My husband and I have been TTC since May 2009. We got a BFP in September last year after 15 mths of trying but sadly it ended up being a blighted ovum which we only found out on our 12 week scan.

We're living in NZ at the moment but move to Perth in two weeks and I really just want some advice.....do you think we should visit a specialist when we arrive?? I'm not sure if we've been trying long enough to be considered for treatment, or even where to start looking. I have no idea whether I just need a GP or whether I should look for an gynaecologist/obstetrician....we have full medical insurance that covers all conception/pregnancy and birth issues, including assisted fertility which kicks in immediately - no stand down/waiting period - but I don't know if I should wait for a while....we started trying immediately after the miscarriage and have had 3 more failed cycles....I don't know if I can handle another year of failure just to end in a miscarriage again.....

When I hear some of the stories on here I feel like I should be grateful it's only been as long as it has, and that it's only been a year, but I really feel like I need to do something instead of leaving things to chance. I already pinpoint ovulation using an OPK....

Anyway, sorry for the vent...AF arrived today, meaning another failed month, and I just needed to talk....

Thanks
