Puregon side effects....

I was just wondering - I have been taking puregon now since Saturday just gone (so 5 doses so far) and have the most incredibly sore breasts - I was just wondering if this was a "side effect" and normal or if there is something that I should be letting the clinic know? I don't usually get them in my cycle until I have ovulated but I have been having my syneral relgiously so no chance of that happening.

Any input would be appreciated.

it sounds pretty normal - your body is being stimulated to a much higher degree than it would be for normal ovulation. plus it's being forced to wake up from a drug induced menopause (the synarel) so it's going a little nuts from it all

mention it to your clinic, but it's not something to be overly concerned about. my breast always hurt while stimmin - and when going through full stim for ivf as opposed to the lower stim for IUI, it was a very different degree of pain
