Yes, you definitely qualify to see a specialist. Usually after 12 months of TTC for those under 35, and 6 months for those over 35 years.
As for whether to continue naturally or not before seeking help that is really up to you and how you are handling things at the moment. I personally felt less stressed when I was doing everything I possibly could.
Have you had basic investigations? CD21 bloods for progesterone (to see if you ovulate) and DH's semen analysis? These can help tremendously.
Best of luck with your decision and treatment. TTC is stressful and at times heartbreaking and you will find much support here. Sorry to hear about AF .
i agree with the others, it wouldn't hurt to go and talk to a fertility specialist, then they can advise you on what would be your best course of action
Thanks for the replies, very much appreciated. Just one more question, will the fact that I conceived and miscarried mean I will have to wait until we've been trying for another year before the GP will refer us to a specialist? Thanks
