Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to let you know that my BT today was a BFN :(
Moving straight on to a last cycle after AF arrives in the next couple of days (after stopping the pessaries) before we move on April 16.
Kyles, hanging out to hear how you've gone!! Everything still pretzelled for you!!!

Missc::hug: i am so sorry, in a way im kinda glad i got AF that phone call really S**ks. Hope you are ok. Where are you going to live the uk, is it permanant ?
Saph: beware the POAS post pregnyl, last month i was testing positive, although very weak line 5 days post pregnyl injection. I think the best way if you really want to is to do a succession of POAS and look for it getting darker or lighter. Good luck.
Carla: sorry dont know the answer to that one, at the IVF talk i went to they said implantion generallt takes a couple of days, but thats with embies, so dont know if its different. All the very best though.

Carla MP, i asked this morning when went for my transfer, it takes a day for embie to settle in and then a day to implant. So your embie is well and truly implanted! YAY! I also had a 5 day blasty transferred. All my hopes are pinned on this one as the rest stopped growing, so dont have any for the freezer (again)! Its a beaut embie though and fell in love with it straight away! Wishing you all the best!

Well it is a big BFN for me too - I would have loved to give you all some great news to help inspire you all but this was not the month for me :(
Miss C - I am so sorry - cycle buddy - bad result for both of us :hug: I have to stop pessaries too and then ring clinic to organise day 21 appointment before we can start next cycle - looks like april for me too - maybe we will both have much better luck next time
Scooby - I even wore a green top and had a green lucky charm necklace but even the luck of the irish on st paddy's day was not enough unfortunately.
Overall, I feel fine - I had a feeling this would be a negative so I had mentally prepared myself. In saying that, I am still going to treat myself to a big greasy hamburger with mayo for dinner tonight and maybe even a glass of wine later :)
I just wanted to thank everyone in the 2WW for all your support, kind wishes and baby dust that has been thrown my way - this journey is a lot easier when you have other people to talk to who are in the same situation :grouphug:
Oh Kyles, so sorry, well there is nothing left for us to do but drink a few pints of guinness, saying as you already have your green on!!!!! Hugs, hope your doing ok, good luck in april. :hug:

Carla, yes my BT is the 28.03! DH and I go away for Easter Long W/end so at least have a distraction in between! I have promised myself and my little embie that I wont POAS! I will wait till the BT, otherwise I will go nuts! I would say your little embie is nicely implanted by now! My little embie should be hatching today ready for implantation tomorrow! Its nice to know what's going on and to visualise it! Keep talking to my embie! I am already attached!
Question for any of you that are using Crinone ... do you find that it tends to leak out. I dont know if that is normal. No real symptoms yet except for the odd twinge and sensitive BBs but I know that's the crinone! Its going to be hard to not start reading into things! This 2WW really does your head in right! I keep trying to be positive and I hate it when a negative thought pops into my head ... have to try really hard to zap it and not let that thought snowball! Fun fun fun!

Lucky you to go away..I just put in for 1 weeks holidays in April regardless of my results next week!
Crinone..yes I have used it before....yes it does leak out....but I didnt find it horrible liek others are saying....I really didnt have an issue. I am on progesterone pesseries at the moment at night...my FS said i didnt need them but told him I wanted to anyway to give it every chance..not sure whether it will make a difference. Now they are disgusting..you have to lie down for at least half and hour with those as they dissolve and they leak...yuk....its like oily stuff!! sorry TMI!!!
Do you think I am supposed to feel anything by now. I have some pain down below and feel like something is pushing on my belly button. I only had my transfer on Friday so not sure whether I would at this stage....you feel anything?:confused:

I am not really feeling much at the moment as was feeling pretty shocking on the lead up to transfer as was severly bloated and in pain. My ovaries still feeling full. Last time on the crinone I was getting cramping, but now have only noticed some slight twinges, but dont know what to make of it! I have also been feeling nauseas prior to transfer at times so its kind of hard to tell with all the drugs being pumped through our bodies + the procedure we have been through! Just keep feeling anxious on and off! that's the hardest part! And you?

Yer I kow what you mean, Iwas like that too after my EPU then transfer.
Im on my 3rd FET so no drugs for me this time thankgod or the last time....so I was able to go back to back on my period instead of waiting another month..straight into the next transfer.
i feel alittle odd but liek oyu said I think it may be the anxiousness kicking in and going then coming back and going again....
Its hard to stay positive after so many BFN's but maybe this it it...FOR BOTH OF US!!!!
I am finding myself not wanting to get excited or not really thining too hard about it allthis time, I think it might be trying not to think negative....we will soon see wont we.
7 more sleep for me and 10 more for you baby face...we can do it!!

Carla and Mon - Hope you're both doing ok in your TWW. I wish I could speed time up for both of you, and I hope you're hanging in there! :fingerscrossed: I had terrible oily discharge with the pessaries too - I think it's fairly normal, despite how annoying it is! Didn't have as much trouble with the Crinone though.
Thank you to everyone for your messages after my BFN - they've helped me a lot and I really appreciate the support. It makes such a difference to have you all here to help deal with the aftermath :)

Well Im still in limbo until tomorrow. Getting my levels checked tomoz to see if they have increased considerably. I dont know what to expect. I havent had any more spotting . levels last week were 208 so pray we see a nice increase.

How is everyone today? I thnk Im ok....I dont seems to be as anxious this time round for some reason...is it the fact Im over it all or is my body going through something it has never been through before..so is that a GOOD sign??
I have no idea but what I do know is i dont want to get all excited and my hopes ups incase it turns out to be the same results as the last 2 transfers......

I did HPT this morning 11 dpo and got a neg - af is due Friday but I am pretty sure I am bust too.
How long exactly is this going to take? Miss C thanks for your lovely words - I just never thought I would have 6 tries to get pregnant once !
I have 2 embryos left in freezer. ill try them one at a time but then I am going to insist that if I have to have another EPU that they take them to blast.... this is getting silly now.......... has anyone heard about the genetic testing? i am considering this as well....

BTW with your transfers are they not growing them out to blasty. Apparently they can do this too. Are they just thawing and implanting? What day were they frozen on! My GF had one of her embies thawed at 2 days and they grew it out to 5 days when they de-frosted and she is now PG. But there are also many ppl that fall PG on a 2-3 day embie! I hope you dont have to go through another stim cycle hun! So give those embies are shot!
Hi Carla, glad you arent so anxious today. I'm not as anxious today either for some reason. Yesterday kept getting these rushes of anxiety. Was a bit overwhelmed last night as had dinner at my mums and every1 was so positive that this time around this will be the one for me! Its so nice when every1 is positive! I just dont want to crush them either - thus being overwhelmed! Anyway am focussing on my little embie - nicknamed Minnie Mon. Have had a few crampy sensations today - its probably the crinone, but its probably also my little MM implanting itself! Thankgoodness work aint stressful, as am trying to remain calm and not stressed.
Nik - GL for your BT today! Sending you lots and lots of sticky vibes. I am sure your HCG levels are rising beautifully! Its one waiting fest after another isnt it!

ifeel overwhelmed at times aswell and like you dont want to disappoint anyone with the BFN.....this is why we opted not to tell anyone when our results would be...except mum and my sister of course..just felt like too much pressure to impress. i know no one actually feels that way but it would be the best if we could turn aroound to everyone and say it was a BFP!!!
Im cramping alittle today like period pain...not due till Saturday and never get pain until after AF so not sure..Im trying not to panic.
Hey hun its probably the crinone/pessaries. I have been getting a little bit of cramping too. I usually get the odd twinge before AF so its not really the same. It does your head in doesnt it! I cant concentrate on work today!
I just want to know! I havent told which day I am testing for same reason! Ahh and time keeps dragging! I'll keep dreaming for now.

Waiting, don't lose hope yet. 11DPO is early. HPT's are only about 50-60% accurate at 11DPO, depending on the brand. Friday is the day that you can look at a HPT and know a little bit more clearer what's going on, and *maybe* trust the result more, but never 100% until you've had that BT. Please try not to read too much into it at the moment, hun. Give it til Friday - I still have hope for you!
I understand when you say you never expected it to take 6 goes. I'm only at go # 4 and I seriously didn't think it would be this long either. No one expects it. But FS keeps telling me it's really a matter of luck. It can take a year, it can take two, but most women will get pregnant when they continue with IVF treatment.It just takes so much courage and strength to keep going, hun. And it gets harder each time you get knocked down and have to get up again.
When comparisons are done large scale and long term, blastocyst transfers and day 2/3 transfers actually come up with about the same success rate, so it's completely your decision to want to take your embryos to blasties. Be aware that growing embryos to blastocysts means that you won't have as many embryos as when you would have at day 2, but at the same time, your blasties could well be stronger than your day 2 embies. There's a lot to think about and balance out, for you personally.
The genetic testing has pros and cons (it can't detect every genetic problem if an embryo has them), and most clinics don't like to do genetic testing until there's been implantation failure 10 or so times, especially if there doesn't look to be any likely cause for the continued implantation failure.
I know it makes you feel like something is wrong and that you need to do something to fix it hun, but I promise you, I could pretty much guarantee it has nothing to do with anything being wrong. So far, you just haven't had the right embryo. It's hard to handle, especially because of pain you go through each time it doesn't work. It's just luck. It's so hard to have to put everything down to that, but that's the biggest thing affecting the outcome at the moment. Just plain good or bad luck. Many hugs, and hang in there, waiting. You've just got to keep at it and keep being strong. It will be so sweet when you are holding that baby in your arms. If it helps, your feelings are understood, and not just by me :hugs:

Been keeping an eye on everyones progress, just been a little busy lately.
Collo - what fantastic news hope youhave a happy and healthy preg.
Waiting - wait a bit longer for HPT 11 days is a bit early. I will wait until BT on tues. Just hang in there. I sixtimes seems alot but i know someone who took 13 times with IVF.
Well as for me I have terrible ovary pain that is stopping me from sleeping they say that it is all the drug and that it is a good sign that it i getting worse. Great!.
I also asked if it would go away after my last injection which was today and they said that if I was pregnant it would only get worse. I am using panadol and heat packs now and i cant sleep, but i guess it is worth all the pain in the end.
Waiting, Carla my cycle buddies only 5 more sleeps.

Well my ovary pain has changed today to more like AF pain so not very positive anymore in fact just waiting now for Af to arrive. Will probably be tuesday night. All this waiting and speculating really does your head in. You become so intune with your body that every little twinge has your flip flopping from yes to no. Although when i was preg with my son i had AF pain just like normal didn't know i was preg until I was seven weeks. So who knows I really need to stop thinking about it. :wall:Have decided that if we get a BFN we are going to have a break for a while. Two reasons the travelling got to me ( three hour round trips to the clinic for scans with a screaming child in the back did me in) and for a more selfish reason that many of you might not understand I do not want another christmas baby.

I was feeling quite off yesterday.....nauseas all night but I think it would Be too early to have any of that...I think Im just anxious......still a few pains...hope its not AF....... Spent alot of the night awake then cried myself back to sleep....this is just doing my head in....I just want to know either way but refuse to POAS. DH and I said we would POAS ONLY the day before the BT if AF hasnt arrived. Hope I dont crack.

I had two day 5 blastys transferred last Tuesday in an interesting FET, we had 4 day 1 embryos frozen from our last OHSS cycle where we didn't get to transfer so we still had to thaw and then grow to blast before transfer and were very lucky at least 2 made it! :dance:
So now we wait, DH and i have been on holidays all week and got home this morning. Wishing you all BFP's!!

Well af was due yesterday and hasn't come - but I am cramping like its on the way. I suspect something tried to happen but low hcg again - like a chemical pregnancy.....
I just sent DP out to get a HPT just to make sure. I don't want to get my hopes up given i got a BFN 12 dpo.....
Its probably just a low hcg - something I think tried to happen as my skin broke out terribly - like the last time when it was a chem preg.... oh well I guess it will be what it will be - but I am not confident !!!!

:lol:Well i think I am out as well. My ovary pain has changed to AF cramps. Tempted to do POAS but it is only 3 days since my last injection so it will show up still. Well I guess if it comes back neg than i am not preg. And i could enjoy a big easter drink. Well i must say I am going insane this time. The TWW is going to do me in. I guess there are alot of decisions to be made that are resting on the outcome of the Bt on Tuesday. Going to have a lie down feel rather yuck.:(
Oh by the way waiting,i have had a lovely break out as well. Doesn't it make the whole thing just great not only are your hormonesraging like a fifteen year old you now have the face of one as well. Lovely!!!:lol:
saph, when is your blood test due, hun? Don't give up hope yet! Cramps can be a sign of rising progesterone levels, and not just because of AF about to arrive! Breaking out is another sign of rising hormone levels - it's too hard to read into the cause of this, so just hang in there - it's not over yet! :pray:
waiting - AF hasn't arrived on time! This is the best sign at the moment! As I said to saph, cramping like AF doesn't necessarily mean AF, hun. Hang in there - only a few more days til BT. POAS really can confuse things and mess with you. Please try not to read too much into anything yet. Just got to take one day at a time until you get to BT :hug: You can't know what has happened until you see those HCG levels on a BT, hun. :pray:
Carla, I don't know if you'll see this, but I'm sending many warm wishes your way. I hope that the spotting is not what you think it is (like I've said above to both saph and waiting, it's not over till BT!), but if this cycle turns out to be bust, I hope that you're alright and we really hope to see you again soon so we can continue to support you. :hug:
Miss C thanks for the encouraging words. It is so easy to become negative in this game. With my DS I waited for three weeks for Af to arrive with the same cramping and guess what I was already seven weeks.This arvo cramping has gone back to in my ovaries and is more like stitch when i move the wrong way. Oh role on tuesday this is making me insane. :wall: Was looking at bed for my DS today incase i need to kick him out of cot but decided to wait till tues not point upsetting the apple cart if it is for nothing.
