help me justify leaving early lol

i have my own business so i can finish when ever i want. i would liek to finish up in aug but i am not due till 20th oct and i feel like a bum if i finish at hte start of aug.
if i finish at the start of aug i miss a really stressful evaluation thing that happens and it is easier for me to work out my income and all that for tax and cl. but liek i said i feel that leaving at 30 weeks is way too early.
when i was preg with DD i worked up till 34 weeks but i had her at 38 weeks.
i do family daycare so atleast when i finish work when preg with dd i was finished wit kids for the day. but this time i will have dd and think that it may be a bit harder so it would be better takin abit extra time off.

Sounds to me you alrady know what you want to do, you just need to work through your inner monologue (or justify yourself to someone else).

Here's a good decision making tool:
On a piece of paper, draw a line down the middle to make 2 columns. On either side, write down the Pros & Cons in a list. Each should have a weighting (of say 1-5). Add up all the results in each column. The highest points wins. You'll end up with the result you want, but when you start doubting yourself, this can back it up.

e.g. On Pros you may have: better to rest for baby and toddler and give that a rating. On a con, you may have loss of income or "may get bored" or "stress from evaluation"

I left work at 24 weeks with DD1 due to morning sickness. I loved every bit of it (not the morning sickness bit!). I had so much time to get things prepared, valuable time to myself etc. If you were to finish early, you could spend that special time bonding with DD before bub arrives. I say go for it!

i know it does sound liek i have my mind made up doesnt it lol.

the only cons r less money and being bored.
so the less money wont really matter that much and being bored i guess once i get bigger it will take longer to do things so i might not be as bored lol.

its just annoying cause i knwo there will be a few people that will liek i am just being lazy.

I finished at 33 weeks (to much eye rolling of workmates) hoping for a break and planning time and had my baby at 34 weeks. Best laid plans and all that. Do whatever you want, don't worry about anyone else.
