Janet: it doesn't get easier does it. Hoping for a BFP for you with your FET.
Mindy: Sorry hun. Wishing you all the best with your FET and hoping you are UTD before 2009 begins.
WTH: Welcome hun. So so glad you made it here. I think there are some threads on helping implantation around the place. Perhaps try doing a search. Gentle exercise to keep the blood following to your uterus would be good. I steer clear of stimulants, alcohol (no brainer) and hot baths. Interesting about the warm/cold food idea. I must admit I have been craving crunchy salads this last week and I reckon feed the craving to help with the mental stress
Hayley: Welcome too Grub Hope this is the one and only cycle for you hun. The cottage cheese thing can happen once there is a bit of a build up of crinone in your vagina. My nurse told me that you can digitally remove it every couple of days (probably just prior to your next application) which also helps reduce the feeling of being 'stuffed' with the stuff. HTH!
Mesgmum: Thanks for getting to know you a bit more and about your lovely birds. It is great to have an avvy that reflects bits about us. I love my blue bicycle - can you tell Can't wait to see you with that pg belly and your beautiful parrot and DD.
MissGothePies: One sleep to go! I hope that your HPT yesterday was ok. THinking of you. :saaf:
KellyD: Good luck today hun.
AFM: my BT is on Wednesday. I am at that stage of the TWW Where I keep asking myself "Am I/Aren't I? Shouldn't I be feeling something by now?" Anyway as long as the witch keeps at bay I am in with a chance.
xx
hayley: crinone is horrible stuff, yes dishcharge is normal and it gave me all the symtoms of being pregnant. not same for everyone. good luck.
dusty: thanks for your thoughts, count down to wed for your test. good luck
afm: af has hit with a vengeance today, i hate her so. looking at doing another FET in dec.
Well I probably should have come in here last week but oh well - I still have a week to go and am starting to go through the "am I/aren't I" stage and its torture. I have been having horrible cramps, the "runs" about twice a day since Saturday and I wish I could lay down without my poor boobs hurting. Damn this crinone. My blood test is next Monday and I have decided to get them to leave a message on the answering machine at home so I am not finding out at work. Good luck to all. I hope there are a few BFP before xmas!
Just wondering girls - do many of you POAS? If so when do you do this? HOw many days after transfer?

JDM: so sorry about AF arriving. At least you can jump straight into a new cycle, so some postive out of this wretched experience.
Dusty: How are you coping, going insane yet???
Welcome to our new ladies and ggo luck in you TWW.
AFM: Well did a POAS yesterday and BFN, don't know if/when AF is due as this cycle was pushed back due to my lining issues, but tomorrow is day 35 so I think it is due then. BB's only slightly sore (much less than last week) but have had no early spotting like last time before AF arrives. No confident this is the one for me either, but holding out for the BT on Thursday and if a definite BFN hoping that AF arrives ASAP, so I can fit another cycle before Xmas.
I'll keep you all updated if anything changes. to all our girls still in the waiting game.
Grub - hi there test date buddy. I had a Day 6 hatched blastocast transferred. It had been biopsied to check for chromosonal abnormalities due to my MC history. Sorry can't help you with the Crinone - I am on Pregnyl. Very impressed with your philosophical positive thinking!
Dusty - the warm food thing is a Chinese concept. Basically the idea is to steer clear of cold and raw foods. Not sure if I have managed the latter, as I have been dosing up on pineapple and strawberries. I have done some googling and the pineapple core, strawberries and walnuts (for Omega 3) are all I have managed to stumble upon. I agree - feed your cravings. Your body knows best! Not long until your BT - keep away wicked witch!
Gargy and Miss Magpie - Good luck today !
Kasam - my BT is also next Monday. I had my second Pregnyl shot on Saturday so figure it will be well and truly out of my system next Sunday morning. DH and I have agreed to POAS that first thing that day. I just don't want to be sitting by the phone alone Monday afternoon and have the news broken to me. Would rather find out with DH there for support. I do not know about the side FX of Crinone but hope some of what you are going through are early PG signs
Megsmum - happy Monday. Have sent you a rather long-winded PM. Make sure you go pee beforehand
KellyD - I am hoping that PG test is not sensitive enough and that you just need a couple more days. At least you have a backup to get in a cycle before Christmas. Wishing you all the best for your BT on Thursday.
AFM - I unfortunately had a very stressful morning yesterday (Day 8) and fear it may have affected my chances of implantation. Done a bit of research and learned stress can lower progesterone levels (due to increased cortisol production to combat the stress) and also it can make your uterus have spasms. I did have lovely cramping all day 7 on Saturday (the day after transfer), which was expected, but have felt nothing since. Was just wondering if anyone could PLEASE tell me how long they cramped for after transfer??? I am really worried that I have already blown it

: posted at same time
Hi WTH - I had minor cramping the day of transfer then nothing else until 3 - 4 days before my BT when it was huge cramping - v. painful. I thought it was AF coming even though I had never had any cramping before (put it down to the stim'd ovaries etc). The morning on the BT was the worst. My test was due on a Monday, but I asked to be tested on the Sunday instead (didn't want to be at work for the results). They agreed under the proviso that I was aware that the results could be borderline and I may need to test again on the Monday anyway.
I had a day 5 blasty and no crinone or anything. All I ended up with was the shot of Pregnyl for trigger and another 2 shots of 1500 pregnyl over the following 2 weeks.
I made my husband take his camera and take a photo of the blasty before they transferred it back (REALLY wish I had a photo of the eggs prior to fertilisation) emailed the photo to a guy that does photos on canvas and received the completed canvas back 2 days before the BFP. DH said I shouldn't get my hopes up and I should wait until we got the news....I think there is something to be said for having high hopes ;-)

I am hoping on board the TWW rollercoaster today, IUI is at 3pm, DH and I are all ready to go, I have been jabbing away with Puregon 100 iu so my follies will be nice and juicy for todays transfer, I feel excited and am happy to join you ladies
Looking forward to hearing everyone's results for today
Just wanted to quickly pop in and tell you that AF arrived early on Saturday morning. Im pretty shattered. Have been crying off and on since then.
I went for my blood test this morning and asked the nurse what the next step would be as I dont have any frozen embryos. My FS already had a script ready to go for my next cycle. Unfortunately the clinics close over the Christmas/New Year period and dont open until 19 January so EPU cant be done before then, but everything else can.
Thanks for all your support and well wishes. Hope to be back here in January.
Good luck to all. My thoughts are with you. and lots of
MissM: So sorry that AF has showed her face and that you have to wait till the new year to start again. Make sure you take some time out for yourself and if there is any positive, you can at least have Xmas food & drinks as much as you like and then focus on 2009 being your year.
What's happening girls. We had such a promising start with c2w and Alloy's BFP's. Now JBM and MissM have had dissappointment. Come on Dusty, you and me this week, lets see who can get another BFP.
JBM and Mindy80 - Hugs ladies, I'm so sorry that the stupid witch arrived - blah to her! Hoping very much that you have success next time around.
Hayley - Yay for positive thinking! I hope this is the one for you Sorry I can't help with the Crinone either, I'm doing Pregnyl shots.
Dusty - Oooo, only 2 more sleeps! Lots and lots of sticky vibes coming your way...I know how you're feeling too, I'm also starting to think should I be feeling pg by now or what?! And I'm losing a bit more of that positivity that I had last week just worrying how I'm going to deal with a BFN if that's what I get. But I'm glad you enjoyed hearing about my parrots So give it up hey - what's your story with your blue bike?? I really like your avi too BTW, how rude of me not to say that last week!
Gargy - Good luck today!
kasam - All the best for the rest of your TWW! Those side effects sound awful, but I hope they lead you to a BFP!
KellyD - I would try not to lose hope yet, if you aren't having your BT until Thurs it may well just be a little early to POAS still. Good luck and hope you are surprised with a BFP on Thurs.
WTH - Just sent you a note back Try not to stress, that's a lovely encouraging post that Nixon did there for you!
wouldloveabubba - Good luck with your IUI today!
Tania - I'm so very sorry to hear you got AF, that just sucks Take care of yourself and hope that the next month or so goes really quickly so you can start that new cycle
AFM, well I don't really know what to say just not feeling so confident today (Dusty you need to kick me I think!) The Pregnyl symptoms have pretty much gone, but I've had a really blocked nose the last few nights now so between that and having to get up to go to the loo I haven't had much sleep. So maybe because I am tired that is why I'm not feeling so good about things today - I don't know...I hate the TWW I just want Friday to arrive so I know!
Megsmum - just a quick one for you - I found I was getting up once or twice a night to pee at around the 2nd week of the TWW and still busting when I got up for work at 6.20am (and may be TMI - but bad constipation was also another indicator for me - used to be very very regular).
I also started to lose ope towards the end of the TWW - it's easy to be positive at the start after all the BT is still 2 weeks away - it's when the reality of getting close to finding out hits and you realise that you are human and need to start to protect yourself that it gets hard to be happy go lucky about the whole thing all of the time.
Personally, I don't think that being 100% positive all the time is healthy ;-). Also, when you do get your BFP you might realise that deep down you didn't think it was going to happen anyway and be totally shocked and happy. At least that's what happened for me.
Not long to go now.....good luck forthe rest of the TWW.
wouldluvabubba - good luck with today's IUI - I hope you have a sticky one!
MissMagpie - I'm so sorry that AF showed up. Hopefully the first cycle of the new year will be a good one as I'm hoping that I'm able to join you for that one.
Meg'sMum - I had the same experience as Nixon during the TWW - at first I had almost stabbing pains and then I had to pee a lot and was constipated - and I got a BFP which didn't work for other reasons at 8 weeks - but I got the BFP and saw a heartbeat - so I hope you are on your way.
Where's the Hope - I have had cramping since about Midnight on the Monday night of my transfer - some days is good (like today its only mild) and other days it is pretty horrific (I spent half of Saturday alternating between the toilet and lying in a ball because it helped ). My "baby" was transferred on the Monday afternoon and my EPU was Friday morning - I am not sure what stage bubs would have been.
We were lucky and our clinic gave us a pic of the "baby" before it was transferred on disk.
I have read some of you girls have pregnal - what is that? Is it an alternative to crinone?
Kasam - thanks for sharing your info about cramping. Sounds promising. I hope your little bubba is snuggling in
Nixon - I am on Pregnyl, too, which makes symptom-searching a bit confusing. That is amazing you have that photo of your Blasty. Something to show off at your future child's 21st!
Megsmum - for some stupid reason I can't access my PM's ATM Would love to read what your wrote. You always know the right thing to say... I am sorry you are feeling a bit unsure, too. I think the blocked nose at this late stage is great as your Pregnyl must surely be wearing off by now?
Tania - I am sorry this cycle did not work out for you. It is great your clinic is able to at least make a move on things before it reopens in January. I have already broached that subject on my end (if things do not work out) and it is looking increasingly difficult for me to START a short cycle before late January.
Wouldloveabubba - welcome to the 2ww and GOOD LUCK!
