Our body does strange things to us during the TWW. We generally find that because we are hoping so hard that our little one's stick, that we become more aware of any symptoms.
In relation to the "heaviness feeling", if you are 4 days since a day 3 transfer thsi is around the time that you embryo shoudl be a hatching blasty and trying to find a good place to snuggle into. So the heaviness might be some slight cramping from this happening. Don't quote me but I think it generally takes about 6 days for the embryo to really grab on, so you might get feelings over the next few days.
If you had a day 5 blasty, then you are aleady further along the implantation timeline, fingers crossed for you that it is your little one getting nice a comfy for a long time.
I had my transfer on Tuesday of 2 day 3's, so they should both hopefully be at hatching blasty stage for me as well. From last night I have started feeling a tugging sensation and am feeling a bit queasy in the stomach, so I am hoping it is the extra hormones that I am taking causing this and that my little ones are finding there comfy spot as well.
I know it is hard to not analyse every twinge, cramp or discomfort but if you haven't had any spotting, hold out a bit longer and hopefully you get your BFP in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks Kell,
yeah i take in every little twinge u feel, need to relax. as im off for a couple of days on the gold coast so m feet will be up relaxing, have a top weekend everyone!!
My imagination is in overdrive!!!!! My B/T isn't until Wednesday, but I feel a little off. Very hungry and eating healthily, but cannot stomach the thought of chocolate or cake this is very unusual for me!!!
I am very naughty and did a HPT today and it was strongly positive!!!!! I can't read too much into it as I have been on the HCG injections and the IVF nurses warned me NOT to do a HPT, but there are 2 in the cupboard left over form the last 3 years, so I couldn't resist.
I know it could be a false +ve, but I just enjoyed looking at the 2 lines for once!
hi Ladies, just checking in to get results from yesterday and today's BT's - hoping there's a couple more success stories to add to the list.
I did a HPT this morning which came back negative. Not sure if I'll do another before my BT on Monday, have never felt v positive about this cycle anyway.
AFM - I'm out. Nadda, zero, zilch. Passed a couple of clots las night but nothing else. Was feeling OK until about lunch time when AF turned up in a particularly nasty mood. Blood tests confirmed that it seemed that Mighty Man didn't stick at all. And now it seems that I may have some sort of infection - she smells really really bad (sorry - prob TMI). Am having some tests on Monday to see if it is anything to worry about - might need antibiotics but apparently I should let AF run its course because hopefully shedding the lining will probably get rid of any infection anyway. So, the fun continues
At the moment I feel fine about it - not sure how it will go when DH comes home - might be a bit of a mess then. Funny thing is that I knew that something wasn't right - the cramps that I had from after the transfer weren't normal and I am now guessing weren't the crinone speaking. Ah well. We live and learn.
Probably won't be around much in the next few days - so goodluck to everyone who is testing. I'm thinking of every one of you.
Neptune, sounds very promising.
I also went of chocolate, cofee or anything sweet which is also very odd for me as they are my two fav...and haven't touched them since.
Fingercrossed for your blood test on Monday.
Hi Guys,
I was surppose to be here about a week ago but have been a bit busy.
I had my FET Last saturday I have no more embies left. Not sure what is happening with my body. I have all of a sudden become very hungry also feeling a bit sickie as well can't remember feeling like this with my first baby so early. Feeling really good though I guess looking after a 1yr is keeping my mind off it a little bit. When do you think I can do a PT I have my BT on Friday but can't wait hehe.
Hi KellyD, Brook2550, Neptune, Abbie and hope I didn't forget anyone else, its good to see you's here.
Neptune- can't wait to hear about your blood test on Monday 2 more sleeps
Muppity - sorry to hear about your news. Try and rest and get your energy back
Hope everyone's TWW go smothly and fast.
Also Girls I feel silly asking this but how do you get that information at the end of your post? Age, Dates of IVF, FET all that. Sorry I tried to work it out. (spot the newie)
Got to go it's feeding time at my zoo hehe
Take care of yourselves and rest lots and lots xxx
Azzrenae: My BT is next Monday week (20/10) so mught do a POAS on Saturday to see if there is anything showing. I hate the waiting sooooo much. As for the signture at the bottom, fo into the "User Profile" link and then go down to signature. Then you can put a signature at the bottom of your messages. Although it is a BB rule that only 4 line allowed for a signature or 6 if you have a countdown ticker.
Muppity: sorry to hear the this wasn't your time, an infection doesn't sound good. It must be hard to know if your little angel had a chance or not from the beginning if the home wasn't tip top. Hopefully you can get that all cleared up soon and will be back here before you know it.
Neptune: I know what you mean by wanting to see a positive on a POAS. I've never seen one myself so can't wait to see what they look like. Hopefully it is not the leftover drugs and a beautiful strong BFP.
Milliecat: Good luck for Monday's BT. Hopefully you just have a slow started in there.
AFM: Feeling slight tugging down there, but not the same as if AF is on her way. Starting to get sore BB's, and my left has increases in size and is much more tender than the right. I think DH loves it as I keep getting him to check if he thinks they are getting bigger. So he basically gets to "cop a feel" for free . Well I have a busy week at work next week, with a 2 day conference on Thursday & Friday so at least I won't really have time to analyse everything and hopefully the time will fly by.
Have a good rest of the weekend ladies and will check in on Monday for a girls having BT's.
I thought I was getting good at this TWW game!!! I still have a few days to go till the test and i am starting to get restless. I don't really have any symptoms so I think the accupuncture may have helped with the bloatedness I have had on other cycles, I just keep analysing every little twinge - or the fact that I do not have a twinge!. I really need to take up some hobby i think... although most of the things I like doing are abit too active and on the banned list until I get my blood test..... Cannot win.
Oh well must remember patience is a virtue!!!!
Good luck to everyone biting their nails just like me at the moment.
Milly I know what you mean about being active is on the band list I joined a gym about 3 weeks ago and was really getting into it so all i do now is walking and jump on the bike at the gym not sure if its worth it though but gives me something to do. When is your BT ?
Kelly Hope your last week goes fast for you
AFM Still feeling sickie I guess the chocolate I just ate isn't helping hehe
Hope its going well for everyone
