LTTTC Two Week Wait June - Aug 09

So results were estrogen 3200, progesterone 194.

Can anyone give me any indication if this is good? They aren't putting me on any pessaries due to these results

Littlemissmoo - welcome! Hope your ttc journey only improves after that FET experience, crikey! I had a shocker of an egg collection in March - after they had finished collecting, i vomited, then i passed out, and had to stay the whole day in hospital, as i wouldn't stop throwing up - had a reaction to the sedative! :rolleyes:

AFM right now, feeling pretty good - had acupuncture this morning, all fine there, then went and had a hair cut, so that always makes you feel good! Yesterday afternoon/evening, my nipples were really stinging/tingly. Never had that before, and it doesn't seem to be here today.... i keep telling myself that it's probably just the drugs, so calm down and forget that it happened! After my et, as i was leaving the hospital car park, there was a sticker on a car that said "remember to breathe" .... it was good to read that at that moment, and i still think of it, and take a deep breath and say a prayer.

My thoughts are with all of you!

Hi everyone, how's everyone weekend been? Ours has been good, we set up a stall at the local market & made $190! When is everyone's final blood test due? Mine is on Thursday 9th July, though I have to admit I couldn't help myself & bought a HPT whilst out shopping. My hubby wanted to go to the pub, so I thought right I will test & if it's negative then I was going to enjoy a nice glass of wine, but it came up with a very faint positive. I know that it's probably the leftovers from the pregnyl 1500 (injected last Thur) but I can't help praying that it's right! You watch, I'll be out tomorrow buying another one just to waste my money!!! Oh why do we do it to ourselves!!!!!

Littlemissmoo, I have been so tempted to buy a hpt! How long does pregnyl last in your system? I had my last pregnyl on Friday, the next one is monday.

Af was due here over the weekend but no sign of her yet.did a hpt yesterday and it was a BFN :( but everything i have been feeling has worsened, (*)(*) feel like they've been used as punching bags and now im struggling to keep anything down.sunday morning breakfasts at our place we make bacon and egg english muffins, yesterday morning when i was cooking the bacon and eggs i had to keep walking out of kitchen because the smell kept turning my stomach. i ate a muffin as i was starving but it didn't stay long.even fluids don't wwant to stay down.i feel fine the rest of time.last night when we were at DP's bowling game i ate ONE salt and vinegar chip and even that sent me running to loo. I have my gynae appointment today to get the referal for ivf so i think i'll be asking to get a blood test done

As far as the pregnyl staying in your system, I've read two different things: allow three days for 1500 & 10 days for 5000 but I've also read that it can vary from person to person depending on your metabolism. I remember one cycle I tested each day & it took about 3 days for it to leave my system. I notice that you're in Perth too, what clinic are you using, I'm attending Hollywood. Hope all goes well!!

I decided to do a test this morning before my pregnyl. :bfn: :(

I knew I shouldnt have done it - but I couldnt help myself, I am a little bit over the whole family and friends putting the pressure on too.

Do you think I should call the clinic? - I feel like I would get told off for doing a HPT!

AFM Warning may be TMI in this one LOL .... I still have this brown discharge from 7 dpo its like nothing only when I wipe and I am soo stumped as to why??? Now a question for you girls if you O'd on cd16 would you calculate a 28day cycle or go 31 days?? If I go by 28 days I am due for AF today and she isn't here but if I go 31 she is due on Thursday.. So I don't know whether to test tomorrow or hold off till Thursday its soo confusing! And my FS is on holidays so grr this isn't helping me at all and I never have a cycle of my own until the drilling so I don't know what to do and I don't want to jinx myself by doing a test IYKWIM?

at gynae clinic they had me poas and it was BFN. the gynae said even though im only couple days late it would show up by now and that he wouldnt order a blood test.i asked him to explain all these symptoms and he just shrugged his shoulders and said i dont know. i used the form my gp gave me and got blood test done on way home.results should be back tomorrow arvo or wednesday.a couple friends have said its taken up til 10 weeks for them to show a bfp so im still hoping til i get results from blood test

Krikkat - I know at my clinic they always tell you not to POAS, to wait until the blood test, so I never tell them that I'm out there supporting all the manufacturers!

Hello all, hope you are all doing well. I am now 16 days post IUI and stick the damn bloody sticks say no. Just got to hold off until Friday and I can go for a blood test.

This is by 40000000000 miles the most frustrating thing I've ever done on purpose. We must be the only animals to put so much pressure on ourselves ... which makes me wonder, is there lots of infertility in the animal kingdom?

In answer to an earlier question, the only thing I do differently during the 2ww is drink less : ) .. and the pregnyl means my boobs turn into things the size of weapons of mass destruction so runnings out too (and even cycling over a speed bump slowly is horrid!)

ps - Krikkit - I go mad when people put pressure on me, particuarly asking questions in public about it. I find with friends that asking if they are having far-out sex shuts them up (I don't see why my sex life should be common knowledge and not theirs) although I concede this approach does not work so well with my widowed 87 year old grandmother....

I'm just wishing Thursday would hurry up & get here. I done another HPT today & again there's a very very very faint (fainter than last time) line. AF still isn't here (was due Sunday) so until it arrives I guess there's a chance. I was thinking of going for the BT tomorrow & then just telling the clinic some porky pie about why I got it done early but I'm the worlds worst liar!! Hope everyone's doing as well as can be, fingers crossed for everyone

Ok the wait is driving me insane... I did a preg test on sunday... yes very early i know with a neg BFN. as i said. Today i did yet another one, but this time i got a very faint second line... BFP.
I'm excited and happy, but don't want to get too carried away, still have a few days to wait for BT (saturday) I want to think pos, but am having a few cramps...
Hope that everyone is doing well, and that the TWW is all worth it in the end... good luck girls.

I'm jealous - because of the pregnyl, mines going the other way - faint positive to negative. Grrrr!

LondonMiss, when was the last time you had the pregnyl? is that the same as puregon?

well, i could be confusing the ****tail of drugs, but I think puregon was before IUI, then I had pregnyl injections at DPIUI +4 and +8 days, so last one was a week ago on Monday. I had two faints ones last week, then a negative over the weekend (but POAS mid afternoon so prob unreliable anyway). This waiting is just horrid. All I want (like everyone else) is one bloody little blue line!!! (well, two if you count the test line). Good luck though - yours sounds v promising

LondonMiss... ohh ok yeah, im not really up to date on all the drugs and such. i was on that puregon up until two days b4 EPU then had one more injection of ovidrel, and that was it... then had EPU and ET. yay no more needles.. for now.
Although the EPU was hard, it's nothing compared to this TWW... Why do we all torture ourselves with these HPT's? Well good luck for your BT, my fingers are def crossed for a BFP for you...

Well, Im back in the TWW.

Just finished my first boost cycle and had an egg pick up on friday and 2 embybabies transfered yesterday (monday). None to freeze this time as my other 5 eggs were a little immature :(

The pregnal is making my boobicles SOOOOO sore. I am going to try my hardest not to post obsessively and torture myself over every symptom. (hahahahahhahaha - yyeah right)

I have my fingers crossed for all of us.

I'm at the end of my tww and have been desperately trying to avoid thinking about it this month!!! It's worked so far, my bf does my pregnyl injections for me and twice I almost forgot!!!! :redface: Glad she only lives around the corner!

I have sore boobs, tiredness etc... but had all that last month and still got a bfn so trying not to get my hopes up this time.

I'm also on pessaries this time round... they are so NOT FUN!!!!!!!!! :wall:

Littlemissmoo - My bt is set for Thurs as well and I'm a Hollywood girl too! Wonder if I've seen you there before???

Oh, I forgot to add, I am in quite a bit of pain. My EPU was not the best as my right ovary was wedged up behind my uterus and much as my FS tried, he could not manipulate it out from its hiding place. Concequencely he had to go through my uterus instead. Ouchies! I have been to scared to take any painkillers since ET. Everytime I cough, sneeze, laugh or go to the bathroom - it bloody hurts like hell. Anyone else experienced this and is it ok to take panadine?

Sharon1977 - i see you're also on pessaries... they are not fun hey! Actually, today and yesterday, after i've used the pessaries, i've had a discouloured discharge... just hoping this may be because of the pessaries starting to cause a little irritation, and not the start of spotting. Have you experienced this? During the rest of the day, there isn't any discoloured spotting, so hope it's just the pessaries!

Springvalley, misslondon, littlemissmoo, krikkit, sammiejam my thoughts are with you all! How are you all feeling? Isn't it just two weeks of feeling like you're holding your breath? Thats how i feel, like i'm tip toeing around, hoping that the little emby sticks so tight!

I've only had one moment where my (.)(.) were tingly and sensitive, and since then, nothing.... not a thing! And i'm still being stubborn and havn't even bought a poas. BT friday, so will be nervous all day! Acupuncture tomorrow (thurs), so my acupuncturist may even be able to pick something up on my pulse.... so will probably be nervous tomorrow too :rolleyes:

THERESEP i too have been using pessaries, and at times have had a lil coloured discharge, my nurse assures me that this is ok, so try not to worry too much about it, even though i know it's almost impossible not to worry about each and every little thing that happens to you...

AFM, well i have a HPT addiction for sure, I did another one, but this time it was a BFN.. grrr, so yeah I'm not too sure what to think now... It still feels like Saturday is forever away.. I'm sure that come Thursday ill buy another one and try once again.
They need to stick a pic up of me around all the local shops with a big sign stating not to ever sell preg tests to this lady...

I'm doing opks as the moment and waiting for the LH surge so I can go for my fifth FET. I *should* get the surge tomorrow, which is CD15, and FET should be on Sunday, but we'll see if that's what my body thinks as well. Then I'll be back in the TWW with you.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I hope those about to test are doing okay - the hardest part is the last week. From the outside looking in (ie. not being in the TWW at the moment, so having some clarity about the whole thing) HPTs are really evil, and I am annoyed with myself for using them all the time, because they do my head in. Will try and stay clear of them this time around - although I appear to be lucky because AF usually arrives around the time I'm feeling like poas. Lucky or unlucky, not sure about that one :D

I've been reading your recent posts and can say:

Sammiejam, I feel for you and your painful EPU. And by far the most pain I've had in my bbs was the 10 days after my Pregnyl trigger shot. It was like daggers from the inside of my nipples. Ow! I hope you're recovering okay.

SpringValley - I'm with you in having my mug shot stuck up at local shops & chemists with a big sign saying - DO NOT SELL TO THIS WOMAN SHE HAS AN ADDDICTION!

Theresep - I wouldn't worry too much about 'symptoms' When I got my BFP I had no symptoms at all. I never had morning sickness or sore boobs for the whole of the pregnancy

LondonMiss - It's funny to think if blokes could be pregnant, they suffer enough with 'manflu' imagine what they would be like!!

Sammiejam - So sorry to hear about your EPU it's not nice at any rate let alone if they had to manipulate your insides

Trubabe - How did your blood test go??

AFM - Still no AF but cramping is still there, no other symptoms to report but as I said I didn't have any last time either. Only one more day to go, I've got a nice bottle chilling in the fridge so if it is confirmed as BFN I can enjoy a BIG glass!!

what I'd really like is a charity to produce POAS, then I'd feel less bad about buying them rather than supporting big pharma's with my addiction

.................up at 6.29 with barking puppy, did a POAS, forgot about it and fed dog, came back - mid pink line - not as dark as the test one, but not faint either. Cant remember if your crinone or pregnal so, if your on crinone - it doesnt affect poas test, pregnal will stay in the body for up to a week at the longest but the + gets weaker not STRONGER so

YEEHAAA! Things are looking good!

I did another test today ( I bought a 3 pack - dont wanna waste them!)

Good news - it came back with a very faint positive. Bad news - it could still be my pregnyl 1000 dosage from early Monday morning.

I am getting very mild cramping ever now and then (sorta comes and goes) - I am wondering if its normal or if its my body fighting the pregnyl and trying to make AF arrive. CM is up a bit, but this could be anything. I am trying not to look into it too much.

I must say, I'm feeling VERY proud of myself! I have not poas at all this month!!! I don't think I would deal with the positive on the stick then a negative on the blood test. Plus I'm also on pregnyl and my last one was Sun night so I think it might be still in my system.

AFM - boobs still a little sore, slight cramping but not much, has pretty much gone now from this morning. Kind of feel sick in my tummy, but think that may be from anticipation more than anything else.

It's going to be a LONG morning between having my bt and getting the results. Dh is at work and we've also got a 3 1/2 yr old so I've arranged to go play at a friends house to keep busy. She knows what we're going through so if it's bad news she'll have a vino or two waiting in the fridge for me!!! :lol:
