DD might have the flu....WWYD - get the shot or see if I get it?

Glad to read she doesn't have it..... I contracted the flu this year and I didn't have my flu shot ... my GP was annoyed with me for not having it but in the next breathe said the strain I had wasn't covered in the flu shot!! So umm yeah it wouldn't have made any difference!! Though I was bed ridden for 2 whole weeks!! I don't ever remember being so sick!!! Though thankfully no one else in my family got it!!!

Though when I was pregnant with DD - DH and DS were sick with Swine flu!! Especially DH he was off work for a whole month!! I never got sick!!

Strange how you can get and it and it can bypass you!
