thanks Mel....
it makes me even more sad..knowing that i have to leave him with the horrid woman... god i am getting teary sitting here thinking about it...
Would it be better to pay someone you feel happier with???
I know how hard it is to go back to work with a little one, we cannot survive without my income so I had to go back but its still heartbreaking not to mention exhausting.
Sory your DH won't let you stay home. Are you going back P/T??
I only work 5 hrs a day/25hrs a week...i wish i could work from home and get the same income that i get when i go to work...i am actually giving up my weekend hours just so i can spend time with hubby & DS...
i know it has to be done...
as for paying someone...i sure would but if i did that...there goes my wage..
My DS goes to FDC, its only about $7 an hour and I get 1/2 that back every 3 months. I think the money spent is worth it not to have to leave him with your mother.
Can you do more hours in less days??
Why do you "have" to leave bub there? Day care centres are not as expensive as you might think, particularly when you get the 50% rebate from the government. There is no way known I would leave my son with someone I didn't like. You are never going to feel comfortable leaving him there and will worry about him all the time no doubt. Much better to put him in a place where you feel comfortable with the carers & where he will be well looked after & entertained, rather than with someone who may feel obligated to care for him.
