I bought a tub of creamed cottage cheese. Not quite sure why... Anyway, short of only having it on toast, what can I do with it?

I read through mr google about using it in lasagne "in place of ricotta cheese", except that I don't use ricotta in lasagne, so not sure on how to include it. I was thinking of cheese and spinach pastries, anyone got any good recipes? Also, can I freeze them? Before baking?

Ideas most appreciated! Would love to maybe being able to use this more often than just "trying to use up this one tub".
