I am considering trying TCM, not sure if I can use TCM in conjunction with what the naturopath has given me? So I'm just looking for possibly some alternatives here ...
Just wodnering if any of you had been to a naturopath then tried TCM? Or if you have tried TCM and how you found it? Did it work for you? How were your symptoms (if any)?
Also wanting to hear about Accupuncture - did you use TCM or natural supplements with accupuncture? How did you find it? Again, how did you find the therapy? Symptoms?
I am starting to gag with all the tablets I have to take, and am really forcing myself to swallow them.
We would like to do what we can now, as we have given ourselves til September to conceive or we will start the IVF process ...
Also would like to know how long the meds took to kick in/how long it took to conceive

That was Gecko wasnt it? I seen that, and it got me thinking, just not sure if i can take the supp's the naturopath gave me along with TCM & accupuncture .... I've decided to go and speak with a accupuncurist on Tuesday and discuss it with them, if I can't, then I can't but accupuncture should still be fine
I used TCM and acupuncture to conceive my DD. After not having a period for more than 10 months, and whilst waiting for drs etc, I decided to do something naturally about it. Within 2 months, I ovulated and got my period, and then on the next cycle I got pregnant. I am now a firm believer, and still have treatments and take my herbs to this day. I think my TCM Dr was also a naturopath, so I think you just need to talk to them to find out what they do etc. You might find you can ditch the naturopath and just do the tcm and acupuncture.
Thanks Manhattan, DP and I have discussed possibly going for cupping as well. We have been labeled as 'unexplained infertility' which is driving me insane! We will take a trip down to the accupuncturist and discuss our options with them. Your results are awesome! its awesome to hear positive results
I have been wondering the exact same thing. I am TTC and I started to see an accupunturist last year but I moved and didnt continue my treatment. They also had me taking TCM, after several treatments I started to see my energy levels rise and a change in my period (less pain!... I have endo). I am booked to start TCM + accupunture again next weekend, but I am also wondering about a Naturopath and if I should be looking at that instead... because I know 2 people who have fallen preggo whist seeing a naturopath. From what I understand, they did a huge detox of toxins from their body and changed their diet in a big way, so perhaps TCM + naturopathy could work together?
