    Hi everyone

Looking forward to getting to know a few new friends in the TWW

It's been a while since I have ventured into the TWW thread.

I had 2 day 3 (8 & 5 cell) embryo's transfered yesterday, followed by accupuncture and a leisurely day on the couch.

Sprinkiling some and sending heaps of to everyone xx

    Hi all

WLAB ~ great that you are in here again. All the best for this IVF cycle! Hoping your bubba sticks

Cass ~ Sounding positive, hope you can hang in there until Friday and GL for your BT. FX

AFM ~ Im in here on a natural cycle, I ovulated yestie or the day before (did Maybe baby saliva test and I could tell also just from my body) and pretty sure we have dtd at the right time. Its a long shot but it has happened before for others following IVF - so I'll be it will happen for us.

    GL to everyone

Krikket- Thanks for that. I would have been less apprehensive if I had that BT and knew my body had the hormones to support a pregnancy.

Cass- Glad to see you made your into here. My BT is thursday. Let's cyber hold hands together through the next few days.

Loops- Fx for a natural surprise for you.

WLAB- Welcome to the 2WW. Yesterday sounds like it went well for you. God bless acupuncture. I had more yesterday too, 5dpt.

AFM- I totally convinced myself AF was arriving today. I had some brown spotting yesterday and cramping on and off yesterday and today. The evil witch is teasing me real bad. I just wish she would arrive and put me out of my misery. Or else disappear altogether, for at least 9 months. I also caved and bought some pee sticks . I'm trying to hold out til Tuesday unless AF arrives first.

Star-bright - really hope its not AF and implantation spotting - sounds like it could be the later, any other symptoms?

I think I might cave and POAS tomorrow 7DP5DT

I just want to know, I have prepared myself mentally for a negative. I'm just a POAS addict with a craving!

    5 day transfer-
-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
    fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

Starbright, not sure if you have seen this post before, I do have one on a 3DT, I will have to type it in .

    Feeling crappy.

    Hi Everyone,
I dunno about anyone else, but I fell pretty crappy, I have noticed that I am getting the runs nearly every evening or so and have had terrible back ache and almost like period cramps - sometimes I feel like I am bout to get a UTI aswell.

I dunno what I can put it down to apart from the stupid pessaries, has anyone else had this problem??

    I'm out!
I didn't need to POAS today. I took my temp this morning and it had dropped.
    2 hours later, AF arrived.
I've had a really good cry- to the point where I gave myself a massive headache.
I left work so I can mope for the rest of today and will pull myself together tomorrow.

Krikkit ~ Ive had the same thing the last few days. I do feel like ive got a bit of a cold too and I think im just picking up bugs. Not sure if it has anything to do with treatment - suppose it could. Im in country Vic and there are a lot of bugs going around at the moment too so I thought I just might have caught stuff. Dont know if it is the same in Perth.

SB ~ once again im so sorry hun

    Hey Krikkit,

I feel crappy too. Just tired, drained, very hard to be motivated at work, keep having 'blonde' moments - no offense to our fair hair coloured friends! I don't have the runs (tho I think that was one of the listed possible side effects) but need to pee a lot more than usual (EVERY night at least once..driving me crazy waking up), real sore boobs and am not sleeping well at all. Have been really cold but that is me normally, have been sleeping with PJ's - DP says I have bad curculation, but then last night I had nothing on and was such a sweaty icky mess.

I put it down to the drugs and all the emotional turmoil going on!

Thanks Ladies, Nix that sounds like me!

I felt crappy last night and today - I am still unsure if I should take two panadol. trying to avoid anything unnecessary - think I have enough stuff floating around inside me at the moment.

Not trying to jinx myself, but how long after a transfer can you have a FET?

I know that they made me wait one full normal period before I was allowed to do a stim cycle again.

Don't know the answer on the "how long after a transfer can you have a FET?" - but good question and I can't believe I have not been asking it! Think I am too hooked up thinking about this week.

In regards to taking panadol and stuff - I don't know - I have been so strict on the "act as though you are pg" and not eaten anything on the list and certainly not drinking! I know in "real life" most ladies would have been "baby dancing / horizontal folk dancing / whatever you want to call it" during the last month and could be drinking as normal not even knowing what may be forming inside and all works out OK. But with everything we are putting ourselves through, I am taking every precaution necessary. Have not had a drink for about 10 weeks now. Generally this is OK & not so hard - but dinner at friends on Sat night, good food, good company & fantastic wine - and I just had to sit there and say no! Grrrrr!! So hard!!! This better work I tell ya!!!

Nix - I am doing everything to keep myself from POAS. My mind is running 100 miles an hour, and I just thinking that it didn't work, so I don't get dissapointed with the bad news - IYKWIM - so preparing for next round doing FET.

We only have 3, so hoping at least one defrosts ok.

I know that even if I do POAS today it would be a false positive ( I did my pregnyl injeciton this morning!)

You know what urks me tho - when I got my last call from the clinic informing me it was negative - I knew it was negative before she had even finished her first sentence. The lady on the other end of the phone had that "sad/sorry" voice on - very annoying.

Krikik - I think it depends on the clinic but my FS told me you have to have a cycle off after a full stim but you can then do FET back to back, although I am not sure how many FET they will let you do before taking a cycle off.... I think for sanity reasons 3 in a row would do me before a break! Also, most GP's and FS say it's ok to take paracetamol is small doses during pregnancy. You might want to call your clinic to confirm but I would suggest that if it will improve your state of mind it could be a positive thing.

Nix - I had very similar symptoms to you in my TWW. I think it is mainly from all the extra drugs and hormones in your system. I also had to get up to pee during the night which I think was from the bloating which restricted the size of my bladder for a while.

Starbright - again I am so sorry that things didn't work out this cycle.

Question from me - I saw a chinese medicine specialist for acupuncture this morning. She wants to put me on chinese herbs in the luteral phase (TWW) of my FET. She promised me it's fine and I plan to check with my FS but I wanted to check if anyone in here has or is doing the same thing?

Mift - I am taking TCM in my TWW - it's called Fertility Support, and my accupuncturist gave it to me, it's the first time I am taking them .

Kricket - I have read that some girls on BB go straight into a FET, I hope you dont need it though, I am having Pregnyl as well in this tww, and in a way I am glad, I cant poas. These meds do terrible things to our bowels, I know what you mean

Nix - are you going to poas

starbright - I am so sorry af arrived, I know the feeling hun, and I am glad you left work to regroup
