    Codeine in third trimester.

    I have run out of what i normally take and i have a throbing head ache and my knees are killing. i only have ibuprofen or paracetamol with codeine. I dont have the little leaflet in the boxes and im wondering can i take codeine. im 41 weeks pregnant. i did google it but got mixed answers. any ideas???

    dont take the ibuprofen though - that is definately not ok to take. It works like asprin and thins the blood which is very dangerous

    No, i knew the Ibuprofen was a no-no.but the codeine worked a treat and i slept so well!!
