Hello goodvibes. welcome to the madhouse. When's your blood test? I think mine will be about Oct 14th, but I shall be using some cunning techniques outlined above (see earlier pages) by Seph to try and get it brought forward!! I'm three days in and bored of waiting already. I think sal79 said it in the IUI thread, that this process robs your ability to interpret your own body and it's so true. I am totally shattered. Now, despite the fact that even if I were UTD, it's still an 2 day old egg floating about and not implanted and therefore cannot be having any impact whatsoever, so why why why am I'm interpreting this as a good sign. (and nothing to with the fact that I spent half the night awake convinced I could hear a mouse - not that I found one). It's ludicrous.

insanity beckons. who else is waiting?

londonmiss - got more sleep last night??!! How many times have I been lying in my bed wondering 'what was that noise?!' As it was last night, I awoke to DH pulling the whole duvet/doona off the bed, going to the toilet, returning to stand at end of bed and fling it back on top of me!!!??? I asked what he was doing, he said I don't know! Asked him this morning he said he has a very vague recollection but it be to do with a dream, and he'll tell me when he's home from work!

Yes thanks - better nights sleep. Although I'm feeling flu-ey. Wonder if it's the drugs? Anyone else get this? (actually my main culprit is the aircon at the place I work)

Airplane - I once went out with this lovely lovely young man, and if he'd drunk too much, he had a tendency to sleep walk. One night, convinced he'd got up and walked next door to the bathroom, he'd actually gone one right too far, and ended up peeing all over his hifi (long time ago!) and bedside lamp. He completely denied it in the morning and the only way he did in the end was that nothing worked until it dried out.

just done my pregnyl injection. I must tell MIVF that they have the colour coding the wrong way round, I am sure somebody somewhere is following the instructions and going to be trying to inject themselves with the horse-sized-sucker-up needle, rather than the injection needle!

4 down. Only 14 to go....

    HI Londonmiss,
my blood test is on the 7oct which will be 15dpo. But my luteal phase is normally only 12 days, and seeing that Im on a natural cycle, Im assuming that I should know by the 5th.
Im trying not to focus on every sign,as I dont want to be having psycho-somatic symptoms. But its crazy how the mind just wanders, and I think Ive researched every possible thing online!! Im nervous that I should be feeling more by now, but then I realise that every person is different, and that maybe I wont get any symptoms early on?? Fingers crossed, 7 days to go....

    Me 32 fertile
    DH 37 4% morphology

Don't freak out - lots of people have no symptoms for weeks and weeks. DH with a hangover often has more symptoms than a real pregnant person!

Hey! I had my reasons! (the Clinic put the wrong date on it, I tells you!). I ended up using white-out and changing the date myself, but I had my BT at a pathology lab (not the IVF Clinic) so no one noticed. Besides, making us wait 2 weeks+ is torture and we deserve to bend the rules occasionally!

Good luck ladies, there really is nothing I can say to try and get you through the TWW, because I know advice doesn't work. Just sending lots of sticky vibes to you all.

Hello Ladies, sorry to intrude and it will take me a little time to get to know you ladies, some of you i already know through another thread.
It's come to that stage in my cycle where i am in the dreaded 2WW, so i thought i would stick my nose in here, to help speed up the time.
Wel,l today i had 2x 2 day embies put back...One was an A grade 6 cell and the other a B grade 4 cell... feeling slightly more optimistic...but still apprehensive. I suppose we'll know in 10 days when I POAS...( did i just hear a "NO don't POAS Emerald"!!!) well i am, i am really noooooooo goood at waiting although i did with my first one...but now just running out of patience. Has anyone heard of any success stories with 2 day transfers as my first IVF we went to blast and I felt more confident.
Ladies I wish you all the best of luck and bring on those BFP!!!!

Hello Emerald star and welcome. Hubby is out on the beers and I'm sat on the couch farting like a hippo and watching room with a view. If you ever need to cheer yourself up, I highly recommend the lake scene

    Wink FET today!

Hi everyone, I am new to the site, and am still struggling with all the acronyms!
I am having an FET today! I have three embryos frozen so hope the one thaws ok. This is my 3rd cycle. My doc cancelled the second which was natural as my hormones were so poor, and almost wanted to cancel this one, which is medicated, for the same reason.
We are pushing on, and hopw that this one sticks. . Fingers crossed!

    Smile FET transfer success

Hey Airline, Thanks, it went well.
The one embryo survived the thaw, so didn't have to thaw a second one. It had also had begun 'hatching' out of blastocyst stage, so that's good!
I've been lying around all afternoon. It's funny I feel like it will have a better chance if I am motionless - which I know is completely ridiciulous. Anyway, will see on the 12th how it goes.
Good luck to all you other ladies in waiting too!

Hi Jen - I felt the same at first, I spent the whole time toggling between the main page and the page with the acronyms on.

I realised I'd got through with it when I referred to "my AF" with the doctor, and I was reading my laptop the other day and husband asked me what I was smiling about, and I said "Seph got a BFP" and he looked at me like I was a complete idiot... and then I realised he doesn't know the name or what a BFP is, so he's probably entitled to look at me like that!!

good luck with the FET. How painful is it? We'll have to go to IVF next time which I really don't want to do but there we are

    Hi girls,
So I thought I would post my update today.Im trying not to get discouraged, but I woke up at 4.45am this morning to pee and I had some watery light brown spotting.I had my 1st FET with a blastie on sat, so Im about 10-11dpo and AF isnt due for a couple of days. But I usually spot before I get my period so its not good. Its weird though, sometimes I usually have more pregnancy like symptoms when AF is due, and Ive noticed this month I have less symptoms, and my tummy has been a little strange.
Symptoms so far for the last few days:
*tummy has been growling all day long for about 4 days
*very mild aches(if you could call it that) around ovaries, lower back, under ribs and middle of tummy. I guess a little like ovulation pain crossed with pms.And this morning a few tummy flutters
*the last 2 days I had a side stitch on my right which was very noticeable
*very dry nose with blood, and started bleeding this morning when I blew it at 5am! my nose is very rarely like this
*feel a bit off late last night and early this morning...like af is coming?
    * a little decrease in appetite
Ive had none of the typical pregnancy symptoms like sore bbs or increased appetite, so Im fearing the worst...but praying for the best.
MY DH is not coping with the updates well.I guess nothing has been going right for us this year and its getting to us, but I told him to believe that there's still hope.
My beta is next wednesday, but on my natural cycle my af is due around monday...
