ive used Avon acne creams through out pregnancy.. hasnt stopped them all together but has minimised them somewhat.
Have u thought about using pro active?
I have a long history of acne that has required repeated treatment with Roaccutane tables (x3) and topical cream (x1) in the past. Obviously I can't take/use it now but I am wondering if anyone has heard and/or tried of any other treatments for acne that are safe in pregnancy?
I asked my ob the other day and he said anything strong enough to work is not good for bubs. Silly me declined a referral back to my skin specialist - now regreting that decision.
My acne seems to be getting worse as the pregnancy progresses. It is not cystic acne (which I took the Roaccutane for, although I've had a couple of them recently) but more standard large-ish pimples.
Any help or suggestions gratefully appreciated. The condition of my skin is really starting to get me down.
