Has anyone had the chicken pox vaccine and then fallen pregnant soon after? Apparently you are meant to wait between 1 to 3 months before conceiving... but I may be pregnant and its only been 3 weeks since my vaccine. I am SOOOOO worried! I have been trying to find information about it but its very limited. I am going to see the doctor for my booster shot next week. I will know for sure if I am pregnant by then.
Just want to know if anyone else has experienced this?
I had to have my shots for chicken pox earlier this year and we were told by my doctor to wait for 3 months before ttc. Not sure how serious the problems can be, but if i were you i would just call the surgery and see if you can speak to a doctor, just so you know what you might be dealing with. Either that or see if you can make your appointment earlier. Will you be able to tell for sure if you are pregnant if you go any earlier?
Hope it all goes really well for you and that talking to the doctor puts your mind at ease,
Selbelle,
I have recently had the same thing happen to me and am desperate to get more information. Can I ask what happened in your particular instance? THANK YOU!
I'm sure just about every Ob would have their view on this but I had to have the vaccine last year and i mentioned to my Ob about the advice on the pack to wait 3 months and he said not to take too much notice and I could start ttc straight away. I think there is i tiny tiny tiny risk involved but is like anything these days - so many litigation cases they have to scare you with the packaging.
