Public sector nurses in Vic - please advise.

Is there any Victorian nurses out there working in the public sector? I am having trouble accessing a current award. How many weeks paid maternity leave are we entitled to? I have a feeling it got increased to 9 weeks last year but my employer tells me it's 8 weeks paid leave.

Yes, 10 weeks in Victoria as of last October. In US they get much longer apparently. I wish the awards were standardised throughout Australia and that we could all have the longer leave.
