5 full cycles and 3 fet, this was a fresh transfer..and I am not holding out much hope as today 9dpt (blasties) and BFN. BT wednesday if AF not before but she is often a day or 2 late
-
Wow there's been an explosion of newbies, welcome all - there's been some busy people over the weekend!
Carla and Kate - your BTs are the same day as mine. Hope the next week goes quickly for you both!
Bel - thinking of you this afternoon. Maybe Dr Lulu is right - use the time you're waiting, to plan something positive - eg. a holiday weekend away, or a massage / facial etc. Something I also do, before I know a result, is to plan what I'd try the following cycle - eg. vitex, or preseed, or exercise, or a natropath, or a chinese herbalist, or some other recommended thing - I always find that if I have some kind of "different" plan, I feel a bit more positive about the upcoming cycle, particularly if it needs to be a natural cycle - and you can always cancel appointments if they're not needed. Just a suggestion. BUT I'm really hoping you get some GREAT news today anyway :crossfingers:
-
Lulu..sorry for being dumb but I dont understand ...9dpt (blasties) and BFN?????? whats dpt??? Im sooo notup with allthe lingo...............sorry........
-
Carla it is day post transfer, LOL it is all lingo that I dont understand and often make up my own little words.
Hmm has the day gone really slow today?
Bec
Lulu is your BT early because of blastys, I am 10DPT today but bloods isnt till Friday but that was my sadish grade 3 embie on a day 3 transfer LOL plus thaw which being in the freeze for 3.5 yrs must of needed alot to get the icicles off it !!
-
yes as Bec said DPT - days past transfer and BFN...Big Fat Negative..
-
Hey
Carla - that is just the symbolism I need. On Saturday after yoga DP and I took a wrong turn (OK I took a wrong turn) and we ended up in Embie St - Not Kidding! AND while the transfer was taking place "Brown eyed girl" started playing. The universe is sending the signs!
-
Or, Big F#^@Q%g negative as I like to say . ;)
Bec and others who had a day 3 transfer - how many cells was your embie? They said mine was a little slow to divide and was 4 cell, but seemed optimistic it may pick up once inside (in the nursery). Internet says they're usually 8 cell by day three, I'm hoping mine picked up once transferred.
-
Deni:
Mine was a FET thou so 4 yrs ago it was a 3 day embie and then had to come out of the freeze. This was a 6-8 cell but had fragmentation LOL have no idea what that means but told them if it looked suss to thaw the other and they just did the one. I only have single transfers so my odds are bad but it took 5 stims and 14 FETs this is no 15 but spaced oout about 7 yrs and with 3.4 yrs off
-
Thankyou for translating.....
Oh Lulu Im so sorry..
I am 5 DPT but I had 5 day blasti...does that make me 10 dpt???
-
nope that makes you 5 days dpt...
-
Mine was day three freeze and and it was transferred day 4 - 7 cells (one burst). They showed a picture of it and it looked like an ink stain - I was so proud!
-
Guess who is going home to POAS:p
Bet AF shows tomorrow just to
-
Hey Bec
Are you really going home to POAS????OMG...Good luck........
My boss just asked me if i was pregnant....he said so .....how you doin..you preggas yet.....??? LOL.... he makes me laugh....we tell him allt he gory stuff and last week i told him about my FET..thought he was going to faint!!!! Told him I would know next week......but do i really want to....how the hell do yoou prepare yourself for somehting like that!!! GOD IM GOING INSANE
-
Bec sending you all the BFP vibes hun GL
-
Carla, people at my work know about my IVF stuff too. In some ways I find it easier, and they're good now at reading if I dont want to talk about it. My boss and his wife did IVF themselves(4 cycles of it) so knows all about it. A girl who shares my office also is doing IVF so it's nice to have heaps of support around!
It's great you didn't take offence at your boss' query. Keep up the positive energies!!
Bec - best of luck with the POAS.. don't get wee on the fingers in your haste!! But remember, arvo wee isn't as potent, so don't be discourage if it is a single line.
-
Bec all the very very best - may your aim be true!
-
Deni.. wow thats great you have that support.....your very lucky.
Can I just ask something and can anyone tell me.
I wasnt given any drugs after my FET......this cycle I have done it naturally....they didnt give me anything and said my progesterone levels were fine..shouldnt they have given me something anyway to help me along? has anyone had the same???
-
Me too Carla - Nothing I had the transfer this morning and will not speka to anyone again until next week, apparently conditions are perfect in my natural cycle - I guess we are so used to giving Mother Nature a hand.
-
Oh thankgod...someone just told me I should have had something to help me along..cant get intouch with my FS and started panic..........thanks sweetie.....
-
Babe - we have are going to stay calm and chilled like Fonzies! Warm warm thoughts to you!
-
I hope I won't crash the site, I am 5day post transfer (last wednesday) and b/t is on 24/2 coming Sunday, and I think I can only wait until Wed to POAS, that is, if AF is not visiting...but I don't have good feeling for this month, I have that dread feeling when I pee...(sorry TMI):p
Bec, let us know how you go, you naughty naughty girl...
Carlar, Minniemouse, Deni, Dellydoo and anyone I missed, good luck for keeping sane in the next couple of days (or more), let's hope we will all see two lines...
-
Bec - best of luck for POAS tomorrow...may it be a strong potent batch!!! Let us know how you go.
BeiBei - welcome and goodluck honey. Try and hold out as long as you can before you POAS or you may end up sad like me - horrible...
-
Don't give up hope though Minnimouse, which day are you at? Maybe its just not showing yet...hang in there hun...x
-
thanks BeiBei..I am 9 dpt and BT wednesday..
-
I will be thinking of you then on Wed, fingers crossed for you and do come back and tell us how you go...
-
Good morning chickies :)
Sorry I have been MIA for a few days, and thanks for all the thoughts and posts - though I'm not sure I deserve them! Though I still feel a little in limbo, DH and I have decided that low positive is good enough for us so we've officially (cautiously) awarded ourselves a BFP. Still got another BT Thursday to go which I'm trying not to sweat on, but if the levels are still going up I'm happy to call it then! Since this personal epiphany I feel I shouldn't really be posting here now, but on some levels feel I can't move on because I haven't been given the rubber stamp of approval from the nurses.
Grrls how are we all going?
Bel I'm so sorry to hear you had such a tough weekend :( I've got my fingers crossed that you will have good news to report today.... really thinking of you hun.
Minnie, how are you travelling? Neeaaarrrlly Wednesday. Nearly nearly! Isn't it funny how the POAS becomes like a scientific experiment? Bloody things. I'm patiently awaiting your good news :)
Welcome to all the new "faces" who have popped in while I was MIA. Good luck!!!! I hope your 2ww isn't tooooo hard.
Have a great day everyone.
Tish
