    Hey Girls,

Congrats to all who are in the TWW. I am hoping we get some really good results.

Im on the TWW too. My bt is on 23rd, I cant wait that long. I am going to be impatient the weekend before. Im going to call today & try to change mine to the Friday the 20th. What's 3 days?

I woke at 5am this morning, cants sleep. Too excited! DH slept on the lounge last night so I could sleep like a starfish. It was the best sleep I have had in ages! Maybe he can sleep on the lounge every night.

thanx Kotare for bringing me upto date with everyones BT......

    Hi Ladies,
I recognise a couple of your names from the other forum I've been writing in "New to Sydney and about to do Frozen Embryo Transfer" just wanted to say hi.
Good luck to all of you this month, hope it's BFP's all round.
I'm having a FET transfer on the 23rd, hoping it's third time lucky.
I find it really hard not to wish my life away while I'm TTC, very frustrating.
    Take care and good luck.

    Oh Vanessa,
I am so sorry sweetie - i know how you feel - i have been there many times - whilst on the TWW you alway try to stay positive and hope that the little embies are doing there thing and then bam - and positive vibes for the next cycle. With my clinic SIVF satelite team they only visit Coffs Harbour every 3 months so i have no choice but i have heard other clinic to back to back cycles.

    Sorry Vanessa...
Just thought i'd say that my clinic you can do back to back FETs but must have a month off between stim and 1st FET. No pill (for me) - in fact no drugs at all - fully natural, but i have a regular 28/29 day cycle, and no PCOS or anything. Maybe that makes a difference - not sure??

Good luck, and I hope you are feeling OK.

I am 30 - and this is news to me !!!

Hi Princess Fi, and everyone else...

So, i thought i'd tell you something that i read last night. I am slightly embarrassed to say that i have done all this AC and I am 30 years old..and i didn't know this. I feel silly. It's my body - and i didn't even know. So, i thought if it was news to me it might be an interesting read for some others.

Many people think that the uterus looks like it does in most diagrams, with a cave-like interior in which transferred embryos can rattle around and even fall out! In reality, the endometrial cavity is a potential space. In fact, the front and back walls of the uterus are in contact like two slices of bread with jam in the middle; the embryo is like a raspberry seed wedged in between. No matter what you do, it won’t fall out!
I'll never look at a jam sandwich the same.
Why didn't i learn this a school?? Makes me feel better in the TWW though - at least when i sneeze!

    Hi All,

Vanessa - so terribly sorry to hear your news. I know the pain and its not easy but hang in there honey.

Fiona - Congrats on the TWW! Yes, I have read its the 2 week wait from hell! Keep busy to pass the time, its the only way.

Mandy - All the best for your FET on 23rd. Hope it all goes smoothly for you. How many you are you having?

Kotare - Damn winter and the lurgy! Bring on week 2! Hope it flies for you! I have 10 days & counting.

Lissie - You have less than a week, so lucky!!!

Me - Cold and tired. Have been eating myself through my TWW. I bought brandy snap cookies with cream from the cookie man & gorged myself. I have one more bag left and Im hiding it from DH until I can get back to the shop tomorrow. I just think the eating is boredom. My TWW is going to drag on & on.

All - I never knew the uterus was like a "jam" sandwich either eewwww. There goes my luv of devonshire tea hehehehehe!

    Take Care

PS. I am undecided what to do with my BT that are booked for the 23rd. I wanted to change the appointment to 20th to save myself 3 days of anxiety but I am a godmother on the 22nd again. My dilemma is, if I change my appointment to the 20th and I find out its a BFN I am going to be messed up at the Christening. If, its a BFP, then I'll be ok.

What do you guys think? Should I change my appointment or not? Was it made for this day for a reason? I dont know. I have no clear head today.

    What would you guys do?

    Hi TL,
I would ask your nurses if they think they can get a good result if you had your BT early. If they say that they think it needs the extra 3 days to let your levels build up - well, then your decision is made for you! If they say an early BT is fine, then you can decide then. One thing is, if you do a BT on Friday, and they ring you and tell you that you have some HCG but low levels (i.e. they need to test again) then you might feel Blurgh at the christening anyway.

Can't help sorry, but you might find they won't do it early, and therefore it's a moot point.

Hi Lissie, I hope you can keep AF away for a lot longer than the next 4 days !

We have decided to go away for a couple of nights next week - good news or bad. We need to spend a bit of time together.
