Oh yeah ladies, I am totally here...bring on the anxious nerve-wrecking emotional TWW...but thank god I have your girls.

Just posted in the LTTTC thread about my little adventure at my transfer...I was so relieved that I didn't get that dreadful phone call before the procedure, luckily our Olympics embie survive, well, by then I only won half the battle.

My transfer usually hassel-free, in and out 5 minutes, this time, I got my money worth. I made them do twice. First time, FS can't get the catheter into the right angle of my uterus. I have to empty my bladder to kick it into shape, well, it worked. Second time, my snow bub is on board!

Did some acupuncture this afternoon and I feel exhausted. Surprised how the little procedure like this can take so much out of you. Well, have ordered take away and plan to watch dvd for the rest of evening.

Minnimouse, PMed you and just saw the post, glad all went well. Oscar, hope you are doing ok 2 days into TWW...

Best of luck Nixon for tomorrow and let us know how you go....

Thanks Minnie. right back at ya.

I'm off to Acupunture at 8.30 then transfer at 12 then back for acupuncture at 1.30.

I don't think I'm going to be able to sit still for long today and tomorrow - well, if I'm honest for the next 2 weeks.

    Ugh!! More waiting....awesome.

I'm taking my camera to the transfer - the scientist said I might be able to get a pic before they transfer.

    Nerves nerves.

    See you later!!

    Hello Girls,

Futuremum - Hi. Welcome. How are you travelling so far?

Bei Bei - How are you doing sweets? Feeling positive I hope

Lissie - Hi. Welcome - How ae you finding it so far?

Oscar - How are you? Are you happy with everything so far?

AFM - Transfer went ahead on time yesterday. All looked good - apparently the ling looked fab, so I guess there is not much else I can do now but wait.

My BT is supposed to be in 10 days - that's what the Dr said, but they booked me in for the 1st of Sept. I don't know whether they did that because the 31st is a sunday ? They said I could go in and get it done on the 31st, but that it may need to be repeated.

What do you guys reckon? I would kind of like to hear if it is a BFP or BFN at home with my husband if it is at all possible. I don't know how I would react at work?

I'm thinking Sunday. But would like to hear some other opinions.

    Thinking of you all.

    Nic,

Glad the transfer all went smoothly...now the waiting begins.

I can understand that you want a Sunday test so you can digest the result. I think SIVF normally give 11 days between transfer and pg test. So my b/t is on 31 Sunday and I had transfer a day before you. So yours on 1st September sounds right to me, not because it is a Sunday. But as you said, if you want to do it earlier, they can always accommodate anyway. They are really nice about it which is the way I love.

But man, I think I won't be waiting that long anyway, I plan to do POS Thursday or Friday if I can control myself, that's just seems miles away from now thought...

Hope everyone else keep entertained over the weekend, have a good one!

    Nixon,

I can understand you wanting to do it on Sunday and not be at work to get the news.
I always have BT day off work cause i just know that if its a BFN i will cry and thats not good when you are on the front desk and there is no back up and i just would not have my mind on work - everytime the phone rang i would think its them, and you know everytime i have received the wonderful call of BFP i have cried too so i just take the day off - can you take Monday 1st off work?

    Hey everyone.

    Thanks for the advice.

Lissie - ideally I would like to take the day off, but then the waiting around would drive me nuts. Plus, I took two days off this week for transfer. This will be my first + or - phone call so I don't know how Im going to react, but I know what I was like when they told me that the eggs had fertilised. My mum thought it had all gone up the swanny because I was crying so much when I called

Mel - Congrats on the transfer. I'll be praying tothe fertility gods for you.

BeiBei - Thanks for the info about SIVF.

I had a call this morning from the clinic. They thought that only one of my eggs from day 5 (out of 3 spares) would be worth freezing. Turns out one got frozen on day 5 and the other 2 really kicked it up a notch and improved greatly on day 6 and they were frozen then. So we have 3 frosty bubsicles.

Enjoy your weekends ladies - speak soon.
    X

    Hi everyone

Nixon I'm ok just keeping busy, have a welt on my tummy from the pregnyl

Yep I agree re the day off blood test day. It's so difficult when you've already had two days off for the OPU. I will be taking an RDO on the 1st it's already booked.

Usually my bosses are pretty good. I overheard one cow (sorry) pay mistress make a mockery of my day off for blood test day once
She was one of those oh I never take days off martyrs but she's gone now

    Futuremum,

One thing i have learnt over the years is to pay absolutely no attention to any negative talk, pay no attention to what other people think either, its your life, they did what suited them so now its your turn. and hope you are going okay. Not long now and we will all know the outcome and i hope we are all around.
    to everyone.
