Antepartum haemhorrage. Did it happen again next pg?

    Hi

(Whoops pardon my typo above cannot change?)

I haven't logged onto BB in a very long time, DS keeps me very busy these days.

We are not ttc again yet but just starting to think about my general health and well being in preparation for when we do decide to ttc.

At 30 weeks i had an APH which had me put on bed rest at home until 32 weeks when i had another APH which results in the following 2 weeks in hospital and then birth of our son at 34wks 4dys.

OB said no actual cause in my case could have been a number of things (have had 2 m/c resulting in 2 d&c's, known scarring on uterus) but just curious if anyone else who has suffered APH has gone on to have same happen in a later pregnancy or were pregnancies that followed uncomplicated?

    Thanks.

Hi, I had a similar sort of thing although it doesn't sound as serious as yours.
In my second pg I had heavy blessing at the 8 week mark, I had an ultrasound and baby was fine and all they said was that the bleeding wasn't coming from inside the sac.I had several more bleeds at 26, 34 and 36 and then was induced shortly after that.no reason could ever be found, baby and placenta were perfect.
Sorry I can't help you with any answers.

    Good luck x

I appreciate your response loulabelle, so your first pregnancy was ok then? I am hoping that my APH was just 'bad luck' and that it won't happen again... ttc & pregnancy can be such a mysterious journey. BTW - nice choice for your son's name , my DS is Samuel also!
