hi all -- i've been watching quietly and not really posting much. the tww doesn't seem that exciting to me this time around. testing isn't too far off, and i'm thinking the iui hasn't taken this time around, but i guess only time will tell!

congrats to those with BFP's and my heartfelt sorrow for those with BFN's - may you never have to feel that hurt again!

Good luck to those who have joined recently - as i've said, i'm watching but not really posting too much.

Sonya, good luck with your transfer tomorrow.

BG, I've got my fingers crossed for you. Please don't give up hope - so many ladies have received BFPs when they least expect it.

    Hi guys
My TWW has turned into a 3 week wait. Had BT last friday and LH was only 28, then another BT on monday and it was only 47, so ive been given the wait and see thing. I have another BT tomorrow. It is so hard not to look into things and this is all so frustrating. the hardest part is all the family who knew i had IUI keep asking and i want to scream at them. Hopefully tomorrow i'll get an answer either way, i hate the not knowing. Anyways. Good luck everyone and lots of sticky vibes

Hi Kazz, welcome and wishing you a BFP for this cycle.

Scooby, good luck for your BT tomorrow.

Me - still getting cramps on and off and I wish Saturday would just hurry up so I can have the BT and know either way.

Hi Scooby....i had a blood test right on 4weeks and it was 49 so i wouldn't stress at all. Anything between 16 and 160 is classed as normal at 4wks. I had another today at 5wks 2days and it was 843. Take it easy.
Kazza...goodluck,i dont know how you have waited this long

Scooby - hope you get a nice confirmation of things happening tomorrow.

Leesa - I know we're only 3dpo after iui but I want to feel a sign already ! It's hard not to think negative about this cycle when I've had no luck for ages.! Just gimme big boobs oh Lord, something to tell me it's not in my head !!!!!

SIGH I guess I should pace myself. I have a full week before "the crazies" really start !!

BFP vibes to all. Good luck to all the girls with BTs this week!

BG: I know just what you mean, this TWW isn't so exciting, I guess I don't want to be too disappointed again, I was so excited last time after those false +'s. I'm not testing this time, and am just going to ride it out. if it hapens, it'll happen whether or not I test. I'm just living as normal. Study, and getting addicted to the arcade games lol!!!

deni: I wish there was some way to tell straight away! I'm trying not to get too obsessive this time around, trying the "relaxed" thing, hoping the more relaxed I am, the more chance this one will stick!!! But yes, BBs are the first thing I start inspecting!!!! ANything... last time the moment I saw a stretch mark and blue veins I was CONVINCED I was preggas! 4DPO today... waiting to hit the 7DPO mark, and hopefully some symptoms then!!!

scooby: Yep, I want to carry around a big stick and bop everyone who asks "so, do you think you're pregnant this time". Heck! It's only been 4 days!!!! It happened last time, with Shel's sister texting me everyday counting down til we did the HPT!!!! I was ready to kill her!!!

Good luck to everyone who is testing or having BTs soon! I hope i see LOTS of BFPs around here!!!

Thanks scooby, I'm making this quilt for my best friend who's TTC (same length of time as me), it's my "positive meditation" for her which she doesn't know about yet; but now i've done the beginners course I've got 4 projects on the go ! (all baby quilts) - one for another friend who is TTC, one who is pregnant, and one (positive thinking) for me (I haven't started that one yet though, don't want to jinx myself!!) - good luck with your BT today. I definately recommend TWW projects for everyone who is TTC - if you're not craft-inclined can be anything else!

Leesha - are you also getting the 1000 iui hcg booster shots every few days? It's so annoying not having even a guarantee that sperm met egg and still need to do all the needle stuff. I'm definately not testing early for this first IUI round, I'm too afraid of false positives ! I'm for you.

    have a great day everyone

deni: I only had the trigger on Saturday, and same with last time as well... do you maen aout the BFP's? It was really weird, I got a negative 12DPO, and then a positive on 14, and again on 16DPO, and then AF came that day. I put it down to dodgy tests... but that said, I'm still not testing this time! When do you have your BT? Mines on 16 or 17 DPO.

Leasha - i wouldn't necessarily blame the HPT's hun - i had a pregnancy last time that only held for a couple of days - and i have now kicked out all the niggly doubts that the test was wrong - i've had three iui's - 2 BFN's (AF exactly 14 days) and the one with the pg and early loss. there is a very real chance you may have had a chemical pg in there hun...

well, as i said - day 14 and i'm out. at least i have confirmed for myself that i have a 14 day LP, and that i wasn't imagining BFP last time around (it's a small positive, but i have to see something positive when everything is falling in a heap)

won't be around much for a while - can't get back to see FS til early November so we're back to waiting

So sorry to hear that BG.. :hugs: I really hope you have sticky success next (and hopefully last) time around.

Leesha - my final BT is 16 dpo on Wed 26th. I have to do the test at an adelaide clinic because I'll be on holidays - I guess they'll ring perth with the result who'll then ring me. I'll be busting out of my skin by then! (if af hasn't already arrived, my luteal is usually 13 days - but I heard AF can come late if you've had hcg injections during the luteal phase so I'd better not get too excited).

Just an update and then i will hopefully disappear from this thread for good (not that i dont love you all lots) My HCG was 204 today and i'm technically 5 weeks (3 weeks since IUI) so i think thats good, the clinic seems happy although i have to keep going Tuesday is next BT. I really wish you all the best and thanks everyone. I think its a great idea Deni to keep your mind off it, because it does drive you nuts. Roll on 12 weeks and hopefully i'll relax a little ( i need a 12week project). Anyway hope your making your quilt soon Deni.
    Best wishes everyone

    Hi everyone

Am in my TTW. FET this past Monday. So only 3 days since transfer and I have some light pink discharge and pain which is similar to AF pain. Feel like I am getting period although it does seem too early. Progesterone 200mg twice daily so it should be holding lining. (trsfrd Day 6 blast).

Anyway blood test next Thursday. I would be ok and not think about it at all but the pain and the pinky discharge is a little disconcerting.

    Best of luck to everyone!

    Tucs
