Can anyone recommend a chiro/physio for SPD?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and my SPD is getting worse by the day! Today I overdid things a bit (even though I didn't do THAT much) and am in so much pain tonight! I can't move from the couch. I fear I will end up in a wheelchair by the end of this pregnancy.

I have an appointment to see my regular chiro this week, but I don't think he knows much, if anything, about SPD.

Can anyone recommend a chiro or physio or osteo who knows about this condition. I am in Melbourne.

    Thank you!!

It's not exactly what you asked for... I also know a great Osteo (deals a lot with PG) in Doncaster East - happy to send the details if you want 'em. Good luck and hope you feel better soon!!

I had SPD so I sympathise big-time! I went to Fitwise in East Melbourne (close to city) - they specialise in pregnancy-related conditions.

I don't have their contact details to hand but PM me if you like.

Kate Rogers speicalises in pregnancy and women related issues, I saw her for my SPD and she was awesome. I had severe SPD that caused me to bedridden for parts of my pregnancy and she enabled me to be able to walk I got a brace so that I could actually venture out to shopping centres and such (still no longer than an hour) but it was still something iykwim? I had SPD with my first pregnancy and had no relief, the therapist I saw was HORRID and didn't help me at all.

    Thank you all!

Unfortunately I am in the West of Melbourne, so a couple of these are a bit far away.

I would love the details of Fitwise!

    And where is Kate Rogers?

    Thank you!

Amber try ISIS primary care if you cat get into hopsital ones!

Hospital ones are good as they will give you points on positions for labour etc and can see you postnatally on ward also.

ISIS have centres all around the west.
