Hi,
I have PCOS and my husband has sperm issues. We tried clomid to start and it didn't get me to ovulate ( but it does help a lot of people). We then tried OI which is ovulation induction using injectable hormones and timed intercourse. Great thing was I ovulated every time, but we did not fall pregnant. We tried about 6 times with this and then 'graduated' to IVF/ICSI. We did one stimulated cycle with a fresh transfer which was a BFN but we got lots of embies to freeze. Next came a HRT FET and what do you know - BFP! I now have a 21 month old DD as a result.
I guess my advise is that sometimes it takes trying a few different things before finding the one that works for you. We did not try menevit so I have no advice on that. My PCOS does not present with weight gain so losing weight would not have helped in my situation. However, since having my DD for the first time ever I have a regular 30 day cycle!
I wish you luck in your journey and hope that it is a short and sweet one. There are lots of us unfortunately in a similar position.
Janie xxx
