Oh my good Lord. It's 1349 - I'm going to say that slowly. One thousand, three hundred and forty nine!!! Nicely up from 214 so I am well and truly up the duff.

The nurse warned me that I might need another blood test (good grief) as a precaution as I've been testing so early but it's unlikely and then a scan a week tuesday. Huge sense of relief.

Thank you for all your support and kind words, it's really meant the world to me with a not-especially-touchy-feely-and-often-on-business-trips-husband to chat to. I'll be lurking, but on hols in NZ from Friday but will pop in on my return. Lots of luck to you all. x

Motherhood to be.... here is a sympton chart that I found on the net and used...it gives you a bit of an indication on when things happen.

5 day transfer-
-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

Correct me if Im wrong though, I believe we would be a day ahead because we actually did a transfer late on day 6. That means it was already completely hatched when it was implanted. So where you have said 1dpt - Blastocyst hatches out of its shell, for us that would be 0dpt. That would also mean that because today we are 3dpt that should mean were at the stage of "Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining".

FX still. DH has been so positive about all of this. Its really cute to see.
