Murph - so sorry it wasnt your go this month...take care...it's pretty tough going and the emotions go crazy
wouldloveabubba- i know it can be frustrating re the frosties...and i have felt like coaching our embies along too...and saying 'well are you sure they arent good enough??"...it only takes one tho..
Just wondering if I can join this thread? I am on metformin and actively TTC since Apr 08 (ie. charting, fertility awareness). Started TTC oct 08. I am officially in my TWW (4dpo) .
You are both so very welcome in here...Goodluck to both of you...
WLB - After so many IVF cycles I have learned long ago that I cannot become attached to the embies. For me they become real after ET. You dont sound mad or controlling at all. We all cope in our own way...
Possums - you are a real trouper with all your love and support...
Kelly - all the best for next weeks scan..
Curly - hope you're holding up ok. Are you going to cave over the weekend with a POAS?
Ontrack - all the best for Monday - and esp if you also do the POAS on the weekend which I think you might..
Minniemouse - Thank you for your support, I really appreciate your advice, I hope your afternoon got better and you feel more positive as they day goes on
Murph, I'm sorry it didn't happen this month. sending a big your way
minniemouse, hope you're feeling better and more positive. I just had my final shot of pregnyl last night. I heard it will just give you false + as it contains hcg, so I'll do my best to wait until BT. No promise though...
Murph01 - sorry to hear that there was no "beginners luck" for you this cycle ... hopefully one of those frosties will be the ONE for you. Hope you enjoyed your Mum's 60th today and AF didn't join the party ... if the drugs are going to hold it off for that long I hope they held it off for the extra day so you could enjoy your social life ...
curlygirl - hope the weekend is bearable good luck for your test on Monday ...
wouldloveabubba - for you as you work through your feelings. I'd love to be able to see what goes on in the lab because I have scientific training and I think the whole process is amazing. Like you said I found it a super special privilege to see my embie on the screen prior to transfer ... mine was a blast (day-5). Re. feelings about the loss rate ... I guess I was measuring up our performance against all the stats ... we started out with above average fertilisation rate and pretty good flow through to day 2 but then over half didn't make it to blast so I was a bit disappointed after such a good start. I'm focussing on the positive that I don't have to go through all the months of transfers of those ones that were never going to make it.
Samantha - how did you go with your BT today ...
minniemouse - just read almost the whole thread to find out where your are in your tww ... on the downward slide to BT day now I'll try to hold out until Mon to POAS ... my logic is that if I wasn't in the middle of nowhere I'd have my results same day so POAS isn't really cheating ...
Belle75 - welcome aboard ...
Ruth08 - thinking of you ...
Mels77, Possums, Paula, Neptune, Lulu, BecE, KellyD and everyone else in the thread - hi
BulieJ, Bel, Kahlan, LNB - keep spreading your around here, it's wonderful to have you keeping an eye on us all
AFM - another weekend looming but at least there is a BT on the other side of it for me ; I had a pretty serious session in the garden today ... wondering the whole time if I should really be working up such a sweat ... if I have a sticky one on board it will just have to be super sticky to keep up with my lifestyle!!
Wow congratulations Sam! You are very blessed. Wishing you a breezy 9 months ahead.
Murph, how are you going? I hope the next cycle brings you the good news.
KellyD, wow back into busisness again.. that's great. I've got a very good vibe about this next cycle of yours.... bring on the BFP.
Lulu, hope you are feeling better... TWW can bring us intense axiety, fear, hope, joy with every changes in our body... just hang in there.
Mels, miracles do happen, hope you get a BFP even though you are not on treatment
LNB, yay... will see in the other subforum... I am still not sure if I should go there as yet... thought I wait until I get a progress BT result next week before I do anything. I am still checking myself for signs of blood everytime I feel heaviness down there... guess I can't get that fear out of my system just yet.
To everyone else, good luck.
I have a feeling that Nov would bring much more BFP than Oct.
