Dry tickling cough - is there anything I can take?

I've developed a dry, tickling cough that just won't let up. It's near impossible to sleep in this heat, and add to that this cough, I am feeling quite sorry for myself at the moment!

I've gargled with salt water, but is there anything else I could try?

    I'm 15 weeks.

    Thanks

A spoonful of honey might help?

it's awful being sick when pregnant or at the best of times.

Unfortunately here is no a lot ou can take, I wasn't even allowed the strong stepsil lozenges! You can have-the honey and lemon ones though.

    Hope you are better soon.

Have a chat to the pharmacist about whether there are any safe medications.

Honey works well, and you might get a more soothing effect from having it in a hot drink.

There was a wise woman who was on here that swore by a honey and onion cough remedy. If you google it there are heaps of recipes.

I swear by the honey and onion remedy! If it seems to hard to digest try the good old honey and lemon drink
