The budget and how it affects us
DH and I are trying to work out exactly how the new budget affects FTB A & B and child care rebate. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I think it lifts the amount of money your can earn with FTB A to 40K before you get a reduced amount?
Not sure, we don;t qualify, but does that make sense?

that is only for tax cuts that The_Hawk did I think
I read on the Family Tax website that it the amount you can earn before Family Tax A reduces, has increased from just over $33,000 to $37,500

I read that they are changing the larger family payment so now it's for families with 3 kids or more instead of 4 kids or more. It's only an extra $280 a year or something like that, but it's better than nothing!

Hi - we got a pamphlet in the mail yesterday about this and adjusting your income estimate.
If you are entitled to the full FTB A - does that mean you get a health care card as well ?

Can someone tell me cos Im confused as have now heard conflicting information. When we are doing our Income Estimates for the financial year do we include the money from FTB as income? Or as I am a SAHM do I just put in my DH income and mine as $0?

If you are not receiving an income Jo your total is $0. You do not need to include and $ from FTA or FTB as these are paid based on your estimate.
