Hi Everyone. I am new to this. I have been reading through your thread and have felt a sense of pride. All of you of strong, beautiful women. I had a FET on the 30th November and are due to have my blood test tomorrow. I have been experiencing period symptoms for a few days, but as yet no bleeding.
I am unsure of all the abbreviations. BFN BFP etc. Could you please let me know.
With Christmas around the corner, I would like to wish everyone a christmas miracle.
    Best Wishes

hey guys i am just letting you know " ignore all symtoms" as i had sore bb, acheing back, grumpy, all the signs. pimples. and it was a BFN at least 2 times i had so many symtoms it wasn't funny and af came anyway.
so my motto is " ignore ALL symtoms" and thats what i am doing . although i havn't really had any this time ?.

those pregnyl injectiond hurt ( ouch!!) i had my 2nd one yesterday SAT and got one more on tue. it is a 1500 ? don't know if that means anything ?

also with using pregnyl, can you poas early? or will you get a false positive ? it will be day 28 on saturday the 21st. but my blood test isn't untill the 27th dec ARRGGG.

not going crazy yet , just a bit sore from injections and a little swollen too. i am still feeling fine.

to my TWW buddies, cuddlepie and mels. : hope you're being good and lets all get a BFP for christmas. xxoo

Janet, I can't believe that you b/t is on 27th? I had transfer one day later than you and b/t is on 22nd...I am sure you can POAS on Saturday, otherwise I will be going crazy for you too.

My plan is to make it till next Thursday and see how long I can control myself. Maybe we can be POAS buddies too! Pregnyl usually go out of your systems after two days if it is 1500ui.

Sorry to but in here...but Pregnyl can last in your system up till a week after injecting...I usually start testing 3-4 days after my last Pregnyl and have a faint 2nd line..I know if it gets darker - all good and if lighter..well need I say it..

So be careful with the nasty Pregnyl, it really plays evil tricks with your mind if you don't know what it's about.

Oh...and to stop it hurting...inject reallllllllly slowly and it should stop the stinging...just be patient and go slow.

    All the best ladies..

    hi girls

butterfly - good luck tmrw. hopefully it's a short stay in this thread for you.

cuddlepie - good luck on your TWW!

JBM - you're so positive, I love it. As for pregnyl injections, I don't have to have any for a FET? Only for the trigger. Does that sound strange?

AFM, my mood is wavering between positive and terrified. I've had some slightly pinkish cm yesterday (sorry if TMI)...I often get this 5 or so days before AF. But I'm not giving up! It's not over till it's over. I am going to POAS on Friday (BT is Tuesday). Basically I would expect AF to arrive on Friday if she is going to rear her ugly head. God I hope she doesn't. My hopes and dreams are pinned on this FET...there's something about the end of the year that really does that??

    I hope everyone is well.
    Mels xx

    HI all,

Thanks Loula and smithy for directing me here. Hope everyone is doing ok and doesn't mind me joining this thread.

I'm doing my first ICSI cycle and am 10dpo in the dreaded 2 ww. ET was 9th, AF is due 18th and BT is 20th.
Have felt some signs like cramping and ultra sore boobs and some tiredness. I was really windy and bloated but that has settled now. I can even fit back in to my jeans which i haven't been able to do since EPU on 4th!!

Up to yesterday i was feeling really positive but after bad cramping around 4am saturday morning, i have kind of lost hope. DH is still quite positive and excited.

Have to say i don't think much of this waiting around, it's torture!

Butterfly - BFN = Big Fat Negative so BFP is Positive Its tricky at the start but it gets easier Good luck with the BT (blood test) and I hope that a big fat BFP comes your way!!

JBM - Clinics are nasty aren't they - mine likes to wait extra long for BT's too so I can understand. But if you get a +hpt I am sure you'll be able to swing an earlier one. Happy to allow you to ignore all symptoms for as long as you need to.

CP - I could never test that early lol... I plan to test next Sat only because we are having dinner with some good friends and I'm either going to get very drunk or be the only very sober one. Hope that whenever the test happens, there is a beautiful second line waiting for you!!

Mels - Oh dear hun... Those mood swings are a nightmare aren't they. Hoping that its not a sign of anything dire and that the test again shows a pretty picture of 2 lines.

ibb - That could be implantation cramping hun... at 8dpo its very possible. But welcome in here, its nice to be insane right along with a few others.

Tania and Sue, and anyone else I may have missed.

AFM, got some pains this morning which are unusual, bb's are getting slightly sorer, but all in all, still pretty quiet on this front. 6dpo today so hoping its going to get really obvious that I am utd from here on. Positive thinking all the way lol.

Lulu, i think you are right about Pregnyl, lucky you told me otherwise I will just be excited for nothing!

Also, DH officially 'banned' me from POAS this cycle! We don't have any at home, I will see how I go with the 'ban' as we approaching closely...will be interesting! Might need a straight jacket! haha....

Hope you are all having a good Monday! I am feeling super ATM, cramping is goine except occassional a bit twige here or there but I think its just me over-analysing!

Sorry I havent been around much, just caught up in my own little world at the moment.
First beta on Thurs was 21, todays was only 44 so have been told that the pregnancy is not viable.
Am so upset, really trying to deal with it but not coping all that well. Have stopped my meds today and have to wait and see what happens, make sure its not ectopic etc.

hi guys, sorry i've dropped off the radar.

Just wanted to give you all hugs and wish you lots of baby luck!!

JBM your advice is golden and i think should be the theme of the thread: IGNORE ALL SYMPTOMS and if there's no symptoms - ignore that too.

great advice, hard to execute but something to strive for. i'll be taking that on board next cycle after reading way too much into our 2ww last month.

we are waiting for a fet in january. only one frostie so not feeling confident but hope to join tww then.

    merry christmas

Hi Ladies, I am officially on the 2WW with you ladies. Now I know some of you already, I'm hoping to get to know everyone else soon!

JBM - Sending you for a BFP, I hope you get good news soon!

Mels77 - Good luck hon, sending you and don't give up, keep up the good work so far!

BecD - Honey I'm sorry to hear your news, I hope you're ok, I feel for you thnking of you and take care of yourself.

AFM - I had my transfer done on Sunday, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had 2 Blastocysts transferred, I am for good news. My BT is on the 27th of December. Its such a long way to go.... Also I have been getting some Crinone symptoms today, hot flushes bad...and grumpiness feeling a bit down, but I'm not complaining, I can put up with all that, if I get a nice belated Christmas present

Everyone else I have missed, wishing you all good luck ladies, and I hope you all get a BFP soon.

Hi to all of you TWW...

well i am at the end of a bad tww. i am doing my POAS wednesday, but i already know what it will be.
i had my ET on 4th dec. i was dizzy and had lower back pain on days 4 & 5dpt. then i had a two day bleed with clots and back pain on day 6 &7dpt.
so i assume that this was my period.
although the nusre at the clinic said it may be an incomlete period as it was only 2 days???? she also said as i had two frosties transfered one may stick around??

today is day 28 and i am again experiencing morning dizzyness and lower back pains, but no other symptoms...
so i am in limbo land bigtime. i have been pregnant naturally before and it was so easy compared to this hell.
because this was a natural cycle i assume that if my period comes early that i may need to have progesterone next time??? i also read that it is a good thing to have the progesterone before the transfer??? anyone tried this????

has anyone out there in TWW land detoxed???? i stopped alchol, coffee and anything else that is bad or naughty....i read tonight that a glass of white wine each night is a good thing as it relaxes your uterus for implanting......maybe trying to do all the right things are not helping at all????!!!!

goodluck to you all with you BT's this month....
i couldn't think of a better xmas present...
    michelle
