sorry been absent for a while but this time of year is hectic... although I should take the five minutes for this each day as it helps.

    Keta: Sorry AF arrived.

Zig: 3 things for the year is a great idea we will see how I go with that but firstly today.

1- Had coffee with a work friend before work this morning which was nice to have a chat to begin winding down for the year.
2- Had family xmas on the weekend with DH's family and it turned out a good day.
3- Got some good friends around me who are supportive and understanding.

    Now for 2011.....

1- DH got accepted in to his course / training even if we have had a hiccup with this since and it means it will take a bit longer than expected it also means that he will soon enough be in a career he likes and will be happy in.
2- I got to meet IRL some wonderful friends that I have made on BB.
3- I have learnt some valuble things that will stay with me and often found strength and courage when I thought there was none left several times this year.

I know 2012 will bring amazing things....

That's okay rocking bear. You're welcome to join just with the understanding that it's a sensitive place we're in here

Well done to zig and keta I'm impressed with the fantastic effort. I'm on my phone so will do this properly later in the week. Just wanted to say I was proud of the effort and like the idea of picking big things for the whole year to remember to be thankful about.

I will think on this and return soon xx

    2. it is the end of term and I am now able to relax and enjoy a month off
    3. I got the extra job done that my boss wanted, even if it didn't feel good and I didn't want to do it.

tomorrow - I will enjoy the day and be grateful for family and friends.

p.s.... go have a look at https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...belong-175005/ and you'll see why this was so important for me today!!!

Myturn sorry you are having a sucky time. I think sometimes this time of year makes it all even harder. I know I have so much to be grateful for (which is why I'm going to do this activity!) but sometimes I wonder when I will get good news. I missed out on a position in a postgraduate course (for an invalid reason which I can fight but haven't decided if that would then make things very awkward) so being positive is
Important today. Tired of negative negative negative - were us my Christmas cheer?

    1. I finished all Xmas shopping (that should help the spirit)
    2. Dh is home fOr three weeks
    3. Dinner with my family tonight

Tomorrow I will head done to Dh's family and enjoy some champaign

thanks Keta, I shouldn't complain really, life is not all that bad, I'm just in a sucky mood and it DID help to go actually do this activity - just so easy to stay in a negative frame of mind.

Sorry about not getting into your course... what were you planning to study??
I hope you find some christmas spirit - i am going to force myself to go "light spotting" tonight and try and find some spirit while I am at it - even if DH is not interested in going with us. He can go blow himself...

I was hoping to complete my masters in clinical psych. I am already a registered Psych and working In the field but looks like I will only be offered an organisational psych place. Oh well things really arent that bad. I can do postgrad later and maybe right now might be too much anyway.

Actually I should add a forth point - my dad is home from hospital and doing so well. Go dad.

Thanks myturn I hope tonights light spitting cheers you up. See the kids faces as they walk around always makes me
    Smile.

(sorrry if this is all jumbled I'm on my phone)

so this week has been pretty good
perhaps as DH and I have both been off work and that's nice to just hang out and do stuff together.... so here goes...

    1. DH has finally decided to just renovate the kitchen we have, rather than pull out the wall and do a whole heap of stuff that I've always thought was a waste in a house we plan to sell.... so I am secretly excited (but trying not to show it, cause I don't want him to change his mind!!!) lol
    2. DH bought me a heart rate monitor for X'mas and I have enjoyed using it whle bike riding and going to the gym this week it's nice to play with a new toy - and I bought a couple of accessories online which arrived today and they are great!!
    3. I put away the christmas decorations today and feel like the house is ours again

tomorrow.... I will organise the storage unit and continue to work on DH to make it all start happening

Myturn sorry your not feeling so great. Sounds like you are trying to keep busy and that is important. Maybe try to do something nice just for you too.

    1. I start puregon next week and am feeling positive about getting things back in track. I have hated the way being on the pill has made me feel.
    2. Today has been very relaxing
    3. My dad continues to improve in his health and things are certainly looking up.

Tomorrow - I will enjoy some more time relaxing before a very busy next three weeks at work. My plan is keep myself busy and maybe it will be easier to get through this cycle. One can only dream

    today

    1. I went for two walks - down to the shops - rather than driving the 900 metres lol
    2. cooked a nice meal for dinner AND did the dishes (it's rare... very rare! I HATE dishes!! lmao)
    3. last day on the pill ;-) thankfully, I think it messed with me more than I realised at the time.

tomorrow... start the day off with PT. I might go for a bike ride, trying to get in as much as possible in the next two weeks before I go back to work....
