    Embryo Transfer Today!

    Hi girls,

I thought I would introduce myself, I have officially joined the wait today!

I had two fresh embies transferred today and have 5 frozen. This is my first ivf attempt.

It is great to see some BFP's.

To those who have had a disappointment this month my thoughts are with you

Entreat - thanks! This was another fresh cycle. Our first cycle was cancelled as our embryos developed abnormally so we had nothing to transfer - we then did a back to back stim cycle. So was VERY pleased this time to make it to the ET without any hassles!

sonyalouise - yay, glad today went well And two transferred also! Did you have to ask for that or did FS suggest it? Hope you're taking it easy today and that DH is looking after you.

    Hello Sonya. Welcome.

So, I'm 14dpIUI. No AF which is unusual. 3 negative HPTs. Much oddness. I have back ache but no sore boobs, cramping in my stomach still. Why oh why oh why must pregnancy symptoms be the same as PMT? I'm loving the blue spot idea (see earlier pages). Feeling most despondent.

AF arrived overnight. I'm out. We're obliged to go onto IVF now, so I'll be away for a while I guess while we wait for a counselling appointment and do all the tedious paperwork and so on. See you in a few weeks although I will be hovering to see how you go Lise. Good luck.

    to you all

Oh Londonmiss, so sorry to hear that AF turned up hopefully your wait to commence IVF isn't too long and torturous for you. At the very least I hope you can enjoy the time 'off' with yummy soft cheeses and good wine.

    Hi All,

First of all I would like to say congrats to those that have got BFP's in the last few days and sending baby dust to those that are in the tww or have got BFN.

As you may recall on Friday I felt wretched as I took a HPT on the morning of my BT and it came up negative. After crying for hours I found out later that afternoon that the BT came back with a BFP! I was amazed and thrilled. That joy lasted approx 12 hours until the first sign of blood (sorry if TMI). On Saturday I started bleeding, just a little at first but then it got to be just less than my normal period. I have now been bleeding for 2 days and I am back to feeling wretched. My specialist has said to go back for another bt tomorrow morning. At this point I am just so confused.

hey girls. BT this morning confirmed the Was still nervous when i got the call, but all good with hcg of 573 at 17dpo!! Very exciting.

Here are my thoughts on the last two weeks, i wish you all the very very best of luck and thank you for your support. to you all.

    - was told more than 80% of the cells of the blasty survived the de-freeze process
    - the day of transfer my bladder was really, really full to the point where it was painful when she pressed the ultrasound on my stomach. I just drank too much beforehand. The other times I had the two glasses of water an hour before, but it didn't feel full at all.
    - When he did the transfer, the little dot looked like it dropped in totally front and centre, whereas the past 3 all seemed to just sit near the side!
    - The day following the transfer (6dpo) I had slight brown spotting (hardly anything really) which was a bit clotty, which the internet tells me (!!) is probably because the cervix lining was aggravated slightly during the transfer.
    - 7dpo felt really cold and had a really low temperature. My temp is normally low anyway (35.5 - 36) but on this day it was less than 35!.
    - 8 dpo bad diarrhoea
    - 9dpo had a brown discharge (enough to cover a twenty cent piece) which was just like water, no clots or anything. Probably would not have even noticed if I wasn't wearing white undies. Assume was implantation.
    - No other symptoms, no sore boobs, nothing.
    - No drinking coffee or tea with caffeine. No diet drinks or alcohol.
    - Lastly, (and I thought this was the clincher) sex the night before transfer to make the cervix nice and sticky. (TMI).

Jayejaye - we DTD the night before & the night of (so about 5 hours after) transfer. I was prompted into thinking this was a good idea after reading a thread on BB about particular chemicals assisted 'priming' the uterus.

I'm sure that helped! Along with the change of my job, and relaxing on the 'no coffee' rule (I snuck in 2 or 3 short, weak lattes w/ no sugar).

CONGRATS TO YOU!!! & I'm wishing you a joyous & healthy pregnancy!

    Hi Ladies,
Just filling you in on my cycle this month......After Last Pregnyl shot i did 3 HPT's ALL POSITIVE and then.....

( below is what i posted on the 10 of October 2009 in the LTTC & Assisted Conception Forum where i have been posting regularly )

"well..i did another HPT and this time NEGATIVE .... I am ruling this cycle out already as i have absolutely no symptoms...in light of all this i think i actually like being a serial POAS'er...keeps some of the excitement during the boring 2WW....i know all pregnancies are different and not everyone experiences symptoms...but haven't you ever heard people who are pregnant say "oh, i JUST KNEW" or "i felt different" or "i had these symptoms" etc etc....well i've got none of that...so probably now getting my head around cycle #3!!
To everyone else who is waiting for their results this month... and lets get some names on the October Wall of Fame!! "

    And Then TODAY!!!
I AM BACK IN THE GAME !!!!!!

Did another HPT this afternoon wasn't even my FMU and guess what ???
If you hold it on a certain angle in the natural light outside and squint with your third eye...there it is! a faint faint faint BFP!!
I am excited but until i get beta numbers tomorrow, i'm trying not to get tooo over excited, ( ok that bit was a lie). Last time we ended up with a chemical so fingers crossed this one is it!!
I also mentioned in my last post that i have absolutely no symptoms...well in hindsight there was one...I was feeling a bit more tired than usual...but i had been staying up later than usual and i have had to also do DH's chores around the house as he has been helping with renovations at In Laws....so i put it down to that..but now i think maybe its a symptom!!

    Good evening ladies,

sonia - how did you go today??? Hope you have some good news.

Murraycod - lurk away It seems a little quiet in here at the moment so the more the merrier!

Jayejaye - Congrats again!! So nice to have official confirmation! And thanks for your thoughts. I'm now looking over all of them trying to decide if any of them fit...!

Emerald Star - where are you up to now? Waiting for a BT? I think I got confused reading your posts in here and the other thread (it's a bit late for me and clearly I need sleep!).

Hello to everyone else. Hope the 2WW is going quickly. I feel like it's dragging so so so slowly and i've got years left until BT next week. When is it too early to POAS?!

    night all,
    lise xx

    Godd morning ladies,

Jaye Jaye- Thanks for the outline, I had no idea you were supposed to DTD the night before the transfer!
Were you on any crinone or progesterone? I am only 3 days past transfer and my boobs are extremely sore. I presume it is the crinone.

Impish-How devastating, I understand how you feel. I have had a similar experience, my doctor said at least you know that you can get pregnant and that means you are a better candidate for pregnancy then you were before. Just hold onto that thought.

Lise- Sorry it has taken so long for me to answer your question. I asked for two, I don?t think my FS would have done it otherwise. His theory is that if you get a good result 4 embies or more they transfer one, less then four then they transfer two. I just wanted to increase my chances as much as possible.

LondonMiss-I hope they can get those appointments for you soon.

Murray Cod I like the lurking icon, I haven?t noticed that before. Good luck with your journey.

Emerald- Hope you get a good blood test result today.

Hope everyone is having a good day.
