Maternity Leave Email

Final day of Work!!!

I need to email all my contacts to inform them that i will be on maternity leave (possibly indefinitely)
I need an email for all our suppliers and trades and also another email for my clients.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what to write? I just cant seem to get it right. Also how do i start the email off because it is a broad one to the suppliers/trades etc....

Make it generic.

"I will commencing leave from COB today *insert date* and will return on the *insert date*. For all inquiries during that time, please contact XXX on *insert title, email, phone number.

Thank them for their custom, let them know you're going on leave and who to contact.

I agree, just make it generic. No one needs to know why you're going on leave, just who to contact moving forward!

if you don't have a return date you could just say "going on extended leave, commencing 4 May 2012" (YAY) with the rest of sushee's template.
