    TWW Questions?

    Hi All,

I have only been in this position once before and I really wasn't as aware of my body as I am now. I am now 2 days post 2 x ET and I have had small little crampy pains on my right side, the IVF nurses told me to stay on Panadol for 3 days afterwards to help to relax my uterus. I have read some of the threads regarding implatation bleed etc does this happen to all women? and when do you expect it?

    Hoping you can help.

True, I am trying to busy myself, but it is always there in the back of my mind. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement
I am trying to do everything right, eating healthy organic food, taking my elevit and long list of medications, drinking 2-3 litres of water a day, no caffine and trying to keep as cool as I can - I know that everything I do has got to help the out come.
    Thanks Tiggerlinda

    Hi Bindy

I didnt get any bleeding with my TWW so id say no it doesnt happen with every implantation. I think it might be abit early but you just never know. The only real pain so to speak I got was at the end of my TWW. AF like sypmtoms but it wasnt that. I was pg. I wish you lots of luck hun. stay pos+++ and I find that sitting rather then laying down for relaxing is good. I found that every time I lay I ended up with BFN but when sitting I got my 3 BFP. Good luck

    Oh and dont have baths!!!!

Bindy, not all women get implantation bleeding. Even those that have had implantation bleeding at some stage will not get it every time. I've had four pregnancies resulting from embryo transfers, and only one of those has resulted in any implantation bleeding.

    Hi Bindy,
I cant really help you re implantation bleeding as we have not go that far, but I understand that it not that common, but can and does happen.

With my ET and FETs, I've got cramping a few days after the transfer (like a pulling or tugging - often around my belly button), and then normal AF cramps around AF time. I've rung the nurses re the early cramps who have said that they are prob too early for implantation, but could be just a side effect of the transfer.

Sounds like you are doing everything you can right, so try and relax and good luck. Wishing you a BFP at the end of the (long and stressful) TWW .

    Good luck

    hi Bindy,
those pulling sensations could also be the progestrone -are you using the cream? I have had constant pullings, tugging like feeling since my transfer 5 days ago. I also have sore breasts but I really do put this all down to the progrestrone cream I am using, as it tried to fool me before!
I did NOT have any implantation bleed when I concieved my son, but I know some do, and even a friend of mine had regular periods for 4 months until she found out she was pregnant !!

The very, very best of luck to you.
