JUst a flying visit to wish Willow well today. I hope you slept well and those bowels didn't keep you up.
I will be thinking of you and I look forward to hearing from you when you are up to it.
Willow - my message is probably a bit late but I know you know I will be there with you. So sorry about the relatives. Sometimes they can be a pain and for the most part we are so glad that all of ours are in the UK and not here. My MIL comes from the planet next to Debs (her MIL)!
Michelle - so relieved that ALF is fine. Now you need to rest and calm down (so easy to say!).
Deb - just a quickie from another thread. You mentioned "fluoro pee" with regards to B vitamins. When ever I am pregnant I occaisionally get bright yellow pee. I guess "fuoro" would be a good way to describe it. It doesn't happen often. Maybe once or twice a month and I don't tend to get it any other time. It never seemed to coincide with not drinking much, or first morning pee. Ob always said it was nothing as I had no other symptoms to go with it. I just wondered if it was my body dumping the unused vits as you mentioned.
Everyone else. Hello to you all and hope today brings you health and happiness.
Hugs,
Debbie
Well, I have NFI about my cycle. I had quite decent spotting (brown with red blood) for 2 days and then yesterday and today...Nothing! It's like it's scared away. Yesterday I was pretty sick though. I had a bad headache since Saturday afternoon and then Sunday felt crap with headache turning into migraine. Yesterday I couldn't stand it any longer and I had been throwing up since Sunday afternoon. So I had 2 trips to the dr, and eventually was put into hospital on a drip for 6 hours. Got to come home last night though, which I aksed to be relased. No fun in hospital when you have a little one at home that you know needs you. But man I was drugged up...morphine, pethadine, maxolon, phenergen etc.. and that was ontop of the panadeine forte and the tramal that I'd had at home.
Sitll got the headache today, but it is just a headache.
I've had some massive temp increases and now FF is saying that my cycle is triphasic. I'm not even sure what that is and whether it is good or not. All I know is that the HPTs that I've done ove rthe past couple of days have been -ve.
I am quite new here, joined BB a year ago, had a few posts but haven't been able to pop in regularly due to work and travelling. Just want to say hi and join this tread as I become a clomid girl as of today.
We have been TTC for 3 years now. No appearant reasons been found so far for failing to conceive apart from my mild endo. Only recently, my chinese herbalist tested my prog level on Day 21 and she thought it was a bit low (26), so I was referred to a FS which we visited today, he gave us 3 options, clomid, IUI and IVF. So I took the easiest one, hoping after 5 days poping pills I will be pregnant soon.
FS would like to monitor my 1st cycle on clomid, he mentioned day 2-3 b/t and I was also prescribed an injection to trigger the egg-release mid cycle. Have anyone done similar things on their cycles' with clomid? What other things/test involved or anything that I should be mindful? Thanks in advance for the tips girls.
Sorry I haven't been able to catch up with the old thread and don't know many people here.
But reading your post Hayseed, what is NFI, sounds awful, I hope you are feeling a lot better now and headache is gone.
Monnie, hope your weekend catching up with your 'fertile window' working out fine...
Bei Bei
TTC #1 since November 2003
About to start 1st cycle on Clomid
BeiBei, welcome to the wonderful world of clomid. Mind if I ask where abouts in Sydney you are located and who your FS is? There's a long saga of why I'm refusing to see my gynecologist again but it centres around the lack of monitoring while on clomid, so any hint of a specialist who monitors closely and I'm certainly interested!
NFI means no f***ing idea. You get used to the lingo and abbreviations pretty quickly.
Hayseed, triphasic just means that there are three different levels of temperatures (pre-O, post-O and later on in cycle) and it's a possible indication that you may be pregnant. Sorry to hear about the headaches, sounds dreadful!
As for me... succeeded in my plans of having a good day right up until the afternoon when I had a little melt down and lost it at work... fortunately I was done teaching for the day. Amazing how quickly I've gone from feeling over-medicated to barely holding it together.
Willow, I do hope you are ok and that we will hear from you soon.
My "fertile window" seems to be going on and on this month...it's been mentioned that clomid can make your cycle a little longer...certainly seems to be happening to me...
Shouldn't complain though...gives us more opportunities!!!
Don't mind you asking at all, the FS I am seeing is at Chatswood IVF Aust. his name is Rober Lahoud. Its the first time I saw him, so its a bit hard to tell his style. Apart from that I felt at the end I was bit rushed he seems quite nice. And yes he offered to test my 1st cycle on clomid without me asking. Its so hard to find a good GP, Gyn or FS isn't it? I am stilling trying to find a caring GP in my local area...so Good luck!
Monnie, so looking forward to some good news from you this month...
Hey Deb, hope AF stays away!!
hi 2 everyone else, loads going on, and a monkey 2yr old who wont let me type.
So really just saying hi, and Willow, I hope all is well with you as it can be.
yah Michelle, fantastic news. grow little alf.
take care all
BeiBei- Welcome. I hope you have a short journey with clomid. When I was on clomid my FS monitored me heaps too which was great. At least you know what is going on. I also get the trigger shot to help release the little eggie so that must be pretty normal.
Hayseed- Sorry to hear that your cycle is all over the place. Good luck hope AF stays away.
Well for me I had my scan this morning and my first lot of daily injections has worked so I am feeling on top of the world at the moment. I had two good follies on my left hand side so I had my trigger shot and then tomorrow morning we are going back in for the insemination. Keeping everything crossed that this works first go and we get our BFP Girls pray for me.
Smude- Any news from your scan yet. I am keeping everything crossed for good news for both of us today.
Hi to everyone else that I have missed. I hope you are all well.
KT girl consider yourself Prayed for! I am hoping so much for you this month...
Hayseed - well you might just have hit the nail on the head this month! A triphasic chart *can* indicate pregnancy. So let's hope that is so for you. Glad the headache has settled some...
Willow - are you home yet? I have been thinking of you a lot.
Butterfly - I hope you feel better soon.
Monnie - vibes all coming at you!
Everyone else - I have to go but will be back later!
Well, I feel like I am going to get my period any day. I got a positive opk last MOnday so I am about 8dpo at the moment... It looks like a short luteal phase which is normal after birth.
I feel cranky GRRRRRR!!!!
I am out to dinner with some girlfriends tonight so I need to pull myself together!
Looks like I'm back in here again. Not sure when I'll start clomid again or for how long. I go back to the ob/gyn in 4 weeks. But I thought I might ring up tomorrow and just ask them what to expect.
ktgirl - that is fantastic! You go girl! I didn't realise you were on the injections. Your spirits always seem so high. lol. I will make a wish especially for you tonight. I hope this is it. Good Luck - fill us in when you can. I'm so pleased one of us held up the fort!
No such luck with us today - not a mature follicle to be seen..but my awol ovary was no longer in hiding. We don't have a chance to feel sorry for ourselves, no sooner had FS specialist finished filling me in and she instructs me to double the dose and start today. Scan next Thursday. Here we go again! Let's hope we achieve a better outcome next week. Feel a bit battered after two internals a day apart.
Hayseed - sounds like you have had an awful time of it. Hope you are feeling back to normal soon
Hi there Bei Bei - good luck for your first round. Keep us filled in won't you. May I ask what dose you are starting on?
Hope everyone else is going ok

Hey smudge. Glad you found the awol ovary but don't worry too much about not having any follies because on my first cycle of clomid we did 50 mg had no follies so straight away doubled the dose and have three mature follies so there is plenty of hope yet. I am still praying for you.
Willow- I hope you are feeling ok sending you lots of healing vibes.
Missbelinda- I am so sorry to hear of your loss :hugs: Just remember you have lots of support around these forums.
Mako- Good luck I am that it is fantastic news for you this week
Deb- I hope you enjoy your night out with the girls and that if it is AF knocking on your door that she treats you kindly.
I keep thinking that the sooner I go to sleep the sooner tomorrow morning comes around and we have our insemination.
(LOL sounds like when we were kids and we used to go to bed early on Christmas eve so Christmas came earlier )
