I've just been to the clinic to collect the drugs for my first antagonist cycle. I am still on the pill and have 1.5 weeks to go before we wait for AF.
The drugs and protocol I get, what I am lost with is why my clinic nurse has said I should be taking a dose of orgalutran today as a one off (an expensive one off to say the least).
And I would have asked her except she is the least helpful nurse I have at the clinic and DH and I both asked her another question 3 times and still didn't get an answer.
So in theory I should be taking the injection tonight, but I have no idea why????
Should I call the clinic out of hours mobile just in case she's not on and someone else can explain why??? What if the unhelpful one answers??
i would call
a shot that exxy that isnt necessary is ridiculous!
if she answers, just tell her you were trying to recall why you needed a shot on down reg and could she please elaborate for you
