Had just spent the whole long weekend + Friday with gastro child. She was much better today, thank goodness! But exhausted now for work tomorrow.

Good luck with contract negotiations wysiwyg.

What a pain Veus hope she is fully recovered and work is not too taxing today.

I fear gastro but so far kids seem to have my cast iron constitution and not had it yet DD has never thrown up in her life.

DD is complaining her foot/toe hurts randomly - this morning she woke up and said couldn't walk on it - she has mentioned it hurting a couple of times recently but never seem to last long. Mum says she is walking funny (I am at work) but says doesn't hurt now. There is nothing obvious and toe nails look ok - not sure what to do really?

Off to Sydney Sun till Wed night - wonder if will mean end of BF for DS - I hope not but will miss 7 feeds so might well do.

Now hotel has a Spa, can I bring myself to be in a bathing suit in front of my colleague (male) is the question?

I reckon I'll miss BF when the time comes. Haven't got there yet.

Re: spa, better than naked in front of male colleague.

Separate note: might have a new job lined up. *fingers crossed* referees checking.

    Good Luck Veus!

WYSIWYG - how was the trip and the spa?

Can't believe I've been back at work 4 weeks already, it really has flown. I've had a few nice compliments this week about my positive impact since I've been back, a nice ego boost and motivation to keep working my butt off. Naturally I am missing my kiddies but I really am enjoying my job again. And got a $4500 payrise today!!

Haven't been yet I go tomorrow.

Awesome result with your pay rise MN.

No reason I shouldn't feel comfortable going in the spa - I have a much better figure than him! Not sure why it even occurred to me to be concerned - I used to do a lot of travel sometimes to nice warm places and have done all sorts of things in swimwear with male colleagues before (jetski's, waterparks, ****tails, surfing etc etc).

Veus - fingers crossed for your new job.

Just had the Spa was great but I wish I had checked my swimsuit first it had half disintegrated!! Thankfully was outside and dark, but it won't last another dip.

Otherwise work trip going well - hope everyone else doing well.

Got home late Wed night, DS still feeding so happy with that and I didn't feel too full or anything. DS has chosen grandma over me a few times though :-( but DD and DH are getting on even better than before which is a plus.

Work I am no longer sure will renew contract or if I want to (work reasons) so that is making me question the whole working scenario again - consider but not come up with any bright ideas - renewing my acquaintence with SEEK

More good news - less away trips to Sydney!! Prob just one more two day trip (although I had planned to catch up with a lovely BB friend while there). Which is good on the family front but bad on the work front - they are sooooo frustrating - I just want to do a good job and not play politics. Tonight is a fun filled evening of mathematical modelling (I do love a good spreadsheet) - trying to work out how long I can afford to look for work for while keeping the kids in childcare - at least will all be in a new tax year.
