I was on my feet all day during my pregnancies, I left work 4 weeks before my due date each time (an my planned due date for 2nd bub). But i would have left earlier if it was becomming too much. 10.5 hour shifts with lots of heavy lifting sounds pretty full on to me. Even if u can start reducing the hours you work or they can find u a less strenuous roll as your pregnancy progresses?

    Hi Ladies

I hopefully plan on working till 36 - 37 weeks. I work in an office in air con all day so I don't see a problem with working later if I feel ok to do so. My work also like you to finish up at 6 weeks to go and require a medical certificte if you want to work longer.

At 23 weeks I cut back to very part time, <8 hours per week, and then left permanently at 27 weeks.

Financially, it's just started to get a bit tight, but it's really important to us.

I get really annoyed when people ask "what do you do with your time then?" - I am spending this time just being pregnant. I sew, I knit, I nest. I do the time-consuming things that save us cash and allow us to have me home for this time, and for two years after this baby is born.
