lately. Just wanted to post to let you all know that I'm out this month. AF arrived last night :(

I guess it's back to square one with a new stimulated cycle. Feeling pretty disheartened, but will keep going forward.

Good luck to all of you, and I look forward to reading your news over the next few weeks. I'll be keeping everything crossed for some BFPs.

Hope your all travellin well and the TWW is flying in, just a quick update as vistors are still here :dance: Well pains in stomach and bloating have gotten worse so ended up seeing FS and i have mild OHSS, which is not good because of the pain and fluid in my abdomen, but he said you can look forward to some good news next week which is great, meaning ill probably get a BFP, also did POAS this morning and got 2 lines. Id like to say im really excited but i want to see those HCG numbers first, have that constant dread of another ectopic !!!
Girls i wanted to say a really big thank you too you all for such wonderful support i havent had time to post but have been reading all your posts you are all very wonderful people:cheer::grouphug:
I will hop on hopefully tomorrow to do some personals, but at least now i have an excuse to lie in bed all day!

I've got an exam coming up so we are going to wait this month out as I dont think I'll deal with it well if our last embie does not make that thaw (which would be a few days before my exam). Not sure what we should do, I guess I thought that after 3 transfers we would have at least had one BFP, esp as our probs were due to :sperm: - but that is not the way it is going to be:(.

Woah You are all incredibly amazing. Thank you sooooo much for all the positive energy. Had bloods today as the OHSS is taking its toll abit (if this is mild OHSS id hate to think what the real thing must feel like) Well BT looks pretty good HCG was 150 which the nurses are happy with. SO fingers crossed im still abit dubious about getting excited, but i really appreciate you all getting excited for me :dance:

Scooby - it's looking pretty darn good (she says quietly). I hope you are feeling better tomorrow from the OHSS...but hope you start throwing up real soon...:p...now ...you know it's all meant with love....

Numa - I am actually doing Clexane this cycle for the first time. I am with a different FS and he found I had the MTHFR gene (yes girl..you can imagine what I call it..). Anyway the gene can cause some clotting. We are using it to ensure that my uterus is all nice and smooth to hopefully encourage sticking..Hint..with the needles, inject slowly and you hardly feel it at all. I certainly also understand about the negativity. I know it's not good and I am the same - it is human instint and your right - self preservation.

Delly - hope your mouth is feeling a little less sore poor thing...but let's be honest..it's probably taking your mind off the TWW..

Janet - I am not one to build up too much hope...but am truly hoping your symptoms are NOT for AF...

TL - so far so good...I am sure you are running to the loo every 5mins poor thing. I soooo hope AF stays away TL. When is your BT?

Mon - am so glad you got to freeze a blastie this round, that's excellent. Here's hoping it can rest there for some time. Hope you and peanut are doing well.

Me - am ok. Well sort of...have been very down. I know it's such a bad attitude to have right now..but I couldn't shake it. Have been feeling really pretty pukey tonight which is very unlike me...no don't read into it girls...I think it could be left over Pregnyl - it is such evil stuff.

Ofcourse I've started doing my POAS (well those of you who have been here with me before know I have NO willpower). Anyway, as usual have a line - dont get excited again girls as i know 100% it is Pregnyl. Now over the next day or so - if it gets darker - YAY and lighter...so not yay...Sadly I am an expert these days and know the drill.

I soooo hope there will be more good news in here soon...

Hi Everyone! So much going on in here its awesome! You go away a few days and this thread really picks up pace! Well 2WW is dragging on ehh! The good ol' crinone cramps have kicked in and so have the sore BBs! Also had some twinge/poke like feeling happening in my lower left side of uterus a few times today. Don't know what to make of it??
DH is tempted to POAS but I refuse as I think its still too early! ha ha! Maybe this weekend when realise AF has lost her way to my place. Wed/Thurs should be AF due date! So will be kinda on edge then! If can get past that then I will be stoked!

Scooby - Congrats hun! Those HCG numbers are looking good! Hope the OHSS symptoms ease off! Its not fun the OHSS, I had that last time after EPU, it was mild, but it was still painful.

FG and Vicki - I too am so sorry about your BFN! It totally sux! It's not fair!!!!!!!! Huge hugs to you both!

Lulu - Sorry to hear you are feeling a down. You are being rational about how you are feeling due to symptoms and not blaming it on PG but the hormones induced by meds. I think its our way of self protecting. Gosh 2WW hurry up! Me I am too scared to POAS! I hope that line gets darker and darker for you hun!

TL - hunny, so glad you have gotten past your AF day! How nerve wracking! I am sure I will be like that in a few days time! I like the idea of packing AFs bags for a long long holiday of at least 9 mths, I wonder how much money she would like so that I can bribe her!!! he he!

numa - hope you are doing well and that your little embie is growing strong and healthy! I can so relate to your analagy of a caged bird! After third 2WW, I am finding it a bit more manageable to break this whole thing down into thinking about the day I am in. Have hope for that day and be thankful that no AF is here. For the mo. am PG until proven otherwise. Don't think about how you will feel when you know the outcome. Just know you will be able to deal with it, whatever it will be. And we are all here either way to hold your hand!

I am so sorry I have been absent - Life has been nuts. Have quit my job as they were being awful - similar situation to you last month TL I think and eventually I just thought stuff it My and emby do not need any extra hassle. Anyway am looking forward to being a full time student - a total change from the fast paced corporate world!

Mon - Darling I have had a few twinges too - I don't know what to think but everything I have read says that strong cramping is not a great sign but twinges are!

Well team tomorrow is D-Day for me. AF was due last Thursday and no sign though I did do my last shot of pregnyl last Wednesday so am scared it may not give a true result when I POAS tomorrow.

Minnie mouse - you absolutely crack me up, God knows how many you will get through before this is over. You must have a pretty steady hand by now. Braces are OK and you are right they do distract me. After I have eaten I always ask DP if I have any roadkill in the bullbar.

I am back in this thread for the first time since last september.....

I had a day 5 blastie put in yesterday morning. i may also have 2 more in the freezer if they kept developing until today...:pray:

my BT is next wednesday and AF is due Sunday.

Me, feeling slighty off at times, but dont know if that is just internal anxiety?? Feel like also have onset of headache, so hoping it doesnt! DH, too cute, he rings me this morning to make sure I was OK and no bad news! He was worried, cause I got up in middle of night to go to bathroom and was then tossing and turning. I told him it was because he was lying in the middle of the bed and his body heat was too much for me, so couldnt find a cool spot to settle and snuggle into! huh and I thought he was sleeping!
