Sex after embryo TF

When did you first have sex after your embryo TF?
How many days did you wait?
Did you have any cramping afterwards?
Do you believe it helps implantation or should it be avoided?

DH and i had sex for the first time today after my embryo TF on monday so it has been 4 days the sex was great and not painful at all but after i had the big O i have had cramping like pretty strong period pain now i am worried i shouldnt have but i feel like if the embie was going to stick then sex will not upset the whole process of implanting well i hope not.

Personally, I think if you're up for it then it's probably only going to help - extra blood flow and loving hormones and all that.
I didn't, but only because first time I had OHSS and second time I was all horrid and sticky from the pessaries.

LOL yeh! the pessaries are delightful aren't they i made sure i had a shower and got rid of all the left overs first.

Ferrals the only times I fell pg with IVF was the two times we DTD after ET. Both times we tried for 6 days past EPU when implantation would be happening.

Both times I had cramping too which I put down to implantation.

ooh! interesting Dusty it was 4 days after ET for us but embie would have been 7 days old so around the right time for implantation going by what they say for a day 3 embryo implantation it is usually 3-4 days after TF only time will tell thanks.

We were told by our FS to go home and have sex immediately after embryo transfer.
My baby daughter is snoozing in the room next door - the result of that IVF cycle.

No idea why it works but apparently it does! (well, it did for us anyway) But I know of other people who have been told to avoid sex until they see the heartbeat on the baby.
