    yeah I had hte same thing happen... I was on notice for going on insulin if I went over 8... one night I did it, got an 8.2, so double checked a minute later and got a 6! So then I was like "what the..?" My endo said that a) those machines aren't THAT accurate - too expensive to make them that accurate and there would be variance between tests, and that b) what is more important is the general trends anyway... that they were looking at a number of tests to see what's happening over time. It is very disconcerting though!

    I am going to start my "experiment" thread soon, but I haven't had a reading over 6.5, and haven't changed a THING!!!!
