well sorry to say no second line this morning, so back to the start for me I guess. BT tomorrow will just confirm BFN. Didn't really get my hopes up as I felt that it wasn't my time. Have to take the next month off (rubella needle required, even when we are not cycling we still have needles) so March here we come.
Best of luck to all of you who are still in the TWW.
Oh Saph, I am so sorry, but what type of POAS are you using? There is still a chance, will be sending lots of BFP sticky vibes for your BT tomorrow and hope you get the surprise of your life.
Saph - so sorry to hear that. Hang in there - we will all get there in the end - positive thinking ox
Thinking of everyone waiting whilst I go insane myself. Tempted to do an early HPT but I think I will restrain. Have a wedding this weekend so that should keep my mind off things. Also my DH and I arent doing too well - big fights over work etc and what to do with our lives - to dairy farm or not to. We have nearly had to seperate a couple of times now and we have only been married for not quite 2 years. Maybe I could put it down to TTC.
Also the fires in Gippsland are getting very close to my folks farm - so that is also keeping my mind off the wait as well. Fires are less than 10km away.
WLAB - Loops sort of came from Fruit Loops. My dad calls me that and others call me Loops. Also it is just one that people dont normally use on websites etc. Lou is normally taken.
Anyway - Im still thinking about everyone going insane with wait and have my fingers crossed for all of you.
Take care

: Wanted to add something
I'd like to join this little gathering - I'm in the TWW for my 2nd IUI cycle. My BT is on Tues 3rd Feb, I'm already 13DPO but my clinic always schedule my BTs for 17DPO. How annoying! I've got one more pregnyl injection to do tonight and then nothing until Tues.
As you can imagine I've got random symptoms which are probably more like pre-AF signs, such as mild pelvic cramps, sore and heavy bbs (they're an E cup normally so you can imagine how heavy they are with the pregnyl!) and chocolate craving. That reminds me, I should go and buy some healthy lunch so I don't graze on the chocolate in the kitchen at work.
I am so sorry to hear that you must be terrible disappointed. Don't want to give you false hope but I think as long as AF is not there, maybe wait until the BT before giving up on it

Have been sitting on the PC surfing the net, procrastination, supposed to be studying, looking at options for my 40th in July. Any ideas?
Saph - I"m sorry darl. I hope you're wrong (and HPT's can be wrong!) and that you get a surprise tomorrow. If not, I hope that you can move on swiftly to the next step. Hang in there.
Babysteps - welcome to the 2WW! Yes, apparantly we are supposed to ignore all the symptoms Still, I think we are supposed to go mad during this time.
Loops - this whole process puts a strain on the relationship, that's for sure. I hope you and DH are able to come to some sort of peace, but it isn't easy, I know.
Spring - maybe you should start a macrame craze? Haven't seen that ***** since the 70's. Clean out some cupboards? Re-organise a room in the house? All the best to you in the crazy waiting game.
HEy to all my other friends in here - WLAB, BDT, Aleenta, Rob, and anyone I have missed....I can hear DH's car pull up and I have to at lest pretend to be studying.....
Hi Lyra : Every clinic is different , did you have IUI ? They make the BT after af would "normaly" be expected, so if you are going to get a positive, its a clear positive, and vise versa, they like you to get the BT even of your period (af) arrives because you can still bleed and be pregnant. And as for you nurses being unfriendly, I wouldnt put up with that !!! My FS's bedside manner has been questionable, and I am no longer putting up with that either ... Ring up and complain to some-one without leaving your name, they need to get there act together and be supportive ...
Well, as you can all tell, I am on the rampage, probably b/c af arrived ..... OHHHHHHHHH I cant beleive it , another cycle, I dont even make it to BT ... :-( ....... I am making an appt with a new FS, and the only one good thing out of this is I have hit the safety net, so I will save our pennies, and get back into another cycle in March ... grrrrrrrrrrr
Wouldloveabubba - I'm so sorry! I can't believe it. Sending you heaps of cyberhugs, that is so unfair. A new FS plus hitting the threshold are positives though, so I"m sure you will move forwards in every sense next month.
WLB - Oh no! I'm sorry about ur BFN. I don't know why but I was sure you would be a positive. Probably because of the positive ora you exude. Keep it up and you will get a BFP very soon. I know it!
Oh, and I agree about the FS need to learn to have a friendly bedside manner. We spend thousands of dollars every year with these clinics and many of us are on the edge. The least they can do is show us a bit of empathy, kindness and give us the time of day to ask questions. Sure, some of the questions we might repeat 10 times (guilty!) but if that's what makes us more confident and gives us a more positive attitude to what is only to be descibed as one of the most difficult experiences in ones life, then they should allow it and encourage it. Otherwise, go get a job in a lab where there's no personable interaction!!!
There, I've said my piece. As like you WLB, it is something I believe strongly in. Rest up for the next month and we'll see you im March gorgeous ox
Thanks wouldluvabubba! Very helpful info. I'm SO sorry that AF has arrived. What a shame. Big hugs.
About the nurses, complaining has crossed my mind but I suspect like I would just sound like a hormonal stressed woman (which is what I am!). It's nothing really concrete but it's just lots of little things that add up and make me not want to talk to them! They're very proffessional but they just have no empathy or friendliness and I get the feeling they couldn't give a toss whether it works or not for me. I wonder if they just get blase about the whole thing as they're dealing with it every day- but still a smile wouldn't go astray! I'd be interested to hear if others have similar or different experiences.
